Zayn’s album had a big effect on me. I didn’t notice till now. ‘Calamity’ is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard, the lyrics are so vulnerable and truthful. Maybe it’s an attachment, but that song is more than a song, for me it’s a feeling. Every word he says I can feel what he probably felt writing it. People are not aware about all the feelings the writers & singers put into the music. It’s incredible to experience this, specially with Zayn’s music. His music is really powerful & has changed me in many ways. But ‘Calamity’ holds a special place in my heart. I will be grateful forever to zayn because he made that song a put it in the album for all of us to listen. I can’t imagine not listening to that song ever again. The beginning hits so hard, it hits right back home. “Nostalgia, what a funny feeling” and I agree, the feeling of nostalgia is so strange, and we feel it so often. Words have power, and Zayn’s word will forever stay in my heart I’m sure about that.
