Have I struck a creative chord?! If you were to put a stage production together I’d sign myself up, for whatever role(s) you feel since you would be the boss. Young? They aren’t that much younger than me, are they? I - don’t try and put some of me in your tea, I don’t want to be scolded.
You have, darling, I quite think this will be my next creative endeavor. Yes, but you see, all of you bright things are terribly young to an old creature like me. You are a darling, I’m going to go to work straightaway on this play and we’ll work up a schedule and be opening in no time!

Thank you very much, Ilike being called a Hufflepuff. The only house that accepts everyone and that is something that is very important to me. I guess you could call them the House of Tolerance. And you, my dear, would make a wonderful Hufflepuff as well, you take such wonderful and loving care of me. You can make all the noises you want, a massage is supposed to make you feel good and it is nice to show your appreciation. And it is a real offer, I really learned how to give a professional back rub. My ex-husband always had problems and I wanted to be able to truly help him. I’ve often thought I belong in Ravenclaw or Slytherin, not that I’d be intolerant or beastly to anyone, but I can be shrewd and I’ve never shied away from taking risks in my career for the greater reward. Remember that even Harry said a Slytherin was one of the bravest men he’d ever known. And old Horace Slughorn wasn’t so wretched, was he? No, I think there’s a place in Slytherin for tolerance as well, it’s just that the hunger for power gets in the way of it sometimes. But Harry, Ron and Hermione would have built a better world and a better way of doing things, don’t you think? Well, that’s enough about that. I suppose I’ll let you put your strong hands on me and try not to have naughty thoughts. I’m only teasing, dear. Mostly.
I like the way you think, @hbicarter, just so you know. Sometimes, I do doubt my decisions, and it’s a little difficult to get out of my head, but having it all put in perspective does make a difference.
You’re awfully young to already have regrets, dear. Some day you’ll reach the point where doubt fades away and all you’re left with are good memories and the echoes of laughter. I wish nothing less for you, love.
[text] Good to know that I'm not the only one, or the only one who sees them as a means to a goal more than anything, a stepping stone of sorts. Due to one of them, I can do whatever I want right now, it's quite nice.

I think I can safely say I’d be a better candidate than who we currently have. Hey, even a hypothetical, non-existent vote makes me happy. I love cooking, but it does taste better when somebody else has made the effort to make it for you, especially when it’s a man. Are you going to get yourself a hot, young chef? And if so, can I steal him? I don’t think anyone will care - although, that’a sight I would like to see! Did you go and see the different foods at the fall festival? I heard it was something else. I was pictured the other day coming out of the airport in sweats and covering my face with a big pillow and then glammed it up. David Cameron… The old prime minister? Do you talk about politics or just anything in general? I like them sometimes, they’re sweet and something different to drink. For proper relaxing I’ve grown to real tea or a hot chocolate.
The less said about that wretched man the better, don’t you think? If Americans are going to elect celebrities and reality show hosts, they could have done a good deal better. Why not that charming Howie Mandell? Anyone would be better, in my opinion. Young Mr. Bomer has been very solicitous of me, but I’m not sure I’m ready to share him yet. It’s been some time since a young man looked at me that way, although of course he doesn’t mean anything by it, because a recently divorced gay man. But that doesn’t stop a girl from sighing. I decided to make a quiet day of it and did not get out to the festival, although now I regret that. Sweats are useful, darling, and look quite fetching on slender young things. Yes, the old Prime Minister. He’s a charming man and fairly level-headed. We didn’t discuss politics, I find the topic sours a good meal or tea. Well, there’s no accounting for one’s tastes, and I do indulge in a hot chocolate from time to time.

