y/n walked into the room, their h/c h/l hair shining beautifully in the autumn sunset as they strut down the stairs in their f/c dress. f/n cheered them on as bad boy Carter stared at them from across the beautifully decorated hall, y/n dazzling as the music blared loudly. "y/n! you made it." carter ran up to them, excited to see his crush at the ball. "y-y-y-y-y-yes i-i-i-i-i-i d-d-d-d-di-d!" y/n stuttered a bit, blushing.
"EXCUSE ME?! CARTER YOU CANT POSSIBLY BE TALKING TO THIS SCUM OF A GIRL. COME ON, WERE GOING TO HANG OUT WITH DEREK AND HIS FRIENDS!" veronica snarled at y/n as she cowered in fear and hid behind carter. "UGH! HOW DARE YOU! I WILL TELL MY FATHER ABOUT THIS!" veronica began to storm off before turning back around and shoving carter out of the way to get to y/n, "and by the way, you and your little friend are so fake. i can tell. you arent fooling anyone. besides, whats her name? f/n? she totally hates you, you can see it in the way she does her lipstick. tootles!" veronica began to walk off, but y/n was seething with hatred.
"YOU COME UP TO ME, INSULT ME, INSULT CARTER, AND WORST OF ALL INSULT MY BEST FRIEND?! I DONT THINK SO, YOU PLASTIC, BARBIE DOLL, SPARKLY PINK PRINCESS!" y/ns hair began to flow in the wind, which hadnt appeared until now. carter saw her eyes glowing a bright bright cyan blue color, and she began to levitate off the ground.
"NOBODY TALKS ABOUT MY BEST FRIEND LIKE THAT!" y/n blasted veronica away with a powerful blast of water out of her hands, effectively killing her and sending her body somewhere far off into the setting sun with a high-pitched scream.
everybody else at the party ran and hid, but not carter or f/n. they ran up to her as she gently floated back down to the ground and fainted. carter carried y/n to his house because it was closer and what are cars of phones or 911? lmao. f/n followed to ensure y/ns safety, because while carter was nice now he did used to bully the both of them and she didnt quite trust him yet.
y/n woke up on a bed that wasnt hers in a room that wasnt hers, surrounded by carter and f/n both with worried looks on their faces. "y/n! youre awake!" f/n shouted, quickly embracing y/n in a tight hug. "well dont crush her! we dont know if shes injured..." carter walked over and held y/ns hand, "are you okay? what was that back there?" "i-i-i.... i-i- d-d-d-dont kn-kn-kn-know........." y/n stuttered, her voice breaking as she tried to recall teh events of the last hour.
"i-i-i dont f-f-feel h-h-hurt......... d-d-do i l-look h-h-h-h-hurt?" carter looked her over, blushing at how beautiful she looked, "umm... no... so thats uh... thats good..." "i didnt think shed be hurt, i wasnt when i did that." f/n smirked over at the two. "Wh-w-w-w-when you w-w-what??" y/n made eye contact with her friend, who semed to know what was happening. "i figured your mom would have told you by now but, youre one of the 4 chosen elements. i am too. i like to think its fate we found eachother." carter and y/n stared at her in shock, jaws dropped to the floor.

"im almost out... i need to get some more." f/n said as she closed up the bag and shoved it back into their pocket. suddenly there was a knock at the door, and y/n knew it was her mom. she gathered her phone and her bag and went out to greet her. "hello sweetie, are you okay?! you arent hurt, are you?! hungry, tired?!" y/ns mom ushered as she ran over and grabbed her daughters face in her hands. "m-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-mom im fine... just a little stressed." y/n gently pushed her mothers hands off of her and walked a little closer to the door, "i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-im ready to go though. i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i wanna be back at home..."
