I did some doodling last night on my new wacom moveinkpad pro 14 after some troubleshooting. I'm starting to design the main character of my book and since I want that 80's feel I am using Robot Carnival as inspiration and reference. She's not done but I got so excited with this I one! I struggle in drawing people but the way I'm tackling the drawing feels right.
First text-based game!
So I updated my TTRPG PDF file to be a Twine text-based game instead! It's the one called "Escape the Dimensional Trap". It's ment to be simple but I'm planning to update it to include more features, graphics, and difficulties. Comments/feedback is welcome.
Your trapped in a space dimension! Escape fast before your trapped forever!
Robot Carnival 1987
So I watched Robot Carnival. Not my first time but it's been a long time since I've seen it so I forgot most of it. Lets just say, it inspired me to go more of an old 80s route with my illustrations and also sound or music if I go into 2D animation.
Robot Carnival had a nice charm between an anthology and a movie which has inspired me to try something with my own stories while I'm writing the first book.
If you want to watch Robot Carnival, I found it on YouTube.
Content Warning: Robot Carnival contains flashes, so if you're sensitive to that I'd recommend avoiding it. It also has blood and violence.
some silly pokemon gifts
Found this drum solo (played by Kalonica Nicx) for One Way Ticket by Eruption and love it! It's versions like this that really make a heavy story feel fun so I added this to certain playlist so I can write those fun moments that are now forever in my head.
I'm not a musician but this would still classify as a drum solo right? I've forgotten what this is called but I love it!
Our girlfriend looks so pretty from outer space
What is the background hum?
Doing some research for my book, and I keep hearing about this background hum in space. I heard about it from one of the Voyagers that made it out at the edge of the solar system, and now I'm watching this video related to bit flipping and how that affected a small Nintendo 64 game. It makes me wonder if there is something more to it all. I have yet to finish the video, so there may be an answer on it, but if not, maybe I need to do more research?
Me being me; it sounds like it's a lot of fog like particles we can't see with our eyes but sense with equipment. If we could go out to the edge of our solar system, I wonder if movement would become soupy and hard to move through in a way? A lot of what we know are theories in my opinion because we have tools to determine what things are from a distance, but we can not send someone with more tools to go check it out in person.
This is how my stories get made lol, with thoughts like these.
Moonlight by Fxar Nx Evil
I think I found my book theme. Usually it's Midnight Danger or Dance with the Dead but this one just speaks.
Haven't had time to draw lately due to one of my huskies being sick, but she's much better now so I've been slowly getting back into it. This started out as some hand study warm ups ✨

What would you do?
So if it isn't clear, I am looking for a different day job while I'm writing my first book and illustrating it. The job is about ready to change and if I don't find something by July 1st I may be stuck with a new boss i'm not happy with. I'm having trouble finding one and not sure if I can't finish my book by then (or part of it) to even have a chance at getting a little money to live off of.
Well, Titmouse has unpaid mentorships open and I really really really want to apply even though my chances of getting in our low.
So what do I do? Stick with the current job and get this internship and hope the experience pulls me somewhere new in life, or do I find a new job while writing the book and give up this opportunity? Either way the book is getting written lol.
What would you do in this situation? Stick with the current job and give up the opportunity, or keep the current job and apply for the internship?
Keep current job and apply for the mentorship
Find a new job and give up the mentorship.
