Hi out there! It's me, Heather! Welcome to my agere blog: here are some things you should know before following!

Twist as a age regressor and pet regressor headcanons (these headcanons may talk about Kiki being a age regressor too)! 🩷

His regression is pure: he's always happy

Twist is a middle!regressor, so his little age is around 9-12

He gets super protective of his friends, especially Kiki (who regresses younger, making her a little!regressor, but I haven't figured out her little age yet)

If Kiki is upset, he tries to get her smile by telling her funny jokes and stories, but if those don't work, he gets Marina or Shout, who are Twist's and Kiki's caregivers whenever they go into little space

I feel he's a puppy or a dog regressor, since he has tons of energy, even when he's not in little space

To burn off energy, Marina, Shout and Kiki take him to the park to run around, and play ball games, like fetch

It's rare, but if he gets upset, he gives anyone the saddest puppy dog eyes ever (in Bounce In The House, he got upset when he broke Marina's drums not once, but twice)

Enjoys cuddles, and literally tried to lay in Marina's lap once, and she couldn't move because he fell asleep

Loves to help people, even if his ideas aren't realistic ("sure, if you want to do it the easy way")

He's the happiest when he's around his friends

Guess what? I started watching a new show called Fresh Beat Band, and I love it so far! My favorite characters are Twist, Marina, Shout, Kiki, and Reed! I talked a little bit about it on my main blog, but I'm hoping to write agere stories about the characters (mostly Twist and Kiki because they seem like age regressors to me), so if you have any ideas for a story or headcanons, let me know! 🩷

🩰 reading a little one a bedtime story and watching them slowly drift off but telling me to keep reading because "m still awake!!"

🍓 making a cute plate full of age-appropriate snacks, cutting up fruit, laying out cookies and crackers

🪻 buying little snacks or toys when i'm at the store and giving them to a little one as a surprise

🐕 sleepy cuddling in a blanket fort

💫 filling up a little one's bottle/sippy or bringing them their stuffies, paci or a snack because they're either too busy playing or too comfy in their bed/crib

🍊 noticing a little one slipping but trying so hard to be all grown up, giving them the space to regress and be their little self - having a little "no, you're too small for that" moment

Hugs (little!Nina and caregiver!Scott, an Imagination Movers story)

Whenever Nina felt herself go into little space, she tells her Uncle Knit Knots she's going to The Idea Warehouse to look for something.

That's where she was now, looking for Rich, and she finds Rich in The Sports Room, getting ready to have another ping-pong rematch with Warehouse Mouse.

"Rich, cuddles?" she asked, and Rich gives Nina an apologetic look.

"Sorry, darling: I'm about to play ping-pong with Warehouse Mouse."

Nina's lower lip sticks out, a telltale sign that she was on the verge of having a tantrum.

Rich must have saw the look on Nina's face, because he quickly added:

"Maybe later, okay?" he asked, and Nina nodded, fighting back her disappointment.

"Okay."

As she walks out of The Sports Room, she sees Dave, and she bounces up to him, smiling.

"Davey, cuddles?" she asked, and she sees Dave shake his head, knowing what the answer was going to be.

"Sorry, Nina, but Smitty wants me to put a new lock on The Cheese Room: Warehouse Mouse keeps getting into The Cheese Room and taking all of the cheese. Later, okay?"

Later.

Nina was really starting to hate that word, but even in little space, she knew The Movers were busy, and couldn't always stop what they were doing.

"Okay."

"I'm really sorry, Nina."

Nina nods, and since she didn't know where Scott and Smitty were, she went back to The Think Tank, where she sat down on the couch, and hugged a pillow to her chest.

Maybe The Movers don't want to be my caregivers anymore. Maybe I bother them too much with my regression.

Even in big space, Nina struggled to not think these thoughts, even though The Movers tell her they want her around, and she has a place in The Idea Warehouse.

Before more dark thoughts could enter her mind, a voice asked:

"Nina, are you okay?"

Through her blurred vision, she could see Scott looming over her, and Nina didn't even realize she was crying.

Besides Rich, Scott was Nina's other main caregiver.

Nina shakes her head as she wipes the remaining tears.

Scott sits down beside her, and he looks at her.

"What's wrong?"

Nina opens her mouth to speak, but when no words came out, she closes her mouth, and looks at the ground.

