Hello everybody!

As you guys know, I tend to keep to myself when we’re working on Welcome Home and only come out of my hermit’s burrow to give us all an update! This is that! 

Unfortunately for May, the workload has been more than anticipated, so I didn’t have time to properly produce a Minute with Wally like I hoped I could…! I hope this will suffice instead! (We also hope to do one next month if things improve!)

The next Merchandise drop is in the works too and it’s so so so sweet! It very much matches a very particular fellow! I’m also happy to write that most everything is available in our merch store found on the website! Each purchase goes to helping us keep building our happy home and promise future updates so the story can reach its end!

(Artwork by @downydig !) As for this upcoming update, I really want to keep everything a surprise, but I will say we have so much tucked away that we’re eager to share when the time comes! (I love hearing and seeing the reactions we get, it makes everything worthwhile!)  It’s funny to say, but much of this year’s workload has been spent on both Eddie’s update and every single update moving forward! (We intend to update twice a year until it's done, if things keep going well enough, for example!)

Also to know… We intend on dropping in the summertime within the next couple of months! Once I feel confident, we’ll offer a proper date! (I have to break our Updately tradition of me being late! I must break the curse of Home) All else I can say about it is…! Yeehaw! 🎤🐴

Pleasantly imagining Poppy and Frank crocheting while indulging a little more than normal. Poppy can handle it better, Frank goes down quickly. Imagining Poppy very focused in her chair and Frank going in and out and sitting perfectly still while holding her unraveled yarn for her in the Adjacent chair. And Frank would go from grumbling to rambling to quiet and Poppy would chime in and grumble with him before also winding up in that pleasant silence. But every now and again, she'd ask, "Are you still alive over there?" and He'd sound like he's thinking hard about it and says back, "Hm... It sounds like I am... Can you ask me that in a few clock turns from now? Just to double check..." And they'd both forget and Frank would wake up covered in One Billion granny squares.

Thinking one of my Regular thoughts… One of the neighbors asks Wally to house sit, Whatever That Means. He takes it literally and sits on the house's steps and makes conversation- "How are you?" Wally asks, but doesn't get a response. He even waits the proper time, too. "Oh, you're shy." He says after thinking and proceeds to stare patiently at it. "Don't worry, I have got all day." He really does, the neighbor probably comes home to Wally and their house and asks, "What have you been up to?" and Wally says, "Getting to know each other better." Which maybe is up to interpretation for both Wally and the house.

Hello! It's been a second! Whenever I work, I forget I'm alive, but thankfully I remembered! This is more officially said now, because of that! We have been working diligently towards the next update and will continue to do so until our next large update in the summer of this year! It's very exciting, and thank you folks for making it possible to keep going! I'll keep us posted as regularly as I can as per usual! In other news, I believe folks should begin getting things purchased from the Welcome Home Web Shop! (Here! -> https://welcomehome.shop/ !) I hope everything is so well loved and thank you all for your patience!

I think that's all for now! What have I been up to... I purchased a white board for Welcome Home's Multi-year plan! (And Red String to feel like a hot shot!)

This is a silly observation, but in Welcome Home's most recent update, there is a part where you can lie to Wally… And Some folks are confused even though they do this (Lie to Wally, that is!) and Wonder how they got there… And I do wonder to myself how many folks lied to Wally, because that is very funny...
