Ohhhhh you have set an itch in my brain with your tags about Huddy’s “bf and his gf” pretending to like each other, but actually just wanting the other to piss off. Because isn’t that how a triangle always goes? The two outer… points (I wish I hadn’t mentioned triangles, now I have to stick with it) both being independently smugly convinced that they’re the one who will ultimately be chosen. Feeling almost sorry for the other one who’s definitely going to be rejected and let down, because it definitely for sure isn’t going to be them, what they have is so special. Being overly pleasant and complimentary to show that they’re the bigger person like Connor gushing over her outfit at the Oscars. And the longer it goes on, the more sure they become. It’s just because Hudson’s such a nice guy, they say to themselves. He doesn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. So I’ll be a bit more patient. He’ll make the right choice eventually. Meanwhile Big Hud is doing his skincare routine with his feet in both jars of peanut butter. What a sandbox to dig around in!

indeed anon actually that oscars moment is what planted that little brain worm in the mangled sand-filled mess that is my cranium...the way he's just a leeeeetle bit too over-emoting.... the venice ice cream date they were more natural but I would absolutely looooove to see more of them together. I want to be a fly on the wall of all the times connor has third wheeled them (or she has third wheeled hudcon you know...)

I also selfishly love blissed-out oblivious hudson characterisation and this really fits the bill haha. he's happy he's getting cuddled and kissed on all nice by both of them isn't the world grand! who says you have to compromise sometimes things do just work out! and then of course...it does blow up in his face haha

as a montrealer im still soooo scared about the official production details having montreal in there. i feel like they didn't even film s1 here at all right??? and i haven't read tlg in a while but is there anything that would be necessary to film here if there wasn't in heated rivalry?

oh anon they're keeping you on your toes...I just consulted my bible (my notes app where I made a list of everything that happens in TLG by chapter because I have some kind of brain issue where no matter how many times i read it I PHYSICALLY CANNOT RECALL A SINGLE THING THAT HAPPENS) and I think if anything was gonna be on location it would be ottawa stuff. most montreal stuff happens either at shane's or the pikes' so maybe it will be on a sound stage somewhere? you should be safe!!
