A heart shaped whip sounds cute but is off brand. Like the red leather 'hunting outfit'. I like the blue leather for Chocolate- a different page said red but i refused to click through anywhere on the site- these were all pages that came up from googling tira dota sorcerer hunters on startpage.
Just had to post how happy I was to receive my copy of the latest Gokikura doujinshi, BAKURETSU Artworks. This doujinshi sold out online multiple times, but now I'm overjoyed to finally have a copy in my hot little hands!
I know not everyone is going to be a fan of the Bakuretsu Hunter series or a fan of Gotoh Keiji as an animator, but both hold a special place in my heart as someone who grew up in the '90s. This doujinshi has a few colour pages of recent Gotoh artwork, but the majority of its contents are black & white rough sketches and preliminary artwork for the series. If you can think of a Gotoh illustration from the anime adaptation then you will likely find a rough version of it in this book (@hazknights has a great post outlining them all here if you're interested).
I've never made it a secret that I adore seeing preliminary artwork so this was an absolute treasure trove for me. It was also interesting to see the evolution in Gotoh's style through his changing sketches of the Misu sisters. Overall just a really lovely trip down memory lane and a chance to glimpse behind the curtain at Gotoh's line work, which is always appreciated.
