Alex rolled his eyes, a small smile playing across his lips. “See.. as thrilling as that sounds there’s a couple problems..” He began, picking up the hot drink, “One… Liam hates me. Two.. god help us if we becoming in laws and three–…” he paused taking a sip, “Jamie would be kind of pissed that I’m cheating on her.”

Oliver watched the other.r “why would he hate you Alex…” he admitted to the other. “And what would be bad about us being in laws?” He questioned. Before hearing about Jamie. “Wait…wait… you and Jamie… since when…and why was I not informed about this.?” He asked.

“Well I’m the reason—..” Alex was cut off by the next question, “Wouldnt he horr—..” and once again. When the question of Jamie came up, Alex’s eyes widened. He could of sworn he mentioned it to Oliver. Oliver was like his brother. “Yeah uh—…” and then it hit him. Alex hadn’t told anyone because Jamie wanted it to be a secret. “Been a few months… with her.. I mean…”

Oliver’s eyes were wide as he listened to Alex. “Dude you should be telling me things like this… I don’t tell anyone those sort of things.” He reminded the other. “But do tell… I have to admit it’s not something I foresaw.”

“Uhh…” Alex shrugged a bit. There were genuine feelings for Jamie…. but at the same time he didn’t know why they started dating. Alex liked her, yeah… but there had always been an uneasy feeling. Keeping it a secret made him feel uneasy. “She’s cool.” Was all he managed to say. All he managed to think. Jamie was nice… they’d been friends for a while… but to Alex that was about it. friends.

Oliver watcher the male and frowned a little. "Alex..." he started before staying quiet for a moment. "Shes cool is not really something that you spend the rest of your life with someone for..." he admitted. "Are you sure that's all it is?" He questioned. He didn't want to push it to much.

Oliver had not planned on going anywhere until the parker had asked him to come over. He wasn’t even sure why he agreed to it. He had such a strange relationship with the other male since they separated. They went from couple to no strings attached and barely talking unless they were having sex, to him asking Oliver over. As Oliver looked to males house, he sighed and paused for a moment. After a inhale of courage, the mikaelson made his way up to the door and knocked on it gently.

Kian wouldn’t be able to admit it out loud but he regretted breaking up with Oliver.  Just going to college he felt like he was cheating the Mikaelson out of the high school experience.  On top of that there was a little bit of an age difference which was big when Oliver was in high school but was nothing now that they were both adults.

He was glad when the Mikaelson agreed to coming over and was planning to keep his word.  They would actually talk and not some late night hook up.  He walked over to the front door when he heard the knock.  "Hey,“ he greeted as he opened the door.

As the other opened the door, oliver smiled for a moment, he struggled not to when he first saw that face. He composed himself and shifted a little. " Boo!" He replied with a small smile once again. " thanks for the invite... earlier was so awkward... I mean it's not usually like that." He admitted.

Alex nodded, he got it. It was a grey area. “Uh…” was all that managed to come out of his mouth… his mind instantly thinking of Liam. He missed him more than ever. “Alright.. I guess… you know..” Alex took a sip, “Work… more work…”

Oliver watched the other and after a moment finally was able to speak after appearing giddy. “ you know after kian ended things and we were just sex buddys…and it was seriously awkward if we had to speak… we he invited me over to his place… and we spent the night together…like together ” he admitted

Alex felt a bit awkward at the mention of Oliver and Kian being fuck buddies. Yeah he knew… but it was still a tad awkward none the less. But he tried to push it away. “Mhm so…” he took a sip of his drink, “Does that mean you two are officially together or…?”

Oliver watched the other and shrugged a little. "I don't know...I mean we didn't talk about that as such.. but it's not a definitely never going to happen sorta deal again..." he admitted to the other. "What about you how are things going?" He questioned.

Oliver was grabbing a coffee when he noticed the other sitting in the corner of the cafe. He had so much to tell his best friend and it was no time before he approached the other to be greeted with a smile as he slipped into a chair and elbows on table with his fists holding his head up as he grinned.

Alex hadn’t noticed Oliver slip in to sit across from him and when he did he raised an eyebrow. Oliver looked like a full blown puppy. “Whats up Oliver?” Alex asked, taking a sip of the coffee, setting it down and leaning forward. The two had catching up to do.

