Thanks for swinging by, neighbour! I'm glad our threads crossed. The multiverse is huge and yet you found my little corner of the web. Don't be a stranger! I'm always open to making new friends. I hope you have tons of fun here 🕷️
i love ya’ll and i say this with kindness bc i know people dont mean it badly, but commenting on a fic/piece of writing just asking for more is not the compliment you think it is… like it actually kinda sucks to take the time and energy to write and post something to then get requests/demands for more
if you enjoyed a fic say so!! comment WHY you liked it! maybe say that you’d love to see more of it in the future!! but only saying “gimme more” like brooo i just DID and you have provided no further encouragement or incentive… i am not a machine lmao

"Baby," Garrett practically croons when he sees you, leaning his elbows on the railing of the staircase. "Where've you been?"
You try and fail the urge to let your eyes travel downwards, the trail of hair from his chest to the waistband of his sweatpants, the ridges of muscles very much evident, especially because he isn't wearing a shirt.
"Studying," you reply, in a duh tone of voice, taking the steps one at a time to reach him. He winds his arms around your waist, fingers splaying on the exposed skin of your abdomen, brushing your hip bone.
You melt at the soft touch, and he leans down to press a kiss to the tip of your earlobe. "Do you have no shirts?" You tease quietly, letting out a soft gasp when his kiss grows fervent. "... I should buy you some."
Your boyfriend lets out a little scoff, tugging you closer to his front. "I have enough shirts, honey," he breathes, lips moving up to the underside of your jaw. "C'mon," he coaxes, pulling away much to your chagrin; to you letting out a soft, irritated whine. "Upstairs. Don't you wanna get comfy?"
How can you possibly resist, especially when his hands are on you, and he's using that tone, which begs to be listened to? You let out a little hum of affirmation.
Garrett grins, the corners of his lips tugging up in what looks to be a mix of amusement and pleasure at your easy obedience. "Good girl," he murmurs, fingers slipping off your waist, only to intertwine with your loose ones by your side. "Up," he says in the softest voice possible.
You blink up at him through your lashes. He tilts his head at you, resembling a bit of a golden retriever with those brown eyes fixed on you, solely on you. You're warm under his attention.
"Didn't anyone tell you it's rude to stare, baby?" Garrett says softly, a teasing chide to his words.
It's your turn to let out a scoff now, mirroring his, and his eyebrows soften in appreciation of the soft sound from your lips. "You're my boyfriend, I think I'm allowed to admire you."
His grin widens. "Oh, is that what you're doing? Admiring me?"
"Mhm."
"Huh," Garrett murmurs, lifting his free hand to cup your cheek, watching the way you melt in real time with adoring eyes. "When did you get so smooth?"
You smile prettily up at him, your best smile, and his breath catches in his throat. "Learned from the best."
"Did you?" he brushes your cheek with a calloused thumb, so gentle it makes something in your heart splinter and crack in two.
"Come on, sweetheart," he gentles his voice even further, giving your cheek a gentle pat. "Let's take a nap. You look exhausted."
You frown up at him, lips jutting out in a pout. "That's so mean, do I not look pretty?"
Garrett curls his arms around you, picking you up with an ease that still surprises you. Your legs naturally wind around his waist, head lolling forward to find rest on his shoulder. "You always look pretty, baby," he hums, kissing the side of your head. "My gorgeous girl, hm?"
Letting out a pleased sound of acknowledgement, you let Garrett climb the rest of the stairs and make his way down the hallway. You pass Dean's room on the way, and the door is wide open.
You don't bother lifting your head from Garrett's shoulder, you're already sure what's going on in there. Your boyfriend wrinkles his nose above you. "Dean, how many fucking times! Close the door, yeah?"
Dean lets out a sound to the affirmative, but makes no move to get up from where he's got a pretty girl perched on top of him.
Garrett pinches the bridge of his nose and lets out an annoyed sigh, shifting you on his hip to close the door with one hand. "Idiot," he mutters under his breath. He hitches you higher against his chest, and you go willingly, boneless and warm under his affections.
The floorboards creak under Garrett's weight as he moves to cover the distance from Dean's room to his. "Tired, sweetheart?" He asks, voice soft again, a low rumble to the timbre of his words.
"No," you mumble against his neck, pressing your nose against the space between his jaw and shoulder.
He lets out a laugh, opening his door with his foot, shifting you in his arms a little so he can flop onto his bed, back against the headrest, with you in his lap. "You're lying."
"Am not."
"Are too," he grins, watching you peer up at him with half-lidded, obviously sleepy eyes. "You're barely awake, pretty."
You let out an annoyed whine, hands finding home on his chest. "I'm awake, thank you very much. And I want a kiss."
Garrett's smile widens. "Do you now?"
"Don't be a jerk," you reply, narrowing your eyes at him. "I'm allowed to ask for a kiss."
"You are," he hums, tugging you closer, one big hand lifting from your waist for your neck, brushing idly at the tender skin of your jaw. "You do have to say please, though, honey. Manners."
Groaning frustratedly, you add, "please can I have kiss?"
Your boyfriend smiles, thumbing at your cheekbone. "You can, baby," he murmurs, leaning down to meet you halfway. Your hand slides up to the nape of his neck, thumbing at the baby hairs there, and he sighs against your mouth, deepening the kiss.
It's lazy, the kind of kiss that isn't going anywhere, and doesn't need to, either. His tongue brushes your lower lip, seeking entry, and you open for him. He tastes like mint, the gum he's always chewing.
"Garrett," you breathe when he pulls away for a second to get air.
