As if Hiraeth wasnāt different enough from the environment Hokuto was used to, the idol had to adjust to the new sensation of power at his fingertips, the feeling of magical energy in the air, and most notably: the feeling of being pulled through space and time through teleportation. There were many new things that plagued the boyās life, and although he looked forward to new experience, it was hard times being jostled from his usual schedule. He sighed inwardly as he arrived in Orilon, surprised to see that the planet had more of an atmosphere than Hiraeth did. Rain poured down from the clouded skies, and his mind briefly went to the apparent robotic life that inhabited the planet. Surely they had a plan when circumstances as such happened, right?
He really did have to stop worrying about everyone else.
Still, while he wasnāt exactly fond of getting soaked, a little rain never stopped anyone. Heading out into the open air, Hokuto took a look around, arguably out of his element. The lights all around reminded him of the big cities he always saw photos of his parents visiting, and the rigs sent up for his own live performances. It was almost comforting, in a way.Ā
As if almost by fate, when Hokuto turned to look down one side of the road, curious as to what was around so he could make a beeline for the next shop, he spotted a familiar head of orange hair. Less voluminous than normal, wet down by the rain falling down, but unmistakably belonging to one of his most valued unit members. Pleased to see him, perhaps a little more than he might allow himself to show, Hokuto was about to call out to Subaru when he noticed something was a bit off about his disposition. At times, he had spotted the weary face his team member wore, the way the world seemed to weigh heavily upon his shoulders. As annoying as the other could be, Hokuto hating seeing anyone - let alone Subaru - in such a state.
Subaru Akehoshi deserved to shine as brightly as the star he was bound to become, and Hokuto would do everything he could to ensure his friend would be able to accomplish that.
āAkehoshi!ā Hokuto called out, stepping out from the cover of the teleportarium, letting the rain hit his school jacket that heād been given. Underneath, still visible despite how heād done up some of the buttons and the golden chain, was the clothes he had originally been brought to Hiraeth in - his idol uniform, from Yumenosaki. Reaching out once he was near, the Trickstar leader placed a hand on the otherās shoulder, stirring him from whatever thoughts that had been plaguing his mind. When Hokuto was able to view his face, his lips tugged down into a sort of frown. While only there for a moment, he did not miss the reserved look on Subaruās face.
One of Hokutoās most unfortunate traits, must have been his weakness for getting too focused on things. In that moment, his goal becameĀ āhow to cheer up the Idiot Akehoshiā, and nothing else. Had he given it more thought, a shiny coin might have simply done the trick but instead he leaned forward impulsively. Instinct taking over, Hokuto pressed his lips gently to Subaruās, one hand lifting to hold the otherās face steady by resting on Subaruās cheek. Hokutoās eyes fluttered closed and for a moment, he forgot himself and let his emotions and desire to make his friend feel better take control.Ā
Short lived was his blindness however, as Hokuto quickly pulled away, the thoughts of a nearby onlooker invading his mind as they commented mentally on how he had randomly kissed Subaru in the middle of the sidewalk. Hokutoās cheeks flared up, blush spreading from his neck all the way to the tips of his ears and then onto his face. He broke off from the kiss, eyes now wide as he struggled for something to say, something that would explain his actions thoroughly. Despite himself, Hokuto couldnāt come up with a worthwhile explanation.Ā