Which is exactly why I stay away from the online world. What’s the most ridiculous you’ve read about yourself? I know that I’ve supposed to have slept with every co-star I’ve had, male or female. I find that rather amusing. I think so, too, we’ve lost the art of debate - instead, people throw comments at each other, or just words. Or worse, just emojis. And then they hope to get a reaction from it. I will tell her that, because she is. Quite literally so. Gigi is very special to me. Oh, yes please! How could I ever refuse an invitation like that from you, darling. When is a good time for you? There’s a tea-tery around, so don’t worry about that. And there are quite a few hidden gems around, too, a sandwich shop, for example? Best in town, with self-made bread.
Well, the lucky thing is that I’m peculiar enough that they don’t have to reach very far for something interesting to say about me. I’ve been photographed at the market in my pajamas, for goodness’ sake. But I did read that I have some pull in politics, that I’m very close to the PM and a closet Tory--all because I had lunch with him one afternoon! I was quite amused by that, one likes to think that one is a mover and shaker, as it were. The public seems to be rougher on young women than young men, don’t you think? Like your Gigi. It takes an exceedingly steady head and thick skin to tolerate all of the whispers, or better yet ignore them. I can always make time for you, my dear. Perhaps next Wednesday would suit? Please do introduce me to your favorite tea shoppe, it’s always nice to have a cuppa properly presented rather than making it at home.

Blush? Me? I would never try anything of the sort. I suppose with Halloween and everything just around the corner, it really is? I didn’t know there was a spiritualism section of an antique book shop around so I’ve learned two things in the one - I’ll need to go and give it a look when I get a moment. Bubble baths are a ritual we should all have for ourselves from time to time, not sure if you can find anything more relaxing.
It’s wicked of me, but this time of year I always want to do silly things like walk in cemeteries or go to fortune tellers. It seems like the one time of the year that everything gets a bit magical. I don’t quite believe in any of it but the sense of adventure and excitement is too tempting to be ignored. The only thing more relaxing than a bubble bath is of course a massage, although it’s been some time since strong hands have gone to work on these old bones.

That might be true, but I don’t think that I’ll ever be myself as being that much of a big shot. The Lion in Winter is one of my favourite period dramas of all times. Recreating it, even hypothetically, with you would be incredible. Peter O’Toole? That’s a compliment I haven’t received before and I’m pretty honoured by it. Definitely better behaved, and also definitely blushing at the thought of getting up to similar antics.
I adore it too, perhaps we could put together a stage production of it here in Royal? It was just a one-off suggestion, but now I can’t get it out of my mind. Young Taron and Richard would be brilliant as your brothers, don’t you think? I can’t imagine better casting. Oh, Peter was luminous, quite captivating in anything he did. All you need now is your Lawrence of Arabia. You are so scrummy, I could put a dollop of you in my tea and it would quite sweeten it up.

They should make me president, world peace would be immediate. I adore Italy, and the coffee, the good, the wine. I wasn’t at one point, a few years ago I couldn’t make pasta without over cooking it. It really depends what I’m in the mood for and we switch it up, sometimes I’ll cook, sometimes Max will but more often we do it together. He does, he’s good at that, but he also knows I’ll be upset if he doesn’t. There is, yes. It was here a couple of weeks ago and should be back soon. The fruit that they have is incredible, you should really have a look the next time. I like tea, I prefer my coffee but if I want to relax tea does the job. I quit like some of these fruity teas that I don’t think Max is all that fond of, I can’t believe some of the flavours you can get.
I would support your bid for the presidency, dear, although I’m afraid I can’t vote. Cooking together, now that strikes me as an ideal compromise. I’ve had offers from many generous young men to cook with or even for me, and I’ve a mind to take them up on it. There’s nothing like enjoying a good meal together, it gives one quite a warm feeling. I expect no one will mind if I stop by the farmer’s market in one of my enormous sunhats with striped stockings, not that public opinion has ever mattered to me. Why, I’ve been photographed at the market before in my pajamas, then took tea the next day with David Cameron, looking very proper. Don’t think I’m a Tory darling, but you see, one hasn’t got to be a Tory to have Tory friends, even the PM. Oh, dear, ‘fruity’ teas? Why would one spoil a perfectly good Earl Grey or Twinings?
