âSomewhere near Route 122â
A trainer had started his journey in the Hoenn region not too long ago. Though the only PokĂ©mon in his party was his Gardevoir, who bonded with her trainer since she was a Ralts. But she had not won a single battle, and always got in her trainerâs way, she has been beaten by her âbonded" master.
"Youâre so useless! Why couldnât I have started with a Torchic, Mudkip, or even a Treecko like those PokĂ©Dex owners!?" the trainer yells furiously.
âIts⊠Youâre fault!" the trainer points at the startled Gardevoir and with a bat he held, he smacks his Gardevoir.
"WHY!?" The Gardevoir gives a scream, unable to attack her own master, she didnât want to injure someone whoâs taken care of her.
"M-My!? Y-Your Gardevoir.." Nurse Joy spoke.
âYeah, sheâs been beaten by some Agron, at least it can fight unlike her." The trainer spoke out of hatred.
âYou shouldnât say that to yourâ"
âITS HER FAULT FOR NOT WINNING A SINGLE BATTLE!!!" The trainer ran off into the wild. There, he came across a herd of Donphans.
âHeh, maybe Iâll try and capture them for myself." Attempting to catch a Donphan, the trainer uses a PokĂ© Ball to capture one with the larger tusks than the others.
âHere I go!" The trainer threw the PokĂ© Ball at the wild Donphan, but the capture was a fail. Angry, the leader of the herd (the one with the largest tusks) growls and attacks the trainer. The herd follows what the leader does, and suspects the trainer to be an enemy of their leader.
âGaah!" The herd surrounds the trainer, blocking off any means of escaping their leader.
âI-Iâm sorrâ" The leader charges towards him with the move âTake Downâ.
âAaahhh!" Nothing happens. The trainer looks and seeâs Gardevoir negating the attack by using her move, âPsychicâ.
âYou useless piece ofâ" A sudden light glows on Gardevoir, healing her. Regaining the needed health, Gardevoir uses âShadow Ballâ at the herdâs leader. The herd of Donphans then charges towards Gardevoir using âTackleâ.
âAfter 20 minutes of battling the herd.â
" See, youâll never win like that." Gardevoir nearly survives with only a couple energy left within her, so using the last bits of her psychic energy, she makes a black hole, sucking in a couple of Donphans, one including their leader. Unable of what to do, the herd fled.
âY-You had this kind of strength!?" The trainer says and cheers for his Gardevoir.
âHahaha, if youâve shown this strength, then we wouldâve beatn the gymâ" Gardevoir falls, she breaths heavily, and starts to lose in the sight of her trainer.
âW-whatsâWhereâs the PokĂ©mon Center!?" Looking around for the nearest PokĂ©mon Center the trainer rushes to find some Oran Berries to regain some of Gardevoirâs health.
âW-Wait here.. Iâll bring some berries for you to regain your strength." Gardevoir gives off a smile to her master. Holding back his tears, the trainer ran to find sine berries.
"Okay, Iâm back!" The trainer sees the sleeping Gardevoir and hands over an Oran Berry.
âHere.. Eat it.." Gardevoir doesnât seem to move.
âI said eat it⊠Why canât you obey my instructions!?" Tears fill up his eyes, and the Gardevoir still doesnât move a single muscle.
âHERE!! Aaaaahhhh!!" The trainer cries, his head in Gardevoirâs right arm.
âIâm sorry⊠Iâm sorry that I called you useless, that Iâve beaten you up.. That I said youâre a terrible starter⊠I⊠Iâm⊠WAAAAHHHHH!!!" The trainer cries louder and takes his formerly owned Gardevoir to Mt. Pyre, there he meets up with another trainer who âSurfâs on his Wailmer.
âWhat in the world is wrong with your Gardevoir!?" The stranger says. Gardevoirâs trainer tells what happened, and asks to borrow her Wailmer to âSurfâ into Mt. Pyre, there heâll have a burrial to his beloved Gardevoir.
Regardless of her defensive stats, Gardevoir will always protect her bonded trainer, even at the cost of her own life. So⊠Why would anyone harm or hate.. Such creature..?
