Do people know or suspect that Tom Riddle is the leader of the Death Eaters or are most people still in the dark about everything?

               people suspect that tom is lord voldemort however there’s not much evidence around their suspicions, so there’s not much they can accuse of. at least that’s what i believed what was discussed !! i’ll go ahead and ask once more !! i apologize, my memory is all over the place.
