Battlefield

The brief moments by myself

Where I can be alone with the birds chirps and the feeling of sunlight touching my bare arms, or a nap that simply lasts way too long,

This is my escape.

When home became my battlefield

The place where yells are heard.

The place where anger has become the normal pace

For now it is only the house of sorrow and tear shed.

A week on and off

A glimpse of hope.

Hope for something better than this.
