1. NSFW is allowed! Clearly for the characters who have reached at least 18 in the canon storyline. There are certain kinks I’m uncomfortable writing for but they’re too numerous to list, so if your request hits any of these, I’ll let you know!

2. Only 5 characters maximum per ask for questions that involve headcanons. If a scenario is being requested, please only send in one character! If you want the same idea for multiple characters, feel free to send them in separate asks, I don’t mind!

3. Please no asks involving rape/mental disorders (such as schizophrenia or DID) or other very triggering topics for people. All characters would be supporting to their significant other, and would not judge them due to having a disorder of any sort. 

 4. This is a reader-insert blog so we only do reader-insert writings! Please don’t request for any character/character couple as the request will be deleted! So far there aren’t any characters we won’t write for.

Hello, this maybe sudden but I really hope this super duper long message won't bother you 😭 I just really want to say my thanks and express my thoughts so it was like pouring out all at once when I wrote this.I do hope that it could reach you in someway, I'm sorry that I'm not used to Tumblr so I only know to send this thank you message through this request board but anyways---Well, I came across your blog in about this year's May because I was in a slump (?) and ran out of idea myself so I kinda started to look around to see if there's someone out there writing self-shipping content for our Helios boys, that's when I found out about your blog and gosh you don't know how happy it made me, it's maybe a bit exaggerated to say but it totally changed my whole life 😭Like, I'm a hardcore Gast yume myself and does have my own share of headcanons and thoughts about how will he treat his partner, how will he interact with his crush and other stuff but to be honest I haven't read all of Helios story (both main & event stories) but only some of them that I like so I'm not really confident in my own interpretations and headcanons about him 😔...I also don't see any other Helios' yumefans around me so I guess I can't really ask for advice or confirmation (it's also because I'm shy too) so like 😭When I read your prompts and headcanons about Gast, somehow it just really kicked in for me 😭 I did check out some of your posts about other characters too and almost all of them feel so in characters that I couldn't help but be in awe even though my main priority on Helios is Gast, and so it really boost my confidence when we were to have the same viewpoint on one some aspects 😭Like the one of Gast wouldn't like hurting his partner would be something to be expected judging from how he is before First Storm was released, but after First Storm reveal, it even made more sense that he would be like that to his loved one 😭It's really amazing that you were quite sure of that before FS release, I'm rellat impressed!And also, the first time I came to your blog and binge read all about Gast, I was giggling/smirking/rolling on my bed with the most disgusting expression on my face ever (I think) most of the time and was being super giddy giddy & floating on cloud nine all that day 😇Like it's the first time that I feel that much of happiness since I yumeshipped myself with him, and I still feel come back to reread from time to time and it still brings a smile to my face everytime 😍So in conclusion I really want to express my appreciation to you, thank you so much for opening this blog and from that I (and the other yumes that visit this blog) have a chance to come in contact with your writings!From my viewpoint I really feel that your really observe the character well and put your heart (also enjoyment) in writing all these prompts and headcanons reply to all those requests, I really appreciate your hard works, thanks again! 🫶

🌻daisy: what is their love language, both giving and receiving?

Acts of Service/Quality Time. Ren didn’t know how to be in a relationship, so physical intimacy didn’t come easy to him; you’d have to be patient and start slow before he’s comfortable with showing that kind of affection. But he also worried that he’d bore you when you hung out as most of his time was taken up by being a hero or training, which wasn’t very interesting to talk about after a while. He tried to keep himself busy by doing little things for you, always insisting on running errands for you or at least with you so you won’t be out alone.

Gifts. They couldn't just be any gifts as Ren wasn't easily won over, but cat-themed gifts were always the surefire way to his heart. You might hesitate thinking, no he couldn’t possibly like this, but you’ll find he always responded positively when you find him something both useful to him and cute. There’s a collection of cat mugs, all from the same company that seemed to release a new one yearly, that you had started collecting for him and you knew he looked forward to seeing the new design every time the year rolled over.

🌻marigold: how jealous do they get? how do they react when they get jealous?

