flyers-- open
Amanda's breath comes out in hazy puffs of condensation as she plods down the street. It's the morning after an enormous blizzard, and drifts of fresh snow are piling up everywhere. It's a lovely morning to have to spend outside all day, staple-gunning goddamn flyers to goddamn posts.
Wearing her hat, gloves, leggings, parka, sweater, and many, many scarves, Amanda walks up to her fiftieth post that morning. She pulls out another flyer from the stack tucked under her arm (it's not try easy with gloves on), struggles with her staple gun for a bit, then tacks it on with a whoompsh noise.
The flyer reads:
ROXIE, ACOUSTIC This Saturday, Café Sonata @ 9:30 Cover charge $15, $10 for students with ID
Why, in this age of technology, couldn't they just send out a T.V. advert? Or at the very least, a Facebook event? The brunette rolls her eyes, then allows herself to take a break at a nearby coffee shop where she puts another one up inside for good measure.