When Scott notices this, he got the idea of using sign language (since it helped the last time that Nina was little space), but since he, Smitty and Rich were all still learning, he decided on something else.

"How about if I ask some questions, and you can shake your head or nod for yes or no."

Nina nods, and Scott smiles.

"Okay, are you hungry?"

Nina shakes her head.

"Did you want something to drink?"

Another head shake.

"Are you tired?"

Nina shakes her head again.

Scott frowns, and when he felt like he ran out of ideas on what Nina could need, he looks at her.

"Well, how about a hug? Hugs make everything better."

Nina lifts her head up when Scott said that, and she smiles.

Hugs did make everything better, and Scott gave the best hugs because he reminded Nina of a giant teddy bear.

Nina nods, and Scott opens his arms to give her a hug.

It wasn't a cuddle, but it was just as good.

And she knew something the voices inside her head didn't:

Whenever she was with The Movers, little space or not, she always felt safe, happy, and loved.

And that's what mattered the most.

Even though Catrat is good with babies and smaller kiddos (like Baby Box), I feel like he'd be a good caregiver for a middle!regressor

Need a bad guy for your story? Catrat will always volunteer (although I think he stopped being the bad guy after Dollhouse Defenders, but I could be wrong)

Gets angry if someone upsets you

He doesn't like getting wet, so he lets Mercat handle tubby time (bathtime) while he watches from a safe distance

If he's watching Baby Box and Benny, he'll have Gabby, Pandy or DJ Catnip look after you

Caregiver!Vera headcanons (request from @turbozha)! I hope you like them! 🩷

Vera sort of became your caregiver on accident: you were selling Smiley Pops, but nobody was buying from you, and you end up crying, until you hear someone ask you what's wrong

You look up to see Vera, looming over you with a concerned look, and when you tell her that nobody was buying any Smiley Pops from you, Vera decides to buy some from you, and you sort of cling to Vera after that

Vera didn't mind though: sometimes she looks after the other Kitty Rangers and Gabby (if Grandma Gigi is busy), and Chumsley is the other age regressor she looks after

Her nicknames for you are sweetheart and kitten

If Vera is busy with work, she has Chumsley and The Toppers to look after you, but since Chumsley likes to get into trouble, she has Gabby look after you instead

If she can't get anyone to look after you, she takes you with her along with Chumsley

Movie marathons (old and new movies)

She found glow in the dark stars and decorates your bedroom with them

Vera doesn't want you to lose your imagination and sparkle like she did, so she always encourages you to use your imagination

Jealousy (little!Rich and caregiver!Smitty, an Imagination Movers story)

Scott looks up from his comic book when he notices that Rich going to the kitchen, carrying the special cup that Nina had given him for smoothies.

"Do you need help, Rich?" he asked, remembering when he, Dave, Smitty, and Rich tried to make breakfast when Bernie closed his cafe before Nina took over, and Rich shook his head as he places fruit into the blender.

"I don't need help, Scottie."

Scott's worry only deepens.

The only time Rich calls him "Scottie" was when Rich was in little space, and Rich being in the kitchen while he's in little space was a bad combination.

Scott gets up from the couch, noticing that Rich was forgetting the lid to the blender (again), and goes to the kitchen.

"Let me help--"

"No, Scottie! I can do it myself!" Rich replied, pushing the button on the blender, and without the lid, smoothie went everywhere, and Scott and Rich look at the mess.

Before they could react, a voice asked:

"What happened?"

Scott and Rich looked up to see Dave, staring at the mess, and Rich glances down at the ground.

"Sorry, Davey."

Dave looks at Scott, confused.

"Davey?" he asked, and Scott looks at Dave.

"Rich is in little space."

Dave nods, and he looks at Rich.

"Rich, why don't you don't get cleaned up while Scott and I clean up the kitchen?" Dave asked, even though telling this to Rich was useless:

In little space, Rich gets easily distracted, and didn't follow what anyone says.

However, Rich nods.

"Okay, Davey!"

When Rich leaves, Dave looks at Scott.

"How did this happen?" he asked as they clean the kitchen, and Scott looks at him.

"Rich wanted to make a smoothie, but forgot the lid. I asked if he needed help, but he says that he could do it himself."

