“I have never had great expectations of my performance or of a film. I try not to think about the outcome. If you look that far ahead, it sort of taints your choices as an actor. I try as hard as I can to believe that no one is ever going to see it and that it’s not even a movie. Then you can allow yourself to bare more.”
Heath Ledger (April 4, 1979 - January 22, 2008)
“All of this is so insignificant. In the grand scale of things, there have been so many before who have been in this position. I’m just another one. Life is so short. It’s like we’re already gone, really, in retrospect.”
- Heath Andrew Ledger (4 April 1979 – 22 January 2008)
Rest in peace Heath Ledger (April 4, 1979 - January 22, 2008)
“When anything is blocking my head or there’s worry in my life, I just go sit on Mars or something and look back here at Earth. All you can see is this tiny speck. You don’t see the fear. You don’t see the pain. You don’t see thought. It’s just one solid speck. Then nothing really matters. It just doesn’t.” -Heath Andrew Ledger 1979 - 2008
Today I feel very sad. It has been 8 years since my favorite actor died. 8 years since the world lost Heath Ledger, in my opinion, its brightest star. I still battle every day with the idea that I’ll never see a new movie featuring him, I’ll never get to see him grow old, I’ll never get the chance to meet him and tell him how much he means to me and how much I love him. But wherever he is, I hope he’s happy and he’s making other people lucky for knowing him. Rest now, my warrior, and be sure that you are deeply missed by millions. You may be gone but you’ll never be forgotten. I love you and I miss you!
Another year without Heath. Can’t believe it’s been 8 already. That hole left in cinema hasn’t been filled yet and it never will be. Like always, my heart still goes out to his loved ones, particularly his daughter (who’s gotten so big!).
Let’s all watch a Heath movie today (or a marathon!) to remember this wonderful actor / man!
Cheers! <3
One of the recent commissions… kinda liked the way it turned out)
