If there was anything that ever got Aenta on edge, it was people snooping around her house without cause of being there or trying to find some sort of secret they most likely weren’t going to get. Yet someone was there, going around her Herb Garden without announcing herself that she was on Aenta’s property. She had half the mind to go out there and chase the person off, but people needed her more right now, and she couldn’t afford to leave her patients. 

“Bah, I’ll deal with her later.” She huffed irritatedly and walked off, bothered by the intruder she couldn’t take care of. Axius watched his owner head upstairs with medicine.

            He did as was TOLD to him, taking a seat in the chair as he awaited, his legs dangling from the STOOL and kicking them around in the AIR. He was rather short, and it was something he was EMBARRASSED about, but it was something he NEEDED to get over, as well.

             He started humming a GENTLE tune out loud, the harmonies mixing together with his suprano voice, EASILY melding together as he made melodies and NOSTALGIC tunes from olden times. He started fumbling his fingers as he did so.

Aenta soon came back with the first aid kit, treating the scrap on his forehead with rubbing alcohol before adding an herb paste to keep it from getting infected. She bandaged it and pressed down on it gently. 

“There you go.” She smiled. “That should be better by tomorrow. Make sure to simply wash off the paste in the morning.” Aenta mentioned, washing her hands off before going back to make the medicine. Axius lifted his head further to meet the human with green eyes, the Python’s curiosity getting the best of him.

            Fritz was very PRONE to hurting himself, which seemed to be a MIRACULOUS ISSUE that he was continuing to CREATE. The first time it was a small boo-boo on his hand, and the second time was just a SCRAPE on his knee, but the THIRD time was what really ENDED his career as any kind of GRACEFUL person. He tries his best to not FREAK OUT as he knocks on the DOOR to the girl who had helped him the LAST TWO TIMES. She was surely getting a bit fed up with him, right?

            He felt really NAUSEOUS and he wanted this to just be over with, so he pointed to his forehead, that was BLEEDING out. He hoped it wasn’t anything too TRAGIC.

            “Um, I—I need… I need a ban–bandaid.”

“Oh dear, again Fritz?” Aenta smiled. It was a wonder to her how this boy got himself hurt so easily. Yet she let him inside, the warmth of her smiles telling him that she wasn’t likely to lose patience anytime soon.

“Have a seat nearby the kitchen table; I’ll be with you in a moment.” She said, going to get some basic first aid supplies. Axius looked up from his perch, recognizing Fritz and wondering the same thing Aenta was.

It’s not always easy being the Goddess of Healing. Sick patients needing care, tending to the Gardens of her Herbs, berries, and keeping chemicals stocked for more complex medicines and vaccines. And feeding a large Python of considerable size every once and awhile.  Yet without complaint, she continues on with her work, happy. She hears a knock on the Door. 

“Oh! Hold on, I’ll be right there in a minute!” She sets down her herbs and ingredients for medicine, and goes over to the front door. 

“Hello, what can I do for you today?”

Doing another Starter call to be on the safe side; and the fact that I kinda want activity to be up and running again before the activity check. Capping at 3, and willing to plot with new characters.

           “ .. I’d love to try the mint .. p-please.. ! “

          Though her voice still somewhat timid, the winged deity offers the older female a bright smile as she invites herself inside, offering small thanks for the invitation as she makes her way towards the kitchen. She glances down at the serpent whom has followed them in, smiling gently when he slithers towards the fresh bowl where he can refresh himself.

           “ .. I always love coming here, “ she adds after a moment, a genuine smile playing at her lips. “ It’s.. It’s so peaceful. “

“I’m glad you like it here, Aerith. Though I will admit at times it’s too quiet.” She opened the cupboard and took out some dried flower petals. Clipping off the leaves of her mint plants, she set a kettle of water onto the stove afterwards, letting it heat up. 

“It gets lonely here aside from the patients from time to time. Axius is nice to have around and all, but one can’t exactly talk with a snake as much as you love them.” The python lifted his head upon hearing his name.

We’re back~

As of this moment, our hiatus is over. We still don’t have a computer desk, however I have found a means to make responses without straining my back too much. Thus said, We are having a starter call capping at 2! I need to get back into the rhythm of this place before I take on the other threads, so please understand!

