There is no doubt in my mind that she loved Steve, BUT her interactions with Angie are laced with queer and romantic subtext. Angie takes on the role traditionally held by love interests in superhero media, as Peggy tries to hide her job from her to protect her. In their very first on screen interaction, Angie tells Peggy that her legs are attractive and gives her a look that reads as VERY flirtatious. A man at Angie’s job harasses her, so Peggy threatens to stab the guy unless he shuts up and tips her nicely. It works!!! Angie ropes Peggy into moving into her apartment building and was very eager to do so. I could keep going, that’s just the first few episodes.

An additional, non-Angie related note: Peggy technically shared the first same sex kiss in the MCU with Dottie Underwood. Technically. In a way. It’s complicated and I can’t explain it without soiling stuff but yeah.
