Dove's notes: guess who finally caught up with SakaDays *rubs hands* This is just a lil treat lmao. The fandom may be dead, but my horniness shall live on forever.
☆ Gaku
You on top, always.
Gaku has the monstrous strength to tear a person in half with his bare hands. A well built body with a broad back, strong arms and firm abs that are probably harder than any wall you could hit. Everything about him is made of sharp edges and rough. If he wanted, he could have you positioned in ways you can't even begin to imagine without breaking sweat and it goes without saying that your stamina pales in comparison to his. Yet, all that often goes to waste because of his listless nature.
Of course he may be tempted to do whatever sometimes, but by default this guy is just not eager about taking control when things are on, what he calls, “easy mode”. That's why you often end up on top, doing all the hard work while he sits there amused as hell. Oh yeah, he knows.
"Why should I move? This is nice." He cocked his head to the side, a smug glint in those sharp red eyes. His hands coming to rest behind his head while he watched you struggle to stay upright as your knees grew progressively weaker the longer this game went on. Only when you're ready to tap out is when those arms would wrap themselves around your middle and his hips would snap upwards into you. Everyone loves bonus rounds.
Heavy.
This man can be compared to a large dog that still believes is a puppy. Gaku forgets how big he is when he's around you— He literally turns off his brain completely and just follows his instincts, even more than usual. He will drop on top of you when you're sitting on the couch with no warning, letting out a heavy and quite overly dramatic long sigh. Of course he notices a short moment later when you're on the brink of suffocation, but it's not as it's a completely bad thing. After all, he's never gotten any complaints about his weight when his chest is pressing down onto your back, hitting deep into your hungry little cunt while one of his arms is secured around your head.
Fingering for life.
The fact that he's skilled with his hands is no secret, but he has a borderline obsession with fingering you. He will keep your legs spread on the bed with his own while the long and calloused digits hit deep into your gummy walls, dragging out the cutest sounds from you as you came for the third time. Or was it forth? Honestly he doesn't care to keep track. To him all that matters is that adorable dazed expression on your face and the whimpers he would swallow right up when he leans down to kiss your lips, leaving your mind spinning.
69 or 88? both, obviously.
His personality can be rather fickle, which also includes his sex drive. Gaku is not particularly obsessed with mouthjobs in general— Receiving or giving. Of course he enjoys it in the right place and time, but more often than not it's not his go to.
Though, like mentioned before, he's very fickle. Especially so once the two of you get together officially because then he is about as capricious as a spoiled child.
"Don't squirm," He would have the audacity to protest like he was handling just another idle inconvenience and wasn't nose deep into your cunt. Gaku had flipped you around while the two of you were in the middle of making out and without warning all he told you was to "stay still" and then got right to work.
"I can't concentrate if you keep wiggling so much." His breath when he sighed so close to you caused shivers to run through your spine. He may not be the biggest fan of the mess, but he absolutely adores the way your body reacts to him.
★ Asakura Shin
Baby, won't you hold me a little closer?
A loverboy through and through. From the puppy love stage to the blushing while holding hands. Non-sexual intimacy is very important for Shin and this aspect of him will follow during sex.
One of his hands will always be intertwined with yours, regardless— It's not only to calm you down, but himself as well. When he has you pinned under him and things start to get a little heated one of his hands would naturally slip to hold yours while the other cradled your cheek. The subtle squeezes to make sure you're still okay and vise versa is a wordless communication just for the two of you.
Another small thing he loves to do is nuzzling. When you're both close to cumming he'd press his forehead against yours, a string of "Mn...love you, I love you s'much-" whispered between groans while his fingers tightened around yours.
Call it beginner's luck!
This man is 1000% a virgin. Perhaps he had a single girl that got close enough to steal a kiss or two, but it's highly unlikely he actually went beyond that.
Not to fret, however. First timer as he may be, Shin is not as all over the place as one would assume. His mind reading comes in handy for times like this, but that's not what puts him at ease— It's the agreement of always being honest with each other. It was decided much before romance was on either of your minds and is of upmost importance for him.
"I...I've got no idea where to go from here." He'd laugh nervously, his eyes glancing at you with a blush on his cheeks. "So, if you want me to do something specific or don't like something you gotta tell me, got it?" He added with a bit more assertiveness in his voice.
And well, yeah maybe he does abuse his Esper abilities a little bit to make sure everything goes smoothly, but the majority of it? Purely him. Sex wouldn't be immediate once in a relationship so Shin had all the time he needed to learn about the little sweet spots everywhere else on your body and just what pace you enjoyed the most. Virgin as he may be, he's not clueless!
A lil' needy...
Sex is nice and all, but makeout sessions is where Shin really shines.
