Six bowls of udon, three bowls of soba, five bowls of katsudon, two bowls of ramen. Tea green hues sparkled with delight at the feast laid out before her, hands rubbing together in anticipation of her meal. Lithe digits reach out, carefully picking up her chopsticks before she begins tucking in. Normally it would be Iguro-san taking her out to a meal, as the other pillars couldn't fathom her appetite, but of course, he wasn't here right now, so Mitsuri was glad she could find a like minded friend.
Seated across from her was a young girl, auburn tresses nearly obscured by the stack of plates in front of her, piled high with meat. Their friendship had begun simply enough, both expressing delight at a food stall's generous selection, and from then on it was history. She hadn't been on the island for long, but already Alice was becoming something akin to a little sister to her.
She's finished five bowls already before something is suddenly thrust into her point of view and she looks up from her meal, surprised. Alice is smiling proudly, brandishing a chicken wing in offering to the pillar like a token of gratitude. Delicate features light up in a smile as she gently reaches over to pat the girl on the head, voice cheerful.

It was not often Mitsuri found herself in the Butterfly Estate, her own district too far removed from Shinobu's to visit often, but sometimes the situation called for it. This was one of those times, a rare moment where she was injured enough in battle to warrant a visit to her fellow Pillar.
The battle had been over quickly, dispatching the pair of demons with ease, but not before she was ambushed by a third. Three on one wasn't fair battle, they should have brought more to face her if they had wanted to stand a chance against her. Still, one of them had managed to land a hit, a poisonous one at that, and it had sent her to the estate once their heads left their shoulders.
Mitsuri gave a slight wince as the young woman began stitching the wound closed, special antitoxins applied beforehand. It didn't hurt as badly as receiving the wound itself, but it was still an uncomfortable sensation to experience. Tea green hues gazed at the other's delicate features, eyebrows knitted in concentration as she patched the wound on her leg.
Admiration welled up in the pit of her stomach at the sight of her fellow Pillar hard at work. She was so delicate yet strong, always ready to cut down a demon or lend a helping hand. Like a butterfly spreading its wings, she was grace embodied. Simply put, Shinobu was just the coolest!