Despite the situation, Dave chuckled.

"Yeah, that sounds about right."

As Dave and Scott were close to finish cleaning the kitchen, Smitty came by with Warehouse Mouse.

"Hey, what's going on?" Smitty asked, and Dave looks at him.

"Rich wanted to make a smoothie, but he forgot the lid again."

"While he was in little space." Scott added.

As if Dave had summoned him, Rich came back into The Think Tank, and looked like he didn't listen to Dave to change into a clean pair of coveralls, since the ones he had on were still covered in smoothie.

He was smiling, and in his hands in was a airplane he and Smitty had built together.

"Look, Smitty! The glue dried on the airplane!" Rich said, and when he said airplane, he said 'areoplane'.

Smitty smiled.

"That's great, buddy!"

"Do you think you can help me fly it?" Rich asked, and Smitty frowned.

"I was going to play checkers with Warehouse Mouse: maybe afterwards, okay?"

Rich frowns, and Dave and Scott exchanged glances.

"Uh-oh." Scott whispered, because Rich was the type of little who threw tantrums due to his regression (he impured regressed).

"But you promised when the glue dried, you played airplanes with me!" Rich explained as he follows Smitty as Smitty and Warehouse Mouse set up the checker board.

"I know, but I also promised Warehouse Mouse I'd play checkers with him." Smitty replied, and Warehouse Mouse nods.

"Yeah!"

Rich bit his lower lip, and because he was known to throw a tantrum, he threw the airplane on the floor, and it smashed into a million pieces.

Smitty, Scott, Dave, and Warehouse Mouse flinched at the sound, and before anyone else could say anything, Rich flipped over the checker board, sending the checker board and checker pieces onto the floor.

"Hey!" Warehouse said, and Smitty stood up.

"Rich--!"

"No!" Rich stated, bolting out of The Idea Warehouse door, and Smitty sighs as he rubbed his face.

"I'm going to go after him: do you mind cleaning up?" Smitty asked, and Dave nods.

"Sure."

"Thanks."

Smitty didn't have to look far for Rich, because he knew where Rich would be:

At one of the tables was Nina and Rich, and it looked like Nina was calming Rich down.

Nina was Rich's other caregiver besides Smitty, and Smitty knew Rich always went to Nina for comfort.

Nina looks up to see Smitty, and she smiles as she looks at Rich.

"Rich, Smitty is here."

Rich shook his head, his eyes shiny with tears.

"He's gonna be mad with me."

"He's not." Nina explained, getting up the chair, leaning down to kiss him on the cheek.

She stands up to look at Smitty.

"I'll be in the kitchen if you need me."

"Thanks, Nina." Smitty replied, and Nina smiles before disappearing into the kitchen.

Smitty takes Nina's vacant seat, and he was relieved to see that Nina had convinced Rich to change into a clean pair of coveralls:

Ever since The Movers helped Nina in The Idea Cafe, Nina kept a couple of coveralls for Rich, Smitty, Scott and Dave in case something happened.

There was a beat of silence, and Smitty looks at Rich.

"Did you want to tell me why you destroyed the airplane and flipped over the checker board?"

Rich shook his head.

"You're gonna be mad."

"I'm not going to be mad."

Rich looks at him.

"You spend so much time with Warehouse Mouse, and not with me."

Smitty nods, understanding why Rich acted the way he did earlier.

"You were jealous."

Rich nods.

"And feeling left out."

Smitty swung an arm around Rich and Rich rested his head on Smitty's shoulder.

"Warehouse Mouse is my friend, but so are you, Rich. I'm also your caregiver: you should be able to tell me these things."

"I know."

"I want you to promise me if you're feeling left out, feeling jealous, or any other emotion, you let me know. No more tantrums."

Rich lifted his head from Smitty's shoulder.

"I pinky promise!" Rich replied, and Smitty smiles as he hooks his pinky with Rich's.

"Good."

As they were heading back to The Idea Warehouse, Rich stops and looked upset, and Smitty was prepared for another tantrum.

"What's wrong, Rich?" he asked, and Rich looks at him.

"I never got my smoothie: breakfast is the most important meal of the day!"

"You're right: it is." Nina replied, giving a cup of smoothie to Rich, who smiles.

"Thanks, Nina!"

Nina smiles.

