there’s a local guy called the Sidewalk Astronomer who sets up outside the clubs downtown with a giant telescope and lets the drunk people walking by look at the stars. he’s my hero and he let me see the moon and Jupiter today
I decided to draw something for these two asks! Thank you very much! 🩵💙
Recently, I saw them blowing bubbles together, and it was just too cute!! I think the only time Uranus shows even a glimpse of his genuine smile is when he is with Neptune.
They are still sweet and best buds! But they probably just have a better dynamic now; Earth actually has a reason to not want a relationship beyond their friendship that he plays off as mere playfulness.
Jupiter and Saturn
They have always had a lot of drama; not much has changed from that.
The Dwarf Planets (group picture)
Different personalities: Pluto used to be edgier and less mature, Eris was also like that but meaner, Ceres has always been the big sis but lacks her current role as a fighter, Haumea was a creepy (but pretty) doll, Makemake was just cute and kind of mischievous.
Ice Brothers (Uranus and Neptune)
They are still quite different here. Uranus is an airhead and Neptune is still quite edgy; a far cry from the nonchalant observer + insecure sweetheart duo that we now have.
Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn (in their youth + general silly content)
Sun and Jupiter used to have dreams together, but only Sun fulfilled his dreams of being a full-fledged star. Jupiter did not; and he did not take it well. Saturn had always been there for him, though.
This could still hold true depending on the theories I will work with, but it could be rewritten.
Moon Sketches
Mars and his moons; Mars was not always such a short king, Phobos was still a fanboy but had a different look after looking at the actual moon again. Deimos is much of the same, riding on a rover.
Other moons: Io (Jupiter)
She seems more feminine here... I could bring these features back and mix it with the Io we have now.
Iapetus and Hyperion (Saturn)
Iapetus could get redesigned as I was not sure what to go with here (he will still have his beauty mark and maybe the middle part?), and then Hyperion's design was based off theories that he could be a part of a dead moon. The original premise was that he serves as a haunting reminder of Saturn's more violent past (that he was not able to control, even if he wanted to).
Hydra and Kerberos (Pluto)
The snake and the puppy duo! They could retain their bold and quiet dynamic, but we will have to see. It depends on what I read about their actual celestial bodies + inspiration from mythology + artistic liberty (as per usual).
Hmm... I have found some old art of Heliosphere. I will try to draw for the asks that I have ideas for! And for some, maybe I will not be able to draw, but thank you regardless for messaging me!

I am still trying to get back in the groove of drawing... I have not drawn in what feels like a long time, save for working on some commissions and messy sketches (and even that took me some time).
The summer heat was BRUTAL here for the past months and it felt like I have been on low energy ;;; but since the rainy season has been starting lately, I will try to get back to the groove! Thank you for your ongoing support and interest in this project.
