Friendship. . No matter how old we get, no matter where in the world we go, friendship binds us. . If you’re really lucky for many years. . And as women it matters doesn’t it. That we have that connection with a group of like minded souls who recognise us for who we are. . Because, ya know, sometimes you just can’t do it on your own. . Sometimes you need a helping hand, a listening ear, a good pair of shoulders, or someone to celebrate with, to share the news, to just plain old kick back, relax and catch up with. Or to be with in the silence. To laugh with, to cry with, to share with. To bring you flowers (or green tea). To give advice. To hold up a mirror. And yes sometimes to carry you. . And hopefully you get to return the favour. . And how damn lucky are we that we have them. . And in my case that they’ve waited patiently for me to get my head out of work and realise the values of really good friends....💝. .