This was the time of year Alex kind of dreaded. It was a weird time. The time between fall and winter; Halloween and Christmas. Crisp weather suddenly turning to a bitter cold. It was the time of year that people were often walking around grumpy and cold. And today.. Alex was content. He occasionally liked cold days so he could sit in the corner of the cafe, some christmasy gingerbread drink, and jotting in his notebook. It’s been a while since his brain shut up and he was actually at peace. When he saw someone approach where he was sitting he looked up, smiling up at them.

Kian wasn’t sure why he was asking Oliver to come over.  He was the one that ended the relationship.  It wasn’t fair for him to continue pulling on that string but he couldn’t help it.  They hadn’t been in this.. whatever they want to call it now for that long.  It wouldn’t be too late to call it off but he didn’t want to be the one to do that.  Definitely not for a second time.

It wasn’t like it would be over tonight, whatever it was.  Since Oliver was probably already on his way from how long ago the text was.  The Parker twin was the only one home right now.  So he didn’t have to worry if they were upstairs or down in the kitchen.  Right now he was waiting in the kitchen for Oliver to get there. @hcrvestmikcelson​

Kian: So come over, just talking. Promise.

Oliver: Okay sure.

Kian: I know I was weird at the store but you were working.

Kian: Let me make it up to.

Kian: Just come by and we can hang out. Not be awkward over candy and eggs.

Oliver: I was weird too

Oliver: I just find it awkward sometimes..

Oliver: Usually we don't talk that much when we are together..

Oliver: Okay, but be warned I am shattered so I don't know how much company I will be..

Kian: Then come by myself.

Kian: Was he ever my greatest fan?

Oliver: I mean why would you want to..

Oliver: Probably not..

Kian: Np, I was still awake anyway.

Kian: Want me to come over?

Oliver: Okay.

Oliver: Uh, I don't know if that would be good...

Oliver: I don't think my dad is your greatest fan still...

Oliver: Sorry it's so late I've literally just got into my room.

Kian hadn’t expected to run into Oliver.  It was hard to feel natural while talking to the other man while he was working.  It didn’t feel like it could could beyond simple small talk.  "I should..,“ he started to say leave but then just gestured to the cart.  "Text me later?”

Oliver watched the other and nodded his head a little. “Uh sure... I am on a close though so it’s gonna be late... so I mean if your asleep of whatever..” he admitted to the other.

“Yeah,” Kian laughed, “I don’t think it would be very nice either.”  He probably wouldn’t eat too much candy in one sitting.  At least he would try not to.  With so many bags it wouldn’t be an issue to have it last a while.

It was hard to find a time that he wasn’t working.  It was all he did after graduating college.  Even when he was there he worked part time.  Now he was just the boss and made his own hours, which tended to be a lot.  "That’s probably a smart sign,“ he was sure that there was plenty of mischief that the teenagers wanted to get into.  

Oliver watched the other and glanced down to the store price gun before back to the other. This was sure one of the more awkward encounters they had. Usually they met had great fun in Kian’s bedroom, and left without to much of a word spoken since the other had broken Oliver’s heart. “Yeah...things could get messier than they already are..”

Oliver laughed a little at the other “I should hope not… I mean it’s not terribly healthy to do all of that huh?” he admitted with a smile. He paused for a moment before looking down the aisle before back to his feet. “Did you uh… have a good Halloween?” he questioned. 

“But it would taste good,” But might give him a stomach ache to eat all that candy at once.  He remembered eating a whole bag of candy one Halloween when he was in high school.  It did not go well.  "I was working.  People like to party on Halloween so I was pretty busy,“ he had quite a few people suggest going home with him.  He wasn’t in the mood after working on Halloween.  It was a hellish disaster with all the overly enthusiastic people in the club.

Oliver laughed a little. "It probably would...but it wouldn't be as nice if you threw it all up." He admitted. "Oh? Well I'm sure that had you busy... I was working and the amount of people trying to buy eggs and stuff was unreal. We even had a sign up in the window saying we wouldn't serve them to youngsters." He admitted as his eyes met the other.