“I always did love Aquariums....They’re so fantastical in their own way.” Aenta walks along the glass walls with the younger Goddess. It was very rare when Aenta had the downtime to do something like this; but since the patient flow was small this week, it was a little treat to herself to bring someone along with her and enjoy the aquatic life she wouldn’t have been able to enjoy otherwise.

           “ .. !! “

          Though her mind had been preoccupied on the serpent that had slowly slithered back to the female beside her ( she wasn’t as frightened as another may of been, but being given such straightforward attention was somewhat unnerving, even if it was from an animal ), the sudden offer of spending the rest of the afternoon inside over something to drink caught her attention.

           “ Yes, please .. “ she says, a smile brimming on her face as she gives a small nod, hastily getting to her feet and removing the gloves she’d been wearing. “ .. I always love your tea .. thank you so much .. “

          Aerith finds her cheeks growing warm in the summer sunshine and she beams at the older deity, gesturing for her to lead them inside. “ .. I can help you clean up too .. “

“Thank you for the offer; it’s appreciated.” Aenta smiled as she opened the door to her house, the cool air inside welcoming them in. Axius slithered back to his cage where it was still warm and welcoming to him. 

“Is there any preference as to what kind you’d like? I just recently harvested some Mint that you could try.” She adds on, refilling Axius’s water bowl before coming back out into the Kitchen.

          It didn’t seem like it would take much time for the herbs they planted to flourish, but the divine messenger couldn’t help but feel enthusiastic. She had been forming a habit of cooking lately with an array of different spices, but she’d never had a hand in growing them – she was fortunate enough that the older blonde was willing to share her techniques. 

          The winged deity smiles up towards Aenta, preparing another shy bout of gratitude, before something catches her attention from the corner of her eyes. Her head tilts in the direction of the serpent approaching the two females, head bobbing with interest.

           “ .. H-Hello, “ she says to the python, offering him a shaky smile as she says her timid greeting. She wasn’t frightened by such a beast, but it still was a little unnerving to be int he presence of one. “ It’s nice to .. see you again. “

Aenta chuckled at her pet’s curiosity towards the younger goddess. 

“It’s alright, Aerith. Axius won’t hurt anyone.” She said gently, the Python raising up to examine her further. He tilts his head, taking notice of her wings before slithering back to his owner. Climbing up onto her and coiling around her body, the goddess of healing pets his head. 

“Now then, shall we go inside and cool down some? I’ll make some iced teas for the both of us.”

           “ .. I’m glad. “

          The younger deity finds herself breathing a sigh of relief as the other female inspects her work before providing her with a seal of approval. It wasn’t difficult to assume she was unfamiliar with cultivating, but ti didn’t mean she wasn’t going to strive in order to assist in any way she could. 

          It was an honor ( and a privilege, might she add ) that the blonde allowed her to work in the garden. 

           “ Thank you.. for letting me help you.. with this. D-Do you think they will sprout soon .. ? “ she asks, cerulean orbs focused on the soil as she smiles sweetly. She’d always been fond of the herbs grown here, but now that she had lent a hand in their growth, she felt they’d be even more delicious – or well, so she had hoped.

Aenta smiles at the question. “Come in the next month or so. They’re still plants that need time, after all. But in a month they will be sprouting sooner than expected; this is very rich soil, after all.” Aenta got up and brushed her hands off of the dirt. Her python Axius nodded his head to confirm this, slithering up to Aerith gently. For him, being outside in the summer was quite a treat, as he was used to being inside most of the time. The snake flickered his tongue at her, curious.

Family is another important part of Aenta’s life. Having been fond of her Father Apollo in her previous life, Aenta hates seeing parents suffering the fate of losing their child to anything. That said she loves children and would love to have a few of her own someday when she feels it’s the right time.

Aenta takes friendship VERY seriously. Her Bloodlust is rooted from the fact people will try to hurt her and those she deeply cares about. Those who manage to incur her wrath WILL face consequences, and she won’t be pushed around simply because she’s the Goddess of Healing. That said, she’s very gentle with her friends and will do whatever it take to get them happy again or call them out on whatever shenanigans they brought up.