Everything is so new and overwhelming in the best way possible— All he knows is that he wants to run his hands everywhere, anywhere, and never pull his mouth off yours. That desperation shows quite obviously too because of the damp spot his throbbing, leaking boner would make on his sweatpants. Not that he would have any time to notice, too busy pulling you closer to fit your hips snuggly with his and letting out a pathetic gasp when he pressed his clothed cock agaisnt your panties because Oh god, he severly underestimated how good this would feel.
His hands would intertwine with yours, pinning them next to your head while rutting into you, a mess of wet sounds and weak groans breaking the endless strings of kisses. He can't even tell which thoughts in his head are his, but that's fine since both of you are feeling good.
☆ Nagumo Yoichi
Between a rock and a hard place.
Against the wall, on the desk, against the window, on the floor— Something about flat surfaces just seem to lure Nagumo in like a siren.
Because of his size Nagumo just loves teasing anyone smaller than him, which gets twice as bad in the bedroom. Towering over you when you're stuck between him and anything that makes escaping impossible tickles him so good.
"Ah ah. Didn't I already tell you not to turn around?" The playful scolding is whispered into one of your ears as his free hand easily entrapped both of your wrists behind your back, keeping your chest pressed against the cold wall of the meeting room. "Such a bad listener, seriously..." He sighed woefully, tragic really, were not for the obscene sounds of his hips thrusting relentlessly into your wet pussy.
Liar, liar, pants on fire?!
One word: Roleplaying.
This man loooooooves a good role-play and he will get super into it. I'm talking you give him an inch and he will take you for a ride around the globe. There's absolutely no "cringiness" about it either— If you could match his freak and get into character without getting overly shy or breaking character too often ooooohh he's going feral. He loves doing the one where both of you act as if it's the first time seeing each other.
Some of his other favorites are: Professor x professor assistant, celeb X biggest (stalker) fan, heartbroken recently divorced lady x private detective, MASSEUSE!!, maid X master, husband X wife— He can get reaaal creative about it given the freedom to. (Try and guess which roles are his, you'd be surprise.)
As controversial as it may, Nagumo is really into NTR scenarios— Specifically, he likes the aspect of earning and stealing you away from someone that absolutely does not deserve you. It turns him on a whole lot.
There's no bad time for a good time.
That Nagumo is a high maintenance partner goes without saying, but you underestimate just how high maintenance he can be in the bedroom department.
Well, rarely the actual bedroom. This man loooooooves a good quickie. He calls it his way of "getting through the day"— He will steal you away in the middle of a conversation and while the poor soul you were talking to is busy searching for you or wondering if they're hallucinating, he already locked the both of you inside the cramped supply closet, hands steadily holding you up by your thighs while he kept you quiet with a kiss. "You're being so cold to me when I missed you aaall day long..." His lips trail down the skin of your neck as he pretended to whine, those sneaky hands already unbuttoning your shirt without an ounce of shame. "I guess I'll just have to warm you up the old fashion way, then." The mischiveous chuckle barely registered before you felt his lips latching onto one of your nipples, softly sucking on the small bud and giving the other a small tug between his two fingers.
Not to mention the heart attacks he will give you by suddenly "realizing" he didn't lock the door when someone's voice approaches or pointing out someone is looking at you when he has you pinned against the window. The feeling of your pussy tightening around him as you get all tense and nervous never fails to push him over the edge. What can he say? he's a prankster at heart! He will do just about anything to get your heart racing, in more ways than one, unfortunately for you.
★ Shishiba
Nothing beats eating out.
This man is a true eater.
Shishiba likes to do it the old-fashioned way. He will be on his knees while you're spread out on the edge of the bed all ready for him to dive in. His calloused hands would keep your thighs open when you start to squirm and he is particularly fond of the feeling of your warm, wet walls around his tongue when he starts to open your little hole nice and slow with his own mouth. His nose pressed against your clit is a constant and cruel stimulation and oh he drinks it aaaall up if you squirt. You know him, he hates seeing good food going to waste.
Grab it, pull it, push it!
It took no time at all for you to figure out his hair was a weak spot of his.
When he's eating you out your hands naturally end up tangling in the blond strands and each tug will earn a low moan from him because that goes straight to his cock— Oh and he finds it suuuper hot if you're assertive during times like this and pull on his hair while telling him what you need.
If you have long hair like him he will return the favor when he's behind you, wrapping your locks around his hand tugging on it— Not rough—but with just the right amount of strengh to make your head tilt back towards him.
A real way with words.
Shishiba is an earnest and simple man. Though he may not speak a whole lot normally, it's like a switch is flipped in his brain when the two of you are in the bedroom.