"You're welcome, Rich."

Smitty looks at Rich.

"Why don't you head back to The Idea Warehouse, Rich? I want to talk to Nina about something."

Rich nods, and heads in the direction of The Idea Warehouse, drinking his smoothie.

When Rich was gone, Smitty looks at Nina.

"Thanks for calming Rich down."

Nina returns the smile as she goes over to the go-to counter.

"I learned from the best." she replied, since it was Smitty who gave her a crash course in age regression (whenever Scott, Rich or Nina went into little space) and being a caregiver.

Smitty smiles, and felt something on his arm, and he noticed Rich's hand on his arm.

Whenever Smitty was talking to someone, and if Rich wanted to tell him something, Rich places his hand on Smitty's arm.

"Are you done talking to Nina? Because Warehouse Mouse and I wanna play checkers!"

Smitty was amazed at how Rich's and Warehouse Mouse's friendship grew:

There was a time where it seemed like Rich couldn't tolerate Warehouse Mouse being in the same room as him.

Smitty nods.

"Yeah, buddy. I'm done talking to Nina."

Rich grins and Warehouse Mouse cheers.

"Yay! Let's go play!"

Since it's my birthday tomorrow, have some headcanons about The Gabby Cats celebrating your birthday with you (plus Gabby and Grandma Gigi)! 🩷

The Gabby Cats love any excuse to throw a party: especially a birthday party!

You'll also have a party with Gabby and Grandma Gigi when you're in big space (you're around the same age as Gabby)

Marty The Party Cat especially loves throwing a birthday party in the party room! The possibilities are endless when it comes to choosing a theme, especially if you already have a theme in mind (including some help from Catrat)

Cakey bakes your favorite kind of cake: if you don't like cake, he can make another dessert too

DJ Catnip gets Fluffy Flufferton to sing you a special song that's all about you!

Baby Box, Kitty Fairy, Mercat, and Pillowcat help with the decorations and choosing the perfect present for you

While The Gabby Cats are preparing for your party, Gabby, Pandy and you are exploring Cat Francisco

You notice that Gabby gets a lot of phone calls from The Gabby Cats: wonder that's about?

After awhile, it's time to head back to Grandma Gigi's house, and to the party in The Dollhouse!

The Dollhouse party was a success, and now it's time for the party with Gabby and Grandma Gigi

Grandma Gigi made all of your favorite food and prepared your favorite dessert!

She gone a little overboard with presents ("you only turn thirteen once!"): she also got you some new gear for you to take home

Gabby's present to you is a set of kitty ears and a matching rainbow charm bracelet

Rainy Day

It was a rather lackadaisical day at the daycare. Too hot to risk meeting the wrath of the sun many opted to say in their homes the last few days, the number of littles dwindled with each passing day. As if the sun was an evil villain attempting to seal everyone away. 

When you were dropped off to those familiar decrepit doors you felt a sense of comfort. Ringing the bell, a gentle tone you’ve come to memorize plays. With footsteps approaching the door creek’s open revealing the one and only Mx. Scary or Nomma if you prefer.

With a smile they kneel to your height, “Hello bubba, welcome back, lovely to see you again.” With a hug they hold out their hand to you, and smiling you don’t hesitate. Walking the halls things feel different. Quieter than usual. The silence broken by Mx. Scary. “Sorry to say but, you’re the only other one here dear. It would seem the others couldn’t make it.”

‘How could this be?’ You thought to yourself, ‘It must have been that evil sun!’ Obviously it was casting some spell to trap everyone, but thankfully you were immune to its barriers. 

“Well,” You’re interrupted by Mx. Scary, “What do you wanna do today?” They ask with a refreshing smile.

A few hours passed, toys found themselves in the middle of a scene, coloring pages piled up, puzzles and games waiting to be finished, a movie played to no one watching. It was fun, but how can we have fun if the sun is always waiting, planning its next moves…

However something changed, clouds slowly rolled in on the horizon, like calvary leading the charge. ‘Ha!’ You thought to yourself, ‘the sun wouldn’t stand a chance.’

With sudden determination you began to close the blinds, as if signaling the clouds of your position for battle. Mx. Scary exited their office to find you sketching what seemed to be… battle plans? They shake their head with a smile and kneel next to you.

”Since it’s cloudy now, how about we go for a walk?”

