Oh a bit of rain to start things off eh. I missed out in the heavy possibly minor flooding rainfall that was supposed to happen last night... bummer. So summer is finally winding down,oh what's that you say there's a few weeks of August left. Welp according to good portion of retailers it's back to school season. Of course that pitch started in June heh heh heh. Once again coworkers tried to get me on the game of moans bandwagon ummm no. Enough of this time for random tweets....

Ok it's Monday

Started up my Netflix subscription once again so I catch the new episode of Voltron among other things,dear black people,D.C. Legends of yada yada yada,etc. What's on your watchlist? Yesterday's extended workday was anticlimactic sort of. Running the board for talk based shows is a bit different as in they talk for longer periods of time and you're screening calls. Not really enough time to enjoy the content but I'm not there as a listener.

It's Sunday

Kind of nice out here,borderline fall like for an early August Sunday morning. How about that rain yesterday? As usual no hail or nightmare inducing thunder lightning n wind. Made some waffles yesterday. Some is an understatement. More like a double batch. Every time I make waffles I also wind I had two waffle irons/maker thingee just to speed up the process. It's Sunday and the work day will be longer because I'm a nice guy...wtf

And then Thursday shows up like a major plot twist. Well not really a major plot twist just another day in the week. Rooster is still sleeping yup. Bright orange is the color of today's polo. So the ripta bus driver can see me at the bus stop and a random conversation starter...hey jim that's a bright polo and I'll make a witty comment about the brightness contrasting with my dark skin color. And the over thinking continues.

Wuh wednesday

Hmmm like the mists in a valley. That's the was the view of the highway as we went over it the other day. According to the weather apps, we may see some scattered thunderstorms this morning. Still hopping for the one that has the excess amount of wind n hail. Usually by the time they reach south providence it's just heavy rain...yay heavy rain. You could do soo much better Mother Nature. Why do you always wuss out in these parts oh well. Have you continued the countdown to the weekend? Why?

Ahh Tuesday

Hhmmm a bit more humidity in the air. What great way to start the day yup. August usually is the month where the humidity really kicks it up a notch. Let's see if that happens this year. Anything interesting happen to you yesterday at home it umm at work. There was a black lives matter protest outside our building, yeah that happened. I work at a radio station cluster. Luckily for me my shift was ending so I got to see the small group of protesters and the east providence police presence. Yeah traffic was slowed down and the barrington police officers stayed in their SUVs. And then some of the protestors went on the air on the news talk station. Yep Funtime on a Monday,l listened to the full show which was a huge commitment on my part....

Hi there

Caught up on SYFY channels' Killjoys finally. Dark Matter I was caught up til the beginning of the new season oh well will have to wait til the whole season is over n then binge it. Monday is here are you ready? Any plans? Or are you just going to the day by day type of thing. What happens happens. As I mentioned before I keep things vague. Lowered expectations and all that. I do believe my coworkers on the morning show are heading out of town towards the end of the week,that will make things interesting. Did I mention that I enjoy being out of the loop on things,it's hellah inspirational. Good Morning.

Um it's Sunday

Yep the wind has calmed down a bit and it's a cool start to things. It's supposed to reach 80 today so folks may actually stop saying what happened to summer, yeah right. Oh the red white n blue striping on Broad st is for the Dominican heritage thingee or something like that. According to the mayors email newsletter there will be a ceremony and then in a couple of weeks the Dominican festival n parade will take place. They'll probably detour the R Line n prairie st buses to eddy st. That will be an interesting journey home.

Oh Saturday

Did you "survive" your work week, (for those of you who have a regular work week) Are you celebrating the weekend? Yeah it's pretty exciting up here in these parts currently hellah breezy cloudy n cool right here in Providence Rhode Island (cheap pop). I sat outside for a bit and updated the yard work plan of attack. It felt good hearing the wind blowing through the trees in the hood. Did you make any plans for today? Or are you doing what I do and keeping things vague, going with the flow etc. Yeah that's about it for now ( as if I'm going to post something later hah!)

Can you walk away

Have you ever considered walking away from everything? Your family, friends your job your way of life? It's a major decision. Would it be something planned out or a spur of the moment type of thing. The walking away thing could be tied in with winning the lottery I guess. That whole just enough to be comfortable takes on a different meaning. Have you thought about a destination? Another city or town,another state or country? Would it be easy to disappear? Delete your social media even though nothing really is deleted on the internet. What would be the reason for your "walk away"....

So no one won the powerball n mega millions jackpots yet which means they go up til someone wins. The usual what would you do if you won talk always comes up. But how much money would it take to comfortable for the rest of your life...hmmm

Welp it's Wednesday

The tree next door is shedding bark at a ridiculous rate. Trying to figure if it was this bad last year or something new. At least the sizeable pine tree across the street hasn't started with the year rain of needles yeah that's always a fun time. Oh wow it's the "middle" of the week if you pay attention to stuff like that. Are you one of those types that start the "countdown" to the weekend? I see they did some striping overnight on broad st...red white n blue hmmm. Other randomness...rooster spotted perched on fence sleeping.

What does a Tuesday feel like? I always ask that question. It weird because it's the same question every Tuesday. Other days of the week have a distinctive feel but tuesdays to me are just a bit off. Hmmm

The work week begins once again for some folks. Did you enjoy the weekend? At what point did it sink in that your escape from reality was ending? Unless your one of those types that see the work week as "magical" fantasy. Embrace the joy of emails the require your immediate attention, the over the top banter of coworkers who's weekend was nothing special as they go into detail of their non stop adventure at local bars and other spots (whoah this is starting to slide into posts from a few years back) Good morning it's was a bit cooler yesterday n this morning yet folks still had the AC on yep. And the mega million & powerball jackpots continue to rise. If you won the jackpot is there one thing you wouldn't do? Hmmmm

Uh Sunday

What do you consider your comfort zone? Yeah another one of those random thoughts that popped into my head the other day. How many times have you "stepped" outside of it? Did you discover any new about yourself or were you extremely freaked out. I'm trying to think about the last time I stepped out of my comfort zone. Was it the whole taking two days off because I never take days off or the multiple bus ride thing w grocery shopping...hmmm. When will be the next journey out of the "comfort" zone ? Did a wee bit of yard work yesterday morning so the front yard doesn't have that abandoned property look. Still getting used to seeing the fence and ground beneath it. Next thing on the list, the hedges n weeds on the side of the house. Yeah that thing growing outside of the kitchen window is a bit much.

Yep Friday

What's your daily routine,ritual? Have you ever thought of changing it up? Or do you just want to play it safe and not rock the boat. Well these postings are a change in the routine. Usually I tweet out a few things add to my snap story and insta story etc. But one morning I didn't feel like it and I'm not at pay grade at work where I have to so I said eff it and stopped for a bit. And since I needed to distract my mind from other things on the "joyful" journey to work I figured I'd start posting on my various Tumblr's again. Yep I got a few. How you doin?
