【 So, I sent in an ask for a hiatus, as I’m not feeling particularly well. I came down with a very obnoxious and bad flu so I’m putting a few characters on hiatus to help me keep my stress down and so I can focus on getting better.

She had expected such a reaction from her sweet lovely friend. She had always been such a cute delicate thing- Wait, cute? Applejack held Fluttershy at arm’s length, taking in that bright flush that often called the girl’s cheeks home. “My, look at ya, red as a strawberry on a hot spring day.” She gave a little laugh and wrapped her arms around the other once again.
“What Ah mean is, Ah ain’t seen ya in too, too long, Fluttershy. Ah thought maybe you’n Ah could go out together? Do somethin’?” Hopefully, the small ting of red upon her own cheeks weren’t too obvious. The simple act of standing in front of her friend sent her heart into overdrive, her thoughts were a jumbled mess, and everything faded away except for Fluttershy. Only Fluttershy remained, and Applejack was fine with it. She softly stroked the girl’s back. “Whadda ya say, partner?”
The girl stayed frozen, not sure why her friend was acting this way or why she was touching her so much. Applejack was always more confident and hands on than her but, this was much different from usual. The comment about her face only made her blush worse, however.
“W-well...you could have just asked or texted me. Of course I'd love to go out somewhere!” She relaxed a bit, but noticed AJ's red cheeks. What did that mean? Was she embarrassed? She couldn't figure out why she would be embarrassed or why her cheeks were red. She just wanted to hang out per usual, right? Again she froze as a hand stroked her back. With a small nervous laugh, she stepped just enough away from it to not be rude, but not have it touch her any more.
“I, uhm, I know this really lovely cafe down the street. It reminds me a lot of the one back home. If...we can find it again. I...uhm, think maybe you can find things easier here with your phone but... O-or, we could always go to another sector. Do...do you have any place in mind? The parks in sector six are nice as well. I went there with Sunset shimmer before, we had a picnic.” Why was it suddenly so awkward to talk to her friend? "Are you sure you're feeling well, Applejack?"

One moment, Applejack ran into a swarm of the cutest little ladybugs, their tiny bodies tickling her as she tried to move past them, the next moment a painful bite shocked her shoulder and brought her world into a new light. She shook her head to try and clear it and as her vision focused, her darling friend came into view.
“Fluttershy?” She ran up to the pink haired girl and brought her into one of her lesser intense hugs. “Ah’ve been missin’ ya.” She whispered against that soft hair and kissed the top of her head.
Fluttershy had been surprised by her friend suddenly coming up to her. It wasn't so much that she appeared, they lived in the same sector and they were friends even before the city so it wasn't that far off that they'd meet up. The thing that surprised her most was the sudden hug, and how it was less rough than usual. But what really shocked her was the kiss to the top of her head.
“A-Applejack? W-what...” She cleared her throat, freezing in her arms awkwardly as her face turned a bright red. “W-what do you mean you've missed me? We...we live right next door to each other... Are...are you okay?”
In a way, it was like looking into a really weird mirror. Was this how he acted…?
Rubbing his upper arm, he gave a goofy smile. How else was he supposed to react? It wasn’t everyday someone was so nice to him, after all. Most of the time, someone glared, called him a nerd and stormed off.
He tilted his head a bit when she mentioned the game. It didn’t sound familiar to him. Maybe it was just where she came from? He shrugged it off. “Sounds like it was really cute. I think I know a few other games you might like, if you had fun with that one.”
Eugene perked up bit. Sector one? “Uh- Actually, that won’t be much trouble at all! I live in Sector six. I can drop you off then head home- If that’s alright with you, I mean.”
Scuffing one of her shoes against the ground, she smiled at the goofy smile he had, finding it endearing. She knew he probably wasn't used to people being nice, she could see it since she had the same thing going on for her. This must have been as awkward for him as it was for her. She hoped she didn't make him feel uncomfortable or anything.
“I think my friend would probably hate that you called her game cute.” She laughed a bit. “The bunny was...just one of the characters you could choose, I think. But I really wouldn't mind if you had cute games to play!”
Hearing that it wouldn't be too troublesome to drop her off relieved her a bit, even if she still felt a little bad. She still wasn't used to the idea of someone wanting to help her. “Oh, that would be very nice, as long as it doesn't bother you. You can lead the way, uhm, if you'd like. Also...I don't think I got your name?”
”Haha! Trust me, I’m not a bad person. Or at least I don’t think I am.” Tadashi shrugged, waving his hand to pass the thought. The girl’s honesty didn’t bother him in the slightest. They were in a bit of an odd position, after all. It’s not every day a complete stranger offers you a tupperware of cupcakes.
"Oh, here, lemme help you with that!" He lifted the lid, giving the girl a better view of the treats. Her words were rather uplifting, and he could feel his ego rising already. He knew he was okay at the craft, but her comments made him feel as though he underestimated himself. He had a bad habit of doing that. Regardless, the fact that she was interested in taking them was more than enough. He would have to thank her appropriately someday. Hopefully in something other than cupcakes.
”Looks like your friend and I have a lot in common,” Tadashi joked, glancing at the extra cupcakes in his hand. “But… ah. Thank you.” His voice suddenly became quiet, bashful. With his free hand, he shyly scratched his temple and added a sheepish laugh. “I try. Good to know it doesn’t go to waste. And I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it eventually! Hopefully the biggest mistake you’ll make in terms of baking is, uh… Well, this.” He gestured to the extra cupcakes. “But besides this, I got a couple other tricks of my sleeve. I’m pretty nifty with robotics, I guess. But that’s not really culinary-related. Still,” he continued, "you said you’re not too great at baking. There’s gotta be something you’re good at. So, stranger girl, what amazing things can you do?”
At the word usage of “stranger girl,” a surprised expression appeared on the older Hamada’s face; the kind that only showed up as if you forgot something. “Oh! So this doesn’t get any more awkward, I’m Tadashi. There. Now you know my name, and you can comfortably take these.” He grinned. “Plus, someone who might’ve poisoned these wouldn’t share their name so openly like this, would they?” That last remark was a jab at the fact she thought him to be a bad person.
“O-oh, well...you seem very kind to me.” She looked off to the side awkwardly, embarrassed that she'd said any of that still. As the lid was taken from the cupcakes, however, she looked back to him then to the little cakes. She gently stuck the tip of her pointer finger in to swipe a bit of frosting from the side of one of them to taste it. Her face lit up a bit, but she didn't speak yet, choosing to listen to him speak.
A smile crossed her lips again as she watched his bashfulness. It was adorable to see, actually, as most of her friends were usually so confident in themselves. “Oh! Well, actually she's sort of in the city. She's not exactly the same friend from my own universe but she's the same person but...from a different universe and...also she's a...pony.” For a moment, she looked off to the side again, realising she probably sounded crazy. “But, uhm, you two would probably get along really well. She really loves meeting new people and all.”
“Robotics?!” The girl glanced back up at him, surprise across her face. “Oh my goodness, you must be very smart then! That's really amazing, what...exactly do you do?” Her stance shifted at the next words out of his mouth, chin tilting down and away from him.
“O-oh...well, I've always wanted to learn how to bake, but I've just been to shy to ask...a-and I'm not...very amazing at much. I'm really great with animals though.” There was no way she would state her other hobbies to someone she just met, it was hard enough to even tell her own friends she'd known for a while now. Besides, she didn't figure she was that amazing at any of them anyway.
At the reminder of how she'd subtly accused him of poisoning baked goods, her face turned red out of embarrassment again. “It's n-nice to meet you, Tadashi. I'm...uhm, Fluttershy.” She once again hid behind her hair, glancing up at him. “The...the cupcakes are very delicious. If you want to...if it isn't much of a bother, you could come to my apartment and eat some with me too. I can make some tea or...something.”

