Warwick Castle! Sept 16th 2015 In which there were many many many stairs. After which we may have napped too much.
So our plane was pretty big... Just saying.
San Fran!
Remember this Blog!?
ME NEITHER! But I'm leaving the country again so I'm BREAKING IT OUT. GET STOKED. Then snap back to reality and get underwhelmed.
BACK IN THE STATES!!

FUN FACT:
We're still in London. Mom's bad flight mojo has held true. We arrived at the airport ready to board a plane that never arrived from Chicago, so instead we were put up in a hotel for the night. FUN TIMES. We're mostly just bummed we didn't know about it in advance, otherwise we would have tried to get into an olympic event or creep around the city a bit. Oh well.
Until tomorrow!
So today we were back in London, and we adventured over by the Olympic stadium getting swallowed up by the crowds. Then tonight we went and saw Wicked!! An awesome way to end the trip. Can't believe we're heading back tomorrow!
Yesterday after running to catch a train out of Brussels we made it back to London before hopping on another train out to Warwick! Where we spent today exploring the castle and trying on fake chain mail helmet things like this. It was a super fun day filled with jousting and eagles and baby pancakes and forcing mom to climb the ramparts and brave the dungeon. Super fun!! Tomorrow we're back in London for some last minute adventuring before our flight home on Wednesday! {insert panic here} <3
Bye bye to Brussels and your peeing statues!
Last Day in Belgium! [July 28th 2012]
After staying up to sleep through watch the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics, mom and I got a late start before spending the day being shown Brussels by Jeff and Jackie while hanging out with the kids. It was great and beautiful. Plus it's a lot cooler here than it was in Italy (not to mention Mom's blisters are finally mostly gone), so walking around all day is a much more appealing prospect.
Lots of fun hanging out with everyone and seeing the sights! Not to mention we got some of the infamous Belgian French Fries and we may or may not have stopped at a chocolate shop for some goodies :]
Only a couple more days over here before we head back to the States! Crazy!! Tomorrow we're back off to England to Warwick Castle then back to London (which should be insane) then it's back home!! Ahh!
Miss ya'll! <3
Day the-day-after-??: Bruges, the Medieval Disneyland of Belgium (July 27th 2012)
Today we took a train out to Bruges! We wandered around quite a bit enjoying the vibe and all the parks, which was quite refreshing after the utter parklessness of Venice. Then I ate the most ridiculous thing I've had thus far on the trip. It was called a French Hamburger and consisted of a baguette stuffed full with halved burger patties and french fries slathered in ketchup and mayo. It was amazing and terrifying all at once.
After our lunch adventure we headed into the city, took a nice boat tour, rummaged around the flea market and then attempted and failed to get utterly lost on our way back to the train station while dodging the rain.
Overall nice day though the heat in the trams here is insanity!
Miss Ya'll! <3
Day ??: Made it to Brussels! (July 26th 2012)
After a boat, a luggage cart, a plane, the RER, the paris Metro, and two trains we made it to Brussels!! (only to spend half the day napping, but god was it an awesome nap)
Spent the day napping, wandering around a bit, and hanging out with Jeff Jackie and the kids. :]
Venice was awesome, and beautiful though we are of the theory that they should invest in more benches, OR we should have booked a hotel with less stairs. Venice has a surprisingly large collection of stairs, and I'm pretty sure we tackled most of them ;]
Can't believe we've less then a week left!
Tomorrow we're off to Bruges and maybe a flee market!
Hopefully I'll manage to get some pictures up as well!
Miss Ya'll <3
Venice!
Made it to Venice! Though we only have Internet in the lobby so posts will be brief. Florence was great and I’ll try and post more about it later. Venice is beautiful tons of tiny winding streets and canals and contrary to logic no where near as easy to get lost in as Rome was. And tomorrow we’ll be taking a gondola ride! Can’t wait!
Guess what we found in the Vatican? Yeah, I know right?
Guess who we saw today??
