2.Raising a baby together for three days

Tiffany looked down at the baby for a while, slight shock in her eyes at it. “it’s mine is it?…I don’t really want a child out of marriage.” she added before picking it up gently. “I don’t even know how to raise a child..I’m only seventeen.” she bite her lip hard, causing it to bleed, as she placed the child back in the basket. “I’m not the right person for this.”

"B-Big scary—!!" Hmph! This girl. Didn’t she know Ace was just adorable? (From his point of view)? He sighed. “I don’t get it. It’s fine to just kill it even so, don’t you think?” Without saying anymore and the baby finally calming down (slightly)… the knight went to the door and opened it, motioning her to come over. “Forget it. We’ll go together.”

"it’ll be easier." she sighed, as she held the baby close to her. Natural paternal insticts kicking in. "I didn’t mean to offend you. Just some tall person with a sword is probably scary to a baby." she said softly, a small smile on her face. "please don’t be offended. "

The knight raised his eyebrows at her apologizing—actually, it felt kind of good to be apologized to than do the apologizing for once. “Oh, did I seem mad?” There it was, the usual idiotic airy smile. If one could think of anime flowers, they’d be around his head, if possible. “Don’t think of it, okay? Heh~” He seemed weirdly happy. But, no matter, the knight made sure the girl followed him closely through the first period of time through the woods. When the sky started to turn it’s typical orangey-self, he spoke out to her. “—Wait. Listen, do you hear that?”

"hear what?" she asked, and looked up at him. A frown on her face. "I can only hear you…and the child. " she smiled a little. However she did try to listen to what he could hear. "What do you think it is?"

"Stay back," his tone suddenly serious, unsheathing his sword. A bush began to rustle, and as a few tense moments passed, he was about to lunge for it when--

"Aah..." The knight sighed, putting his sword away. With a quick movement, he picked the small creature up by it's ears, it wriggling in the air. "It's just this thing. Shall we eat it?"

  ‘Is she mad?’ he thought briefly, before she spoke again. Seems not. Annoyed, surely, but that was typical of anyone who was in 300-ft of the knight, so he didn’t really catch it from her. “Ah, just the usual. The castl—… ah, ouch—..” When he took a step to come closer to her, his left leg seemed to limp; causing him to accidentally fall to Alice a little—he grabbed her shoulder briefly, then stood on his own again. “I must have gotten more injured then I thought coming here, ahaha~”

"A-Ace, are you alright?!" Alice stammered out, both because she had begun to worry about the Knight’s state of health and because of how close he had been. "God, we’ll have to take care of that wound…."

"Ahaha!" The knave rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "No, no no. It's just fine. Just do not let your Mafia friends at me, and maybe it's that I won't die~" He teased her, patting her shoulder lightly. "We heal differently than you Outsiders do. Well, us with faces do. It is clear that hmm ~ at least, this one who caused this--" He pointed to his bleeding leg. "--didn't. Ahahaha~" (stupid, airy laughter commencing).

(waves a hand up, an enthusiastic smile on his face) If it isn't the Queen herself ~ ((hello!!! ;v;))

"Ace," she huffed. In all honesty she was confused as to what he was doing here at the moment, but he lived within the castle as well. So, she supposed she couldn’t be too surprised. "You seem happier to see us then normal."

“Alice is the one who told me, anyway. I never really noticed before myself. See these two here?” He pointed his thumb back to two nearly-identical looking guards. “They’ve got totally different lives, but they got the privilege of serving her Majesty. Ain’t that something? Hehe.” The guards looked uneasy, and it seemed like one opened his mouth to speak, but decided against it. Good choice.

“Aww~ that’s still cruel, just like you’re saying! Aren’t I your loyal knight~?”

"Hm, Alice does noticed the most interesting things." Vivaldi wasn’t sure how it was the outsider managed to notice so much. It was probably just because she was an outsider they were quite odd as a general whole. It was part of the appeal in Vivaldi’s opinion. "Hm, this is true," she nodded her head in agreement. 

"Loyal knight?" The queen laughed. “You get lost far too much to be our loyal knight. You are never truly around when we need you.”

"I am curious about her society, but she seems to always brush me off. As if she is hiding something. Her face gives her away." He took another sip from his cup, a bit too high above his head, but somehow managed to not spill the tea like a buffoon. It might seem as if this is a practiced trick... he has too much free time... "Ta-da~."

