It’s like they spent all their budget on making the models look pretty and forgot it wasn’t a slice of life show. If I were making it, I would have squared quite a bit of the budget away for the Teresa and Priscilla fight. Either that or framed it closer to the manga with the action following Clare’s point of view and being too fast and intense for her to properly follow.
As one might have noticed, my biggest pet peeve in their action is the Teresa and Priscilla fight because Clare (a weak Warrior) has more impressive looking skills then the two strongest Warriors in history somehow?

Okaaaaaaay....he doesn’t know if he should panic or not.
He’s been captured? But not really? He’s certain Ace is just fucking with him but he hasn’t met a lot of people here. Julius has been very careful with where he goes. Only voicing his concern when Wes plans on going anywhere dangerous by himself. However, he remains by Julius side most of the time in the first place. BUT it seems like now he’s being forced to meet others now. Others like this Queen...hopefully she’s nice.
He can’t just time hop out of this anymore.

It was not unusual for Kendra to be summoned to the garden for a tea party. Vivaldi loved to show off her newest blend, which was frequently a pity since chain smoking and irrevocably damaged Kendra’s sense of taste. Still, she always enjoyed the time and the quality of the drinks.
It was then, as she was taking a sip, she heard Vivaldi’s thought and started to choke on her drink. Bright red, she set her cup down so she didn’t spill it and looked over at Vivaldi. “Wait are you serious?”
