This has been the most incredible (prophetic conference) weekend...EVER.
What was the most powerful was the bond between me and my baby sister. I would have never imagined it to have gone as GREAT as it did (which is bad since I should be expecting things to change!), all thanks to Jesus!
I know I mentioned in my last post that kula (school) was cancelled, so in continuance of that, I called customer service to reschedule my flight to the first flight out the next morning at 7:45 AM and NO CHANGE FEE GUYS! Hallelujah! Woke up at exactly 6:07 and nearly missed it lol but arrived just in time and arrived safely. Had breakfast together, got our nails done, and when we finally arrived at the church for the opening service, I was literally pulled on the platform to do an opening ʻoli (chant) for the hula team! Talk about in-season-on-the-spot-God appointments! And from there The Lord SWUNG OPEN DOORS for me! I was personally asked by one of the Prophets who knew me from coming to Molokaʻi all the time to lead for him, and then from there just a chain of events of leading along with the worship team there!
But that was just the surface of what really hit home for me...
It was the connect between my sister Pili, me, and the majority of other young adults there! Like we CONNECTED! We hung out in between services, had lunch, got drunk under the power of the Holy Ghost after one night service, laughed, joked around, prayed together....it was amaaaaazing and it was GOD. My baby sisterʻs life is changed! For crying out loud, IʻM CHANGED!

So. Much. Has. HAPPENED!
First, that it has officially been an entire year since Iʻve typed out a “blog post” and an entire YEAR since starting my job at Punana Leo. Good news: Iʻm still presently working there, praise Jesus lol weʻve just about filled our maximum capacity of keiki (kids) with 21 of them, about 5 more than we had last year. But trust me when I tell you it is a LOT of work! Difficult communication with and participation from families, teaching an entire new language to 2 to 5 year olds in an environment where English is the prominent language...itʻs really been hard...testing...stretching to say the least. But again my friends and lets say it all together noow “God is GOOD!”. And thatʻs the truth!
In that year, Iʻve been raised up to be our churches youth band worship leader, my mom has moved to Oʻahu to live with my older sister while my BABY sister (which is a breakthrough story in and of itself thanks to JESUS but thatʻs for another time) attends community college. Momʻs really there to support her while that season goes on cause finances are really tight. It is the weekend of our churches annual prophetic conference so you better BELIEVE that Iʻm attending it! But God really broke through for me (again) today. This first month of school with the kids has been really tough...so having an extra day off would never ever bother me or anyone else for that matter (can I get an amen?). But thatʻs because weʻve got TWO tropical storms that are rated 4 out of 5 right now named “Madelynn” and “Lester”. Madelynn has already past but Lester is expected to hit tomorrow and the remainder of this weekend..SO SCHOOL WAS CANCELLED and my flight change fee was WAIVED because of the chance that we may not be able to fly tomorrow! Which actually kinda sucks but...cʻmon, Jesus, come through for me haha so praise God!
Expecting a whole lot this weekend for my family, myself, and my church! Itʻs awesome in Gods Kingdom! xoxo
My story really, pretty simple. I fell in love. Completely, crazy, madly, ruined forever, in love with God. One day at a time. It just so happens that He’s the best Dad ever, the best Friend ever, and the most incredible Lover. How could I say no to THAT, right?