‘Genius,’ you think, ‘being out there will definitely help the clouds plan.’

With an excited nod Mx. Scary and you went to put on your shoes and took a stroll to the nearby trail.

The breeze felt like a song of victory, the sun vanished. Soon however, the brief moment of peace was shattered by the approaching wave of sunlight. Quick on your feet you ran for the shade, nearly missing the sun’s attack. Mx. Scary, following you was able to avoid it too. With an angry sigh to call out, “You won’t win this battle!” And continue your change in the shade.

Mx. Scary can’t help but smile with a slight tilt of their head, they began to understand. “Ah… I understand now. You’re fighting my arch nemesis… Vomen.”

You gasp as Mx. Scary continues, “I’ve battled him for many years, never quite escaping his grasp. I’ve lost many knights to him. Those poor souls. My ice cream knights and fan warriors have all fallen, do you think you can stop him bubba?”

Hearing the tail some might feel intimidated, but it only further fuels your confidence. “Of course! We’ll show that meanie who’s boss!” With a smile you continue your trek to the park. Speaking to the cloud nation for help. Sneaking along various sun patches and running when the Vomen had his back turned.

Reaching the parks center you stood alongside Mx. Scary you took refuge under a tree. Deciding that now was the time to share a special spell you’d worked so hard on. Holding up the paper you explain the plan. “So we cast the spell to break Vomens barrier, which will allow the clouds to take over to destroy him for good!” Mx. Scary looked excited, “I trust you wholeheartedly dear, I know it’ll work.”

Raising your hands together you call out, “Sun, sun you are a pain, please go back from whence came! Sun, Sun you are so wrong, we’re sending you back to where you belong!”

You closed your eyes being hit with a strong wind, ‘a sign from the cloud nation!’ You open excitedly to see the sunbeams dry up, the cloud warriors covering you with their wings. Vomens powers were fleeting no matter how many spells he cast it wasn’t enough. You watched as he faded, being consumed by cloud warriors. You swear you heard his nasty voice yell out, “I’ll be back!” With a confident smile you jumped around with a cheer! Mx. Scary picking you up with ease with a proud smile on their face. “Bubba you did it! I knew you could.”

And what seemed to make the moment even better, the clouds decided to send their thank you. It started slowly, one drop after another, before it sounded like a thunder applause. It rained down like a sea of confetti. Any remnants of Vomen's powers were flushed out with a cooling breeze.

Setting you down Mx. Scary looked at you with an excited smile. “Bubba, how about we take a victory run back to the daycare, what do you think?” Their energy was infectious, it was an amazing idea! With an excited smile Mx. Scary and you held hands before running into the rain.

Letting go for a moment you watch them twirling around in the rain, before grabbing your hands and spinning you with them. The flush of cold water felt like a hug. Something so comforting and relaxing.

Their clothes were soaked but nothing could dampen the atmosphere in their bubble. Back to the trail the two ran. Splashing in puddles and sliding their way back to the daycare. 

With the building on the horizon Mx. Scary and you were no different than dogs right out of the bath, but you couldn’t be happier. Slowing to a walk you both continued to speak of your adventure, excited to share the joy when the others returned. Perhaps the next time Vomen appeared you’d have even more allies to help. But for now you were content with your celebration with Mx. Scary.

Once entering the walls of the daycare Mx. Scary disappeared momentarily giving you an opportunity to get back to the playroom. You had to write down the story of this adventure, how else would your friends believe you.

Fully focused on your paper you were oblivious to the figure approaching from behind… until it was too late.

Warmth!

You squeal being swallowed up by a towel. Laughing as your hair is dried. Sitting, Mx. Scary sits you on their lap while they fix up your hair, not wanting to leave any tangles or anything that might bother you. 

After drying off, snacking, and spending time in the playroom time seemed to rush by faster than you’d wished. Time to go back home…

You didn’t want to, it’s always the least fun part of daycare. After ensuring you had everything and offering a few more treats, Mx. Scary kneeled down to give you a big hug. “Thank you for your help today bubba, I couldn’t have done it without you.” Returning the hug with a smile, you let go, grab your things, and head down the steps.

Mx. Scary stands on the porch waving you off as you go. Leaving you with one last smile that would welcome you back tomorrow.