Ren doesn’t tend to get jealous at the drop of a hat. He trusts in you and you spend time together so he doesn’t think there’s a reason to be worried, but when someone comes at him in a gossipy manner about you it can affect him. If Akira happened to babble on about how you’re spending time with some other super cool hero it would give him the slightest tinge of jealousy, making him want to see you in the moment and reassure that you were still his. It’s silly to feel that way and he’s aware of that but he does seek some validation from you, just to give him a little peace of mind.

If you don’t soothe his jealousy he gets rather pouty, even giving you the cold shoulder when you try to figure out what was wrong. You’re used to Ren icing you out though and patiently chip away until he confided his troubles into you, proving again that he should’ve just trusted you from the start. You never minded soothing him because it was so rare for him to act like this, and someone who constantly kept his walls up deserved to relax his shoulders whenever the opportunity presented itself.

🌻sunflower: how would they confess their feelings to their crush?

Ren would rather die with his feelings, biting his tongue whenever a moment became too sentimental as he knew he was likely to throw his heart on the table if he got caught up. You’d be completely blindsided by a confession from him purely because his hot and cold treatment of you would never have you guessing he had a thing for you; even if you had an inkling, looking at his body language and the things he said to you wouldn’t indicate he had any interest in you. Unfortunately, Ren didn’t have many people to confide his feelings in but Will, who remained vigilant of his childhood friend, offered a listening ear with the hope of encouraging Ren into inviting a little bit more light into his life.

15. ♥ Do they enjoy talking to their partners before going to sleep or is it straight to dreamland?

Nova certainly talks until he dropped so you’re always prepared for his whispers of ‘sweet nothings’ to simply be about his findings for the day or some other experiment he was taking part in. He never lacked passion but he also wasn’t completely self-centered, turning to you with a sleepy grin and asking how your day was. He normally asked you first as he knew once he started talking to you he only stopped once he completely passed out, and he did want to know how you were doing before that happened.

16. ♥ Do they have at least one bonding activity they devote to doing with their partner exclusively?

Nova doesn’t have a ton of free time, or hobbies really, so your special activity is completely up to you. He doesn’t mind having movie nights together (and perhaps if he can get Marion used to you, you could even join the family movie nights) and he’s okay with most things as long as you’re spending time together. He tended to default to what you wanted to do naturally as a way to make up for the fact you don’t spend much time together because of him, and the way he gets so lost in projects you might not hear from him for days.

19. ♥ What was their first impression about their partner/person they are courting?

Nova thought you were striking. It wasn’t just beauty but there was something about your personality that had caused him to stop in your tracks, pulling his brain from the previous topic it had been pondering and directing all his attention to you. There weren’t many things that could do that which made him even more fascinated with his draw to you, but he’s unknowingly wary when it came to striking up a conversation with you.

20. ♥ How did their relationship start?

It started after a conversation about his ex-fiancé. This would normally be a red flag but he had a few other flags you should’ve paid attention to, so why stop now? Your relationship didn’t start immediately after either, he wasn’t asking you out in the same breath as he talked about his past lover and her tragic death, but it was a topic that allowed you to grow closer to him. You understood his apprehension now, why he could flirt with you one day and then be all science business the next; he was still protecting himself even if he had mostly come to terms with her loss. You felt the trust he had in you in that moment, and the way you reacted to his words showed Nova he could truly place that trust in you.

Asch Albright:

Asch could actually kill a man, if he hadn’t worked so hard to become a hero in the first place. He’s not above being loudly unimpressed with the person, interjecting himself into the conversation when it doesn’t end as quickly as he wanted it to. He could’ve kicked the dude in the face if they kept talking but thankfully, the rancid energy Asch was emitting chased the other person off in a heartbeat. You scold him for not keeping his cool but he didn’t seem to care, knowing he wasn’t gonna let anyone get away with talking to his lover again.

Billy Wise:

Billy isn’t necessarily jealous but he can’t deny his mischievous tendencies, practically skipping over and butting into the conversation (to the surprise of you and the other party). He was quite nosy, pestering them with questions that were mildly threatening in nature, dropping a lot of information that he wouldn’t have known unless he was a stalker (or a super genius hacker~). He didn’t seem angry or flustered at all, looking at you with a smile as he commented you seemed to attract all the odd personalities around the place.

