If there was something that Luna was certain of is that she would always be on Lexa’s side. No matter what she did or what her decisions would be, Luna would always support her. Because she loved her, she always had for as long as she can remember. Luna didn’t hesitate and sat down on Lexa’s lap, her arms wrapped around the Commander’s neck, playing with the ends of her hair. She tried to calm her down, with these little actions because she could feel the stress coming from Lexa. “Don’t be sorry Lexa, it’s not your fault. Just do what you think it’s best, I will always be here and you will always have my support.” She let out a sigh and leaned her head on top of Lexa’s. “If war is the way to go now, the way we have to take to achieve peace in the future, then so be it.”
Lexa played with Luna’s shirt as the blonde spoke to her with such calming words. “It is my fault. I could not achieve peace.” She said disappointedly. Lexa let out a breath as Luna let her head lean on top of Lexa’s and she closed her eyes. She opened them after a moment and put her hand on Luna’s cheek. “I promise, I will never let any harm come to you.” She spoke. Lexa had only ever told two people that she loved them. Costia and Aden. But she knew her feelings for Luna were true. “I love you, Luna.” She spoke softly.
