floating head in cas mod!

i made a piece of cc that hides the body in cas for ease of making transparent head icons and other such edits. it doesn’t delete the body permanently, it just acts as an invisible bodysuit that can be removed when you’re done

doesn’t remove the feet so you can still access the body menu

⚠️ when you’re finished with it, click on the sims shoes/feet, you can then access the outfit category from there to remove it!

Post Templates

I’ve been asked whether I’ll ever upload the templates I use for my posts, and while the answer to that is still no, today I had the inspiration to make a totally new set of templates specifically for you to download!

These differ from my personal templates in a few ways - they have less empty border around them (20px, while the ones I use have 40px), and the templates with the tilted parts aren’t quite as tilted, which makes it easier to make your screenshots work with them. And there are a LOT of options to choose from!

These were created with Photoshop CS5.

You need Photoshop to use these! (Not sure if you can use them with all versions of the program.)

Alternatively, you can use Photoscape X, which is a free program! (Thank you anon for this information! I don’t have experience with this so I’m not sure if the instructions will work the same though!)

The instructions, some tips, TOU, and preview pics are included in the Zip folder.

Have fun and let me know if there are any issues!

I’ve been wanting them for ages but couldn’t find them anywhere so I made them. They are 95% identical to the game ones and 85% perfect since I made them from scratch but hey they look pretty good to me 😊 To use them you just need to drop them on your image and resize them. Thought and speech icons can be found here. Enjoy! ♥

camera overlay .psd; 

a really simple camera overlay for square pictures. very much based on what jaden @cupidjuice did here. i loved the general idea so i wanted to make my own spin on it!

Everything is organized into one “group” so you can drag and drop it onto your picture OR paste a picture onto the “Your Picture Here” layer.

The ratio is 1:1 (a square) and the sizing of this PSD is 737x737

You can move around the viewfinder circle and adjust where the little sun would be on the exposure bar

TS4 TEXT CONVERSATION TEMPLATE

I haven’t seen anything like this anywhere and I was playing around with creating actions for my gameplay when I suddenly got bit by the idea bug, and so I bring you this nifty template!!

It’s just a recreation of the TS4 text conversation that pops up when your sim gets invited somewhere. It’s the exact size of the pop-up, but it’s super easy to drag onto whatever pic you want and resize to your liking.

The headers shows simlish text using @ajaysims‘ Simlish Sans, but the actual file has Arial for ease of use. Instructions are included for those still new to PS. It’s not required, but I’d love to be tagged if you use it just so I can check out your stories!

Family Tree .psd

@sunflower-sim asked if I would upload the family tree that I’m using, so here it is. It has instructions on the .psd file as well, but if something isn’t clear, don’t be afraid to ask! I forgot to mention it in the instructions, but you can make it taller by just selecting the Crop tool and dragging the bottom downwards!

These are pretty handy when you log an achievement. The only big difference is I didn’t include a sim portrait panel because obtaining a transparent render of your sim is a pain in the buns.