Gray Reverse:

Gray is torn, not wanting Jet to take control but finding he’s fighting for his life after seeing a person flirt with you so blatantly. He was positive he wasn’t needed at this point as you could handle yourself but you seemed to appreciate him coming to stand beside you, nodding his head to show he’d back you up if necessary. Jet seemed to roll his eyes as it was clear the other party deserved a hard punch to the jaw to set them straight but thankfully the other party wasn’t willing to fight after your blunt rejection.

Shin:

Shin is absolutely petty enough to intervene and embarrass the hell out of the person talking to you, asking if they really thought they stood a chance against him. Even if they’re apologetic he’s ruthless, tearing them apart while hardly giving them a second glance. He’s quick to escort you away before you can scold him in front of the stranger, giving an innocent smile as he asked what he did wrong when he was just defending your honor.

If I had to pick my first instinct would be a Scorpio moon, just because he seems like the type who HAS clear cut boundaries but they're also constantly being pushed due to the flirty DJ persona he has... but we see how much contempt he genuinely has for the people who DO push his boundaries (that he might not always make clear to them) and he can be genuinely mean in my opinion when those limits are pushed too far so it all feels very scorpio to me

I think privacy also matters a great deal to him and sometimes he just wants to be left alone

Gray Reverse:

🌻fennel: what are their kisses like? where do they like to be kissed the most? 

Gray’s kisses reminded you of butterflies, soft, gentle, a true blink and you’ll miss it moment as he fluttered close one second but was a million miles away in another. He seemed hesitant even when you made the first move, as if he thought you might just be teasing him and you revoke the privilege at any time. His cautious attitude fits with the rest of him but you do feel a little sad that he doesn’t take the initiative more often, hoping once you build his confidence up a bit more he’ll get a little bolder when it comes to exchanging kisses with you.

The least stressful place to be kissed is the top of his head, so Gray preferred there while he got used to being in a relationship with someone who wanted to kiss him. Not having to see your face or recognize how close you are to him certainly helped some of his nerves, but then your smell would fill his nose and he’d begin to sweat. He never knew if he was reacting the way he should or if you noticed how anxious he was, but it was never because of your own actions, more from his inexperience leading to a head full of doubts.

🌻peony: how do they get their s/o to blush? how does their s/o make them blush?

Making you blush tended to be when Gray was relaxed, gushing to you about this or that, showing you that precious smile of his that always had your heart fluttering. Seeing him trust you was overwhelming, his honesty appreciated and encouraged, though you’re at your most flustered when Jet is the one who comes out to play. He always left you speechless on Gray’s behalf, much bolder with his flirting and leaving Gray reeling over how to apologize properly to you.

Just exist within Gray’s thoughts and the man is a blushing mess. The thought of something you did a year ago would still have the power to fluster Gray, allowing him to get lost in memories of you when he needed a distraction from his anxieties. It’s embarrassing to be reactive the way he is to everything you do but the fact you call it cute (which only made his face grow hotter) made him feel a little better about how weak his heart was when it came to you.

🌻pink camellia: how do they react when their s/o is gone for a week? a month?

Thankfully, Gray being so sensitive to everything about you meant that he could get lost in memories and still feel like you were close, even when you were out of reach. You weren’t offended that the memories bring him comfort because you know Gray always wanted to make new ones, and the thought of him being sad that you were gone would have you never leaving his side again (which might not be possible with the job you have). Anything longer than a week leaves him a little restless, with Gray trying even more to throw himself into training and his hero work to keep himself distracted from worrying about you.

🌻red chrysanthemums: how long does it take for them to say ‘i love you’?

Be patient, as those three little words are a hard hurdle for Gray to jump over; he wants to scream it out after every cute thing that you do, but he doesn't want to chase you away so early in the relationship. It would mostly be his confidence issues speaking to him, telling him he doesn’t deserve to love you and expect the same sentiment to be returned. He’s forever working himself out of old habits like psyching himself out and not taking risks, knowing he had to move out of his comfort zone for the sake of your relationship. It’ll still be awhile before Gray manages to spit it out but he’ll make the moment extra special and you’ll see a side of him that you’d never seen before.

🌻sunflower: how would they confess their feelings to their crush?

