he’s THANKFUL spencer’s not quitting the two of them completely, scott’s gratefully wrapping a hand around spencer’s wrist before tugging him away from stiles & the rant that has somehow still not ended even as their distance grows. scott’s ears can still pick up every word dropping from stiles’ lips, some of it is actually interesting. scott will probably ask him to repeat it later, just to hear all of it. unlike spencer ; scott actually likes hearing stiles talk.

scott’s hand releases the contact, digging into his pocket before he’s pulling out the cash they’d both saved up to top up their stash. they’ve been smoking for years, the two of them, even before scott had to spike his own joint with WOLFSBANE ( a special strain that he contacted deaton about, for purely hypothetical purposes, obviously. ) to actually feel the effects of the drugs like stiles does, like scott used to.

he could care less about how much the freckled boy seems to know about weed and how the less annoying one won’t stop staring at freckled one, he doesn’t care about what’s going on between them as long as he still gets the money he was promised. next time he’ll remember to just talk to the less annoying one.

eyes glance down at the fingers wrapped around his wrist, yanking his hand back and despite really wanting to pound his face into the ground for the touching he doesn’t, probably another time when money isn’t promised.

hand slides into jacket pocket, grabbing a bag and holding it out to him but won’t hand it over until money is in his hand ----- something he learned to do after product being stolen probably way too many times before changes were made.

he doesn’t need to be told twice, not at the mention of getting away from the boy that’s been ranting about the different types of weed for ten minutes and well, money. back against wall with arms crossed once he can stop hearing the sound of that voice. spencer knows he’s not the smartest tool in the ------ what is it ? he’ll figure it out later but he does know when to shut the fuck up.
