a heat waves & helium playlist
although i'm incredibly late to the hype surrounding helium and the last few chapters of heat waves, i had recently re-found and finished reading the remaining content. i'm completely obsessed with the style of writing dakota uses and how the plot all slowly comes together.
i'm mainly posting this just to share a playlist that i think suits h! D and h! G's story because i'm hyperfixated and i need to express itðŸ˜
i'm not a big book person because i feel a lot of books are incredibly stereotypical and often doesn't portray a realistic development to the characters in the story, but somehow a FREE fanfiction on the internet has displayed more raw emotion behind a slow, immersive, and descriptive piece of digial text. The use of literary devices to describe feelings, characters, the environment; it's all beautifully tied together and i truly think these two fics deserve all the support they get.
even though it's a shame helium was discontinued right after a plot twist, i wholeheartedly respect dakota's decision and i'm glad a lot of people are understanding towards their wishes, so let's keep it that way.