Gray was working off an adrenaline rush, with Billy hyping him up to chase after his dreams and do what he felt is right in the moment. The minute Gray had you in his sights, with your full attention now on him, the temporary confidence crumbled and now he had no idea what to do. He was floundering, stuttering out excuses that make no sense, wishing he could just disappear into the floor. But now that you were looking at him expectantly he knew he had to swallow his fear and just spit it out, since Billy had promised to be there for him should anything bad happen during his confession.

🌻coriander: what do they love the most about their s/o, both physical and personality-wise?

You’re some whose very easy for him to talk to. He doesn’t feel like you’re judging him, or underestimating his strength, or making any assumptions based on factors outside of his control. He feels like he could tell you anything, and having this emotional security is incredibly important to Marion; it’s always been difficult to let his real feelings shine through, but it wasn’t healthy for him to keep them inside constantly, so he needed a person who he felt could understand him. Even if you didn’t have the same opinions as he did, there was just something that made him comfortable speaking freely with you.

Marion likes your eyes. They’re like windows to the soul, or so Nova used to joke, but he never really understood the phrase ‘getting lost in their eyes’ until you. He could stare into your eyes forever if you let him but normally, you’d get too flustered, having to look away while Marion couldn’t possibly mirror you.

🌻daisy: what is their love language, both giving and receiving?

Giving: Acts of Service. This is more a goal set by himself but Marion likes to prove that he’s ‘useful’ to you; it’s nothing you’ve ever commented on, and you don’t quite know where it came from as its not like he has anything to prove. He just liked the feeling of knowing he was making your day easier, even when he was busy himself he still tried to fit in tasks that would make your day easier by the end of it. It’s not something he willingly admits to, of course, denying that it’s coming from the love he has for you as it would be too embarrassing to admit.

Receiving: Quality Time. Marion isn’t a high-maintenance lover, as much as his standards might have you perceive him that way. He doesn’t want you going out of your way to do things for him, nor does he have a need for endless gifts (although he won’t ever deny home-cooked breakfast). He always preferred doing things together when your free-time allowed it, like cooking together or watching movies with the entire family; at first he was nervous about spending time alone with you but now it’s exactly what he needs to keep his head on straight.

🌻fennel: what are their kisses like? where do they like to be kissed the most?

Marion’s kisses are thoughtful, always coming in a moment that you suspect yet still knocking you off your feet anyway. You can’t help but lean in to him and it’s exactly what he wants, that closeness that comes with being unabashedly in love. He preferred to take the moments slow, as much as his nerves were set alight when you kissed he couldn’t help but want to savor the moment.

He would say the lips if asked but he doesn’t have a preference, a kiss is a kiss but he does like ones he can reciprocate. When you’re quick with kissing him on the cheek or forehead he always tried to grab you before you could get away, which you now made into a game knowing he wanted to reciprocate any affection you gave him. It left you both giggling in a way you didn’t think Marion was capable of before dating him, kissing each other’s faces until your other responsibilities were remembered.

🌻peony: how do they get their s/o to blush? how does their s/o make them blush?

Marion is always proud when he managed to set up a perfectly romantic moment for the two of you to enjoy together, and the confidence he has about knowing you is something you can’t help but blush over. There are some partners who might take a more bashful approach to it but knowing you inside and out is a source of pride for Marion, who put endless effort into your relationship while training his hardest to be a great hero.

Marion is surprisingly easy to make blush, almost like its natural reaction to your presence. It happened when you leaned in close or suddenly start giving him physical affection before he can mentally prepare, or when you sincerely compliment an outfit you think he looks good in. Having any sort of praise coming from you pleased him, but romantic attention made him more nervous than other kids of attention from you.

🌻sweet pea: are they big on cuddling? what is their favorite position to cuddle their s/o in?

Marion enjoyed cuddling as long as he was in a good mood, as he preferred being left alone or not being confined if he was angry/worked up. There are times where he needs comfort that he’ll let you know it’s okay to be close to him, a comforting arm wrapped around his shoulder as he leaned into you and tried to get ahold of himself as he didn’t want your mood to tank alongside his. There’s something inherently comforting about having a person you can simply lean against and absorb their warmth without being questioned on it, although teasing is imminent especially when the cuddling happens on movie nights.

His favorite way to cuddle was when you were on the couch together, a nice blanket spread across your legs, either you curled up into him or him resting his head on your shoulder. He thought it was nice if somewhat distracting, the first few times finding it impossible to fully focus on the movie but eventually falling into a comfortable rhythm where Jacqueline wouldn’t constantly squeal about how cute the two of you were.