In a quick movement, Fluttershy rushed toward the girl and hit her with her hip to shove her out of the way. It wasn't a very friendly motion and she used more force than she normally would have. Leaning down and picking up a little heart covered ladybug, she snapped her head toward the other, glaring at her.
"I can't believe you were about to crush this poor defenceless little bug. How dare you! You think you can just step on whoever you want? You must be heartless!"

In the early morning, Fluttershy awoke to find several of the cutest little ladybugs on her blankets. Lifting one onto her finger, she examined it closer and found it was even cuter than a normal ladybug. It even had little hearts on it. Was this some form of insect only found in the city? The girl yawned and stretched before making her way carefully to show her room mate, Satori. She figured she might want to see the little bug, but as she approached the other girl it bit her finger and she suddenly couldn't remember what she had been doing.
Oh, right! She was just going to speak with her wife. What about? She somehow couldn't remember clearly. So she stood there awkwardly for a moment instead before leaning forward to place a gentle kiss on her cheek.
“Good morning! What were we making to eat? I think the kids are probably hungry, at least I know Angel is. Oh, and there are all these adorable little bugs here. I didn't know the city had its own species of insects too.”

Gittel beamed, "I want to give you a nickname, but yours is so nice!" She stated, however, she couldn’t verbally pronounce it. "I’m going to call you blossom because of how pretty you are."
She blushed at little bit at the return complement, "I’m four years old, I’m a big girl!"
“Oh my goodness, that is a very pretty nickname. Thank you.” Still, she wasn't used to being called pretty so frequently or...at all. Was she? Well, they did say children often told the truth. But she still wasn't ready to believe it just yet.
“Four? Oh...that's so young.” She paused, not sure how to deal with children, but that probably wasn't what she should say if she said she was a big girl. “Well, you are a big girl, aren't you? If you're out on your own. Do you...do you have anyone with you? Even big girls need someone to protect them, right?”
Fluttershy-mun, let me tell you a couple of things. 1. you are an excellent fluttershy you are an excellent rper, you know what, take your care of yourself but if anyone is making your life harsh you know what, flip them your middle finger cause god damn it! You guys are great you know that, and if people harass you then by all means just tell the mods cause it's painful to watch good people go down, you're a wonderful human being. and we care for you ok?
I honestly keep reading this over and i keep crying, tbh. thank you this is so very kind, anon. ;H; i am trying to take care of myself, i just have a lot of stress piled on top of being a little depressed now so i made myself sick and i keep passing out from stress. but i'm trying to take care of myself, so i hopefully can write on all my characters tomorrow, i really hope. I just feel very isolated right now here.

Don't worry, it's fine to be slow if you aren't feeling up to writing- RPing is all about having fun. Don't worry about your portrayal- as long as you're having fun, there's no problem. You could send a semi-hiatus notice if it'd ease the pressure.

Also, it's not so much worrying about portrayal, but I probably will worry more now lmao, but more like just the characetr in general?? if that makes a sense?? probabl y not, but i'm rly sick right now so i'm not sure how much sense i make in general. 【Ugh, I'm so sorry for being really inactive/slow in general on this account and my other characters too. I've been really depressed so it gets really hard to write lately. And I'm having that feeling where I'm not even sure if people even like Fluttershy here?? So it's double hard to write for her specifically.
