leislmich:
“not anything too important. just him ranting about the lack of training in most contemporary genres and the importance of a theoretical foundation to all music learning. you know, his usual tirade against modern artist.” she added with a smirk. “henry right? I’m leisl. how are you in this class as a freshman? I’ve been through this a whole year more and can barely keep up with his lessons.” she inquired as she knelt to pick up some papers she had knocked off her desk throughout class. she got so stressed during unstructured lectures she always ended them a disheveled mess of papers, pens, and furrowed brows. “I normally don’t look this gross - I just hate lectures.”
“oh, of course.” henry could only laugh as he finished picking up his books, placing them in his. backpack. “yeah, nice to meet you! here, lemme help.” quickly, he bent down, collecting a few of leisl’s papers with a small grin. “i took AP music theory in high school... so when they saw that on my transcript they recommended i take this course. saves me a couple bucks in credits.” he laughed, handing over her papers. “but i’m starting to think it’s a bit of a mistake. these lectures are awful. can’t stay awake for the life of me!”