"Aw, I know you can manage without me~. Peter-san does all the heavy-lifting, without even lifting a finger!"

{This voice- Brandy couldn’t help feeling a rather cold chill running down her spine, mind clouding with the sinful memories of what had occurred between them; It was so…disgusting, loathsome and yet her whole body still could remember each touch of the man, each moment of his scarlet eyes peering into hers with that lustful glimmer and the way woman’s whole being slowly was pushed deeply into the spiraling nothingness. How low she had fallen to yearn for this kind of caress- Hatteress fluttered her eyelids shut to regain a calm and collected facial expression before turning on her heels towards the brown-haired, eyes looking sharply and rather coldly if not counting the faint evidence of that remaining fire that burnt somewhere deep beyond the azure orbs}

“Found me, huh? You are lost again, aren’t you?”{Dupre folder shapely arms across her chest; as if she wished to hide away from this look of his and the way the knight’s lips spread into that familiar cheeky teasing grin. She could swear that if he tries to pull out something similar she will more than surely not hesitate to slap him- Although mafioso tried not to focus on that possibility as it was far too triggering-}

"Oh, but I am~ Your stupid guards tried to keep me away again, but those little ((((beep)))) are still looking around, and so--" He looked to her cheerfully, but also, pitifully. He is pitiful, to say the least. "--Please hide me! I know that your words will not stop them, and I am already injured ♥~" 

But he isn't all that injured, this was nothing to him, but by pure stroke of luck or whatever gods were in their strange world watching over their strange country of Hearts, the Knave of Hearts found the back entrance to the rose garden, where he had found two little boys swinging their weapons happily at one another. When he asked if he could join-- wack!!! Of course~ Typical play time with the twins. But, this was training you know, training. Very typical of the knight.

With just a few strides (oh, so injured, huh?) he went behind her, carefully touched her side of her neck with the palm of his hand, a gentler plea behind her ear, albeit a bit playful. "Plea~se~." (Oh, he did not forget their day together for sure).

“Att, att…” The knight sighed, removing the hood of his bloody cape off his head; tossing the bag full of bloodied clocks to his side. Removing the mask, there seemed to be a bit of dark rings under his eyes. “I’m tired, you know! I’ve been lost for too damn long now! But if I found you… maybe I’m closer than I thought, heh~” Ace smiled his usual airy smile to her. “But I can’t say you’re my favorite person to have tea with, still; it has been some time since we last saw one another.”  

“Mm… to be honest, I usually like being lost like this for time on end, but even a cool guy like me can get worn down… ahaha~”

       Oh this guy. How rare to see him like that. Bloody, huh? Just like her own eyes, and his too, of course. 

            “You tired, my little knight? I can only say that my house is near, as you know, and you can rest there. But you need to clean up a bit, those bloody clocks are sure dirty~”

    A foxy smile appeared on her face. She wasn’t scared of blood, she didn’t find those bloody clock and his appearance disgusting. Apparently, she found them charming in some way. Maybe she should be called ‘Mad Caterpillar’? Or ‘Bloody Caterpillar’? Nah, that really bad. 

                    “Yes. A lo-o-ong time. Even March Hare and Hatter were here more than you. Pretty annoying, you know. With all his screams and gunshots. Mafia are sure loud. Ah, but I’m glad that you are still  a l i v e  and smiling like always. That feels kinda nostalgic now~. So, will you come to my house?”

"... Mm... you know Miss Caterpillar, it is only by luck and fate that our paths cross right now~..." the knight gave a dry smile, a small bead of sweat forming on his cheek, but his smile did not fade. He walked a bit closer to her as she spoke, nodding and humming a bit as he tossed his weapon to the side as well. There is no need for it here, and if he had to fight her physically (as unlikely as it was), he had trust in his own strength. Right, right... She always did have such an upper-hand on Ace, it seemed.

"Little knight,hmm... You taunt me so. Shall I prove I'm a man to you?" A bit of a long moment passed.

