I've had a lot of years to practice drawing these kinds of expressions, cause I'm cheesy and romantic! A good approach is just to have the characters looks more relaxed than they usually are, and maybe smiling :)

hello hiii I think you are the durgetash artist ever. love love love how you draw both of the characters (Durge's tongue and clawsies and lil fang-looking thingies on the sides of his mouth, all the lil details on Enver's face (the bags under his eyes are Gucci)) also all the colours and shading and the EXPRESSIONS,, they look so soft and happy,,,, that's all thankyou mwah

Love your art, I don’t see enough default durge love for my liking! I have this sappy idea that Durge would occasionally find(or loot) nice canes they found and present them to Gortash. :) They’re sweet, your honor.

Also Durge 100% slings Gortash over their shoulder just because he can.
