Hello! Can I have a scenario about MC getting pregnant, but discovers after she and S/O break-up, and she decides to raise it alone for the all of the incubi, and Saero, Sergeant, and Shadow, and they find out years later?
James: The first thing he asks upon being told he had a child was ask if she needed any money for child support. James was dead serious too; he hadn’t been around for the first few years of their child’s life, the least he could do was pay her back for everything she’d done to keep the kid safe and healthy. After that, he asks her if she would allow him to be a bigger part of their child’s life, even if the two of them never end up getting back together.
Erik: It’s a little petty, but he almost wants to continue not being a part of his child’s life just to spite his ex. There’s a part of him that wonders if she did this because she thought he wouldn’t be a good father. Another part of him wants to prove her wrong by being an even better parent than she is. Erik is on the dangerous verge of spoiling his child rotten at this rate, undoing all the good she’d already taught them.
Sam: For a moment, he’s almost angry with his ex for keeping his child a secret for so many years. How did she expect him to feel when she finally revealed the existence of his child? He certainly didn’t feel like the greatest person in the world. In fact, Sam was feeling more and more like a dead beat father after being told how many important milestones he’d already missed in his child’s life. He was turning out to be just as there for his kid as his father was.
Matthew: There are so many years for him to catch up on! As if he could make up for all the years in one day, Matthew goes full ham with trying to know every little thing about his kid. It crushes him knowing he wasn’t able to be around as that fatherly figure, knowing that it must’ve been detrimental to their growth. With his ex’s permission, he wants to see if he can have his kid stay with him on the weekends at least.
Damien: He had thought of himself as the type of person to instantly be connected to his child, but that was a lot easier said than done; especially when his child had been kept a secret from him for most of their life. Despite wanting to be more in the picture, Damien finds it hard to connect with anything his kid says and does. He starts thinking maybe it had been the right decision to keep them a secret and he just wasn’t cut out to be a dad.
Saero: After finding out that he had a child that he wasn’t around for for the first few years of their life, something seems to strike a chord with Saero. His parents had never been there for him, being forbidden and all, so he had barely grown with that parental figure. It’d been a while since he’d sworn to himself that he wouldn’t do the same for his own child and, even though he was separated from the mother, he swore to keep that promise.
Shadow: He doesn’t feel at fault when she finally confesses to him that she’d bore his child. It had been her decision to keep the offspring a secret and rightfully so; without a soul, Shadow didn’t have the paternal empathy needed to be any sort of father to a growing child. If she wants him to be there for the kid, he will be, but there will be no difference in the way he acts with them than how he acts with everyone else.
Sergeant: It was commonplace in his demonic species for the women to take care of the young while the men took care of other things, so Sergeant doesn’t really understand why she’s so hesitant in introducing him to his kid. Though there isn’t much of a relationship between him and her anymore, he still acts like a good father once he realizes he does have a child, just how his father had done when he was discovered as well.