"--Just kidding, heh~ ♥" (This dumbass) Knight waved his hand non-nonchalantly, sitting next to feet in an abrupt manner. "I do not need to stay for a long time. You know how we heal. Julius gets madder each time period I take to come back. As for mafioso, they are nothing but germs. And just like germs, they can be cleansed, but they will come back again. So there's no need for them. They conduct business in places they think are secret, but everyone knows of you. I tried to take a short-cut, but I found you instead. Like I said! Luck, luck~"

*Fumbling with a map, and accidentally bumps into her!* ((I owed you a starter! So here is something quite lame and short! ;v;))

 ”Whoa, sir, are you okay?” BB swayed a little. She titled her head and saw the map. “I’m sorry to ask this, but are you lost?”

"Oopf… sorry about that." Ace mumbled, patting at his cloak lightly, as if wiping dust away. "Hmm..? Oh!" The knight smiled brightly down at the young girl. "Yep… got me."

 ”That’s okay. And where do you need to go, sir?”

"This office… here." He points a gloved finger to what seems like some sort of municipal building. "This country is huge though, so I’m not sure if I made it to Regale properly…" Ace scratches his head a bit sheepishly.

 ”Oh no, you are here in Regale. And the Society of Powers?” BB folder her hands together. “Do you have need with anyone over there?”

He let out a relieved sigh.  "Phew… I thought I was far away." Tapping his chin and looking to the sky in thought, he said, "Hmm, I don’t know if I should tell you…" the knight looked quickly back to the young girl again. "But I will! It’s boring, meaningless junk I don’t think you’d be interested in. Get it? Ahaha~" he pat her head. (orz|||) "I don’t know the person’s name. I only do what I’m told. Maybe you get that."

 ”Okay then.” BB ruffled her hair and put her hood on.

Following her fairly closely but with enough space between them, the knight was constantly turning his head left and right to look at everything around him. Amazing. Far more advanced than the Country of Hearts.

BB glanced behind to make sure he was still there. “…..is this your first time? In the Regale District, I mean.”

"Hmm—?" He quickly snapped out of his miniature ‘trance’. "Oh! Yeah… I never go much farther out of the Country of Hearts… as you can see.. hah." Ace placed a finger on the small heart shaped pendent on his uniform, only after lifting his cloak a little to show her.

 ”Country…of Hearts?” BB thoughtfully put her palm to her chin. “……….but that would mean you’re aren’t from around here……or any other district or region in ImagiNation……”

"Mm! You see it’s kind of a long story," he nodded like he knew everything in the universe. "Do you want to know how we are connected? Or maybe I’ll keep the secret! Ahaha~" /idiot;;;

 ”Yes, it’s not very often people come from other worlds to ImagiNation.” BB tilted her head.

"Oh, is that so? Maybe I’m special, heh..~" Oh, wait! "I mean, it’s fate! Don’t you know that kind of thing? Ahehehe~"

 ”Huh?” BB raised an eyebrow and turned around, her arms crossed. “…..I don’t believe in a thing such as fate. If that existed, then I wouldn’t…..nevermind, I need to go anyway. Bye Sir Knight~” she waved over her shoulder as she turned around once more, and began to walk.

"…?" He made a small sound of curiousness. Why was she suddenly mad? This girl was supposed to help him.. and quite frankly, even he could see he needed it here. Ace was always ending up in weird places, but without a guide, he might never get back to the Clocktower… "Wait, a moment." The knight touched her shoulder carefully with his gloved hand. "Forget my joke. It’s nothing important. I need your help, okay!" His tone was not begging, and his expression hard to read. That smile is strange, surely.

 ”Huh?” BB glanced at the gloved hand on her shoulder, then stared down. “Why…do you need my help?” she shook his hand off and then turned around, her arms crossed. “I have to go shopping soon for dinner, so state what you want quickly, please.”

"You said you would show me around, did you not? I don't feel like asking another person, now. Maybe I am attached to you ~" There it was, that "making fun of" but not quite tone. ".. Mm, I will let you go, but just know, whatever happens might be your fault then,hm?" If his sword could shine now, it would.

"Heh, that comment doesn’t work if I’m tall and cool, you know?" The knight took a quick look around. "—Well, I don’t know! Where are we? Ahaha~"

"It’s called a hallway," she sighed, adjusting the books in her arms and casting him a sideways, annoyed glance. "You have a bad sense of direction, don’t you?"

"Maa~ .. I know that much. But I mean is, I don't know ~ I go wherever~ So now, I'm with you! You saw me first, right? So let me know, 'please'~" His please was more like a 'tell me tell me', much similar to a spoiled child.