"Shh." His lips trail to the corner of your mouth, your jaw, the soft spot below your ear. "Just relax, sweetheart."

Steve Harrington had a theory.
A hypothesis, rather, but it was looking increasingly likely to be true as he watches you sitting between his legs on the couch at WSQK.
His theory was this: you, his wonderfully shy, adorably flustered girlfriend, had a melting point. And he was the sun.
The evidence is currently his hand, resting casually on the small of your back as he leans over your shoulder to see what you're scribbling in your notebook. It's not even a big touch. Just the warm, solid weight of his palm through the thin cotton of your shirt.
And you... you just sag. A little contented sigh escaping you as you melt further into his front. Your head tilts a fraction towards him like a flower seeking light. He can practically hear the soft, fuzzy static that replaces your thoughts.
A slow, smug smile spreads across his face. He fights to keep it in check as he rests his chin on your shoulder.
“What’cha working on, sweetheart?” he murmurs, his voice low by your ear.
You jump a little, as if suddenly remembering where you are. “Oh! It’s, um… just my Calc problems. They’re… there are a lot of them.” Your words came out in a soft, breathy rush.
“Mm, looks awful,” he agrees, not looking at the paper at all. He's more intently focused on watching the pink blush creep up the side of your neck. He moves his hand, just an inch, tracing a slow circle on your back with his thumb.
You make a tiny, involuntary sound that sounds a lot like a hum of pleasure. Your eyes flutter shut for a second, then open as your eyes flicker around the back room at The Squawk, checking that none of the kids are around snooping.
Steve's heart does a funny flip in his chest. The smugness is still there, a warm, pleased bubble in his gut. He did that. With just his hand.
But underneath the smugness is something else, something vast and tender that takes him by surprise.
He remembers other touches. A body that leaned away ever so slightly. Hands that would politely but firmly untangle from his. Nancy never was fond of physical touch.
But here, with you, when he shifts a little to tuck you closer to his front and reaches for your hand on your thigh, you don't pull away. You lace your fingers with his.
"You're a distraction, Harrington," you mumble.
“That’s the plan,” he says, his voice dripping with faux-innocence. He brings your joined hands up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to your knuckles.
He feels the exact moment you stop breathing for a second, a tiny, precious hitch in your chest pressed against his.
“You know,” he murmurs, his lips now brushing the shell of your ear, reveling in the full-body shiver it elicits. “I think I’m onto a scientific breakthrough here.”
“Oh yeah?” you ask, your voice a little dreamy, your head now fully resting back against his shoulder, your Calc homework completely abandoned on the table.
He nuzzles into the soft space by your ear. "Yeah. The Harrington Effect. Subject becomes instantly and irrevocably adorable upon contact. Observations include: reduced cognitive function, increased blushing, and a pronounced tendency to cuddle."
You laugh. "You're ridiculous," you murmur, but you don't deny it.
“I’m a dedicated researcher,” he corrects, smiling against your skin. "And you know it's true, angel. You're melting."
“Prove it,” you challenge softly, though there’s no real defiance in it. You’re already boneless against him, your fingers tracing idle patterns on his forearm where it rests across your stomach.
“Oh, it’s on,” he whispers, the words a warm puff of air against your neck. The game is his favorite kind.
He starts slow, because he’s a scientist, and a gentleman. He presses a line of soft, lingering kisses from the hinge of your jaw down the side of your neck. With each one, you sigh a little deeper, your head lolling to give him better access.
“Observation one,” he murmurs against your skin, his voice a low, satisfied rumble. “Reduced motor control. Subject is… what’s the word… putty.”
“M’not putty,” you protest weakly, but the argument is lost as he finds that one particular spot just below your ear.
You tense for a second before going utterly, completely limp against him. He can feel the exact moment your brain checks out. The little humming tension that always lives in your shoulders when you’re thinking, or worrying, or just being adorably shy, evaporates. You've practically dissolved now, to a puddle in his lap.
Steve pulls back just enough to look at your face. Your eyes are closed, lips slightly parted.
His smugness evaporates. It’s replaced by a wave of such overwhelming tenderness it makes his own breath catch. He did that. He made you feel so safe, loved, so his that your busy, brilliant mind could just… switch off.
It’s a power he never knew he wanted, and now can’t imagine living without.
“Hey,” he whispers, his voice impossibly soft. He brushes the tip of his nose against the back of your neck. “You in there?”
A low, incoherent hum is his only answer.
Steve chuckles, the sound full of awe. He carefully adjusts his arms, wrapping you up completely, securing you against him as if you’re the most precious, fragile thing he’s ever held. Which you are.
“That’s what I thought,” he breathes into your hair, pressing a long, sweet kiss to your temple. He rests his chin on your head, looking up at the organised chaos of WSQK. Robin's mixtape is playing Every Breath You Take, and from the other room, he can hear the distant, familiar bickering of Dustin and Lucas.
But here, on the familiar, worn out couch in the backroom, he’s holding his entire world.
And his world, sweet and pliant and trusting, is happily, quietly, melting right in his arms. It's, without a doubt, his favourite discovery.
Initially watching the trailer for off campus I was very eh about the whole thing, but watching the show now I feel like Garrett is so attractive, it’s in his mannerisms more so than I would have expected!!
YAYYYY congrats on being done w ur finals priii <3<3 what have u been getting up to??
Thank you angel!!! Shopping, hair removal (ugh. First time doing bikini hair removal, sooooooo painful, but the things I do to wear a swimsuit without thinking about the hair), and a facial (not the ones you see online.