WEST SECTOR VENUS SIGNS

Dino Albani:

Pisces Venus. Dino has always been a highly intuitive person, not to mention emotionally intelligent, so it’s only natural that the connection you felt with him was almost instantaneous. He’s a partner who wants to have fun, finding creative ways to bond and experience life together. You’ll never experience a love more unconditional than the one Dino displayed for you, though his Aries sun makes him rather direct so don’t think he’ll allow you to run from any problems you might have.

Faith Beams:

Aries Venus. Faith is someone who needs that excitement, that thrill, a real challenge since people throw themselves at him with reckless abandon. He wants a person who can keep him on his toes but isn’t annoying about it, still displaying an interest but making it known they won’t let him give them anything less than the world. He naturally takes the lead but it always sparked his interest when you decided to take the reins, trusting you not to lead you both to your demise.

Keith Max:

Scorpio Venus. On the surface, Keith doesn’t seem to fulfill the ‘Scorpio Venus’ stereotype of ‘obsessive’ or pro-active but he’s a person who loves deeply. He wants to know you intimately and that includes knowing the negative parts of you, the ones you’d be embarrassed or horrified for others to see. His vices are on display for all to see, which he hated, but it didn’t quite feel right if he didn’t know what your weaknesses were too. Ultimately, he wanted to know and love the real you, which meant having to dig a little deeper as frustrating as those conversations may be.

Leonard Wright Jr:

Taurus Venus. Ever the hard worker, Junior is motivated to work twice as hard to provide you a life that you deserve. Loyalty was a serious thing to him, and there’s no one else that would catch his eye after he determined you were the one for him. He doesn’t get people who cheat or those who have a partner yet still flirt with others, because he felt no inclination from the moment he set his heart on you. You find that he’s a true romantic, always trying his hardest to set up nice dates for you to be alone together (and he even wrote a song for you once, but he’s too embarrassed to bring that up later in your relationship).

EAST SECTOR VENUS SIGNS

Asch Albright:

Leo Venus. Asch is a man whose lived in luxury his entire life, so it’s only natural he wants to give his partner the same life he had. He will not let you accept anything less than extravagant and he will complain if you try to make him tone it down, wondering if you just don't know what it's like to be loved by someone like him. He liked when you looked good together and would be even happier if you were considered a power couple, thinking the name fit you both perfectly.

Billy Wise:

Gemini Venus. You’re in for a ride with Billy, if you couldn’t tell from what you know of his personality already, but you’ll never have a dull time. He can run hot and cold but not because his feelings for you fluctuate, but because committing wholeheartedly to a person makes him nervous. Giving your heart away is a big deal, and making friends was far different than falling in love, though the pain of losing that might be equal in his mind. You’ll have to earn his friendship first and even then it might take time, but Billy’s constant flirting and allowing you to get closer to him than he’s ever let someone get before.  

Gray Reverse:

Cancer Venus. Gray needs some security and affirmations, even with his confident (very slowly) building up; he needs to know he’s not a burden on you, that his faults aren’t deal-breakers, and that you’ll love him despite the great amount of patience it requires to be with him. He’s naturally thoughtful and intuitive, knowing what you need before you even know, and there’s a part of you that wanted to tease him on what an expert boyfriend he was. He truly loves you unconditionally, to the point it’s almost worship, which can throw others off but you know better than to take advantage of your loving boyfriend.

Jay Kidman:

Sagittarius Venus. It goes without saying that Jay was a difficult man to pin down, something that might be odd for a man who had a wife at one point, but he admitted to being swept up in the adventure of it all when he was young. He tries to take romance a little more seriously now which is why he doesn’t ‘commit’ to long-term arrangements often, a man who fully enjoyed his singleness as he focused on being a hero. He’s someone who needs the space to be who he is but once you show you not only support him but seek out a life and adventure of your own, he’s more than happy to change what could’ve been a temporary connection into something more permanent.

Having genuine, overwhelming affection suddenly filling his chest gave him an energy that he could only think of doing one thing with. It could be anything innocent, any show of love like doing a task he was actively avoiding, or having a conversation where it showed you truly listened to him.
