Fuck ICE.

I needed to channel some of my anger at the government into something hopefully productive so I made this. Got inspired by all the anti-ICE superhero art going around and wanted to make one with my current favorite hero. This was really fun and I encourage everyone to draw their fav beating up fascists.

ICE is full of incels, because incels are the perfect people to join ICE.

They're able to hurt people while thinking of themselves as the good guys.

They're unfazed by being disliked, because they believe that they'll be disliked no matter what they do.

They're full of hate and jumping at the chance to direct that hate at a socially acceptable target.

And when you understand that ICE is full of incels, it makes perfect sense why they'd murder someone for this. Nothing enrages an incel more than being told "don't touch her".

Ik I never shared my political opinions here but with as much that has happened in not even a month it just bums me out. Fuck ice man, this isn’t the America soldier would fight for.

I can't stop laughing at this. Like I am sure the fandom they are referring to is Gravity Falls, but Alex Hirsh was also heavily involved with the creation of the Owl House. He was dating Dana Terrance at the time, he provided several voices including two of the most important characters.

Did Uncle Honey Badger seriously think that a man who helped create a show about overthrowing an evil, tyrannical emperor who uses state religion to cultivate a cult like following would be pro-ice?

A young woman produced a PA system in the middle of the crowd. Everybody circled around it as people took turns making speeches.

A young man took the mic. He couldn’t have been more than 20.

“Y’ALL. NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE US. WE MADE HISTORY YESTERDAY. WE WENT ON GENERAL STRIKE. WE SHUT DOWN THIS WHOLE FUCKING CITY. THAT’S THE BEST WEAPON THE PEOPLE HAVE, WE’RE THE ONES WHO MAKE THE WORLD RUN AND WE’RE THE ONES WHO CAN MAKE IT STOP. BUT ONE DAY’S NOT ENOUGH. WE GOTTA KEEP IT GOING INTO MONDAY.”

The crowd broke out into thunderous applause, cheering and drumming rhythmically on the dumpster lids. The young man started a chant: “NO MORE MINNESOTA NICE! MONDAY MINNESOTA STRIKE!”

These faces have been and will be in my mind all month, and likely they will never leave. Worse even, there will likely be more added. To artists and those of us who can speak up, we NEED to speak up—we are as much a part of this world and society as everyone else, and we can create things that can do even just a little good/reflection/solidarity. I’m so angry, which only means I’m NOT going to stop speaking out and doing what I can to remind people that this is so wrong and evil. Abolish ICE!!!
