Friendly, optimistic, and somewhat naïve, Werner von Delitzsch always tried to see the best in people. When he joined the Sicherheitsdienst (SD) in 1939, he believed he was serving a greater purpose, unaware of the darker reality behind the organization.

Starting out as an assistant to Albert Alrich, his duties were limited to filing documents and delivering reports, making it almost impossible for him to learn the other side of the regime or the true nature of his work.

However, that changed two years later, when he was transferred far away from his superior and into a completely different social circle

Wilhelm was born into a low-income family. Growing up surrounded by mockery and discrimination, he developed an arrogant and driven personality as a shield.

Through sheer effort, he earned his position as a gunner in a Heer Panzer unit.