His mouth loses all of its filter and all that comes out are the most romantic and gentlemanly words you will ever hear. He is as straightforward as they come— "My gods, ya look absolutely stunning like this." "That's no good, don't hide that pretty face from me. I'm showin' ya all of me, ain't I?" "You gotta tell me loud and clear if ya want something, love. Hm? Haha, yeah yeah, I'm sorry for teasing ya. I'll treat ya real good, so forgive me, hm?"
It's even worse when you're giving him a treat by going down on him. His head may tilt back a bit, but his eyes would never actually leave you, a single hand brushing your hair away from your face with absolute gentleness in the way he tucks it behind your ear. "Love, ya killin' me here." All his self-control is going into keeping his hips still and letting you do your thing, moaning quietly but unabashed as your lips enveloped his cock. My god, ain't you just the prettiest thing he's laid his eyes on.
content. 1.7k wc ( headcanon + drabble ) , up to 0.3-0.6k words per part , slight hurt with comfort , fluff , slight crack in nagumo’s part , established relationships , (kind of) unhealthy relationships , characters might be ooc , crappy writing , them being absolutely miserable like some kicked puppies , this was a request.
author’s note. sorry for the long wait anon and I have returned with a sakamoto days post la la la !! this was lowkey funny to write because I love boys being absolute losers for their girlfriends yuhh
NAGUMO YOICHI.
he isn't shy at all — actually the very opposite and doesn't really mind if you try to ignore him. instead, he would still find himself trying to converse with you and be all over you despite your clear distaste after the argument. he actually didn't take the argument for something serious yet after realising you were being serious, he tried to pull his act together (still failed to do so).
"Look! I took my day off to keep you company!" he surprised you as he bursted into the kitchen.
Nagumo's eyes immediately landed on your figure at the counter and making your own breakfast, expression filled with blankness and your own gaze glued to the food.
You didn't even bother to glance into his direction. And it just took a tic of him to not lose his mind — he hates getting avoided. Around others like Shishiba or Osaragi? He doesn't care.
Actually he doesn't care at all.
But if it's you? You will notice subtle hints how it's tormenting him.
"What are you doing today hmm?" he hummed and made his way behind you, "let's go out!"
"Alexa, play shut up and drive by Rihanna." you said loudly and continued to mind your own business.
Leaving a message by using Alexa huh?
He planted his chin over your shoulder and let his arms delicately wrap themselves around your waist. "Alex, play sorry by Justin Bieber."
A sigh escaped your lips as you furrowed your brows, eye twitching slightly in annoyance.
"Pleaseeee!" he dragged out the word into its length and began whining, "I'm sorry! Please forgive me!"
No reaction. Instead the sound of your knife hitting the board grew in volume to overturn his own voice.
Just know it was driving him insane as he decided to drop his forehead on your shoulder and leave out a breathless chuckle. "You really know how to push my buttons..." he whispered.
"And you? You don't do that at all huh?" you finally replied.
This was just the start of it.
ASAKURA SHIN.
one word to describe him perfectly? desperate. clearly desperate for your attention and also affection — he may act nonchalant and as if it doesn't take a hit against his whole, don't be fooled. inwardly, he is dying. but he doesn't want to admit it since he still thinks you both were wrong in the argument. what makes it worse, you two worked together the day after.
"Can you pass me the packs?" you questioned loudly and extended your hand.
For Shin? It was a reflex. His hand immediately placed itself over the several packs as he stood in the same aisle, just a few steps away from you. He knew what you needed and was ready to pass it.
"Here!"
But Lu already did, seconds faster than him. Seriously — it was a hit to his face as he realised how he was about to pass you the packs despite knowing you weren't on the best terms.
And he also knows that you were talking to Lu instead of him!
"Thank you, Lu." your lips curled into a carefree smile, "in fact, can you stay here? I need someone to help me."
"Sure! What do you need?" she replied with a cherry smile and neared you impossible close.
Well it wasn't that close, but it was close enough to throw Shin off. His eyes stealing a few glances occasionally as he tried his best to do his own job and ignore you.
On second thought, it was too hard for him to ignore you.
"Can you help me sort this out?" you pointed at the various things and then to the corresponding shelves she should put it in.
Usually, you would've asked him to help you and he wouldn't hesitate to rush to help you. Why don't you ask him though? Even if you are on bad terms, you're still here to work.
Yes. You are work colleagues. You could have asked him and you didn't. It's not like he's disappointed or upset (which he totally is) — yet asking Lu out of all people? The lazy one who had no plan of sorting out the shelves?
Seriously?
He huffed out and immediately snapped his head back ahead, lips forming a straight line and a frown settling on his face.
"Sorry." is all he could mutter out, barely a whisper and too quiet to catch.
He is so desperate.
UZUKI KEI.
tries to brush off your attitude towards him, acting all nonchalant next to you and also doesn't lose many words about the argument. of course he notices that you started to ignore him after the last words shared between you and also — you always start the random conversation. now no one mutters a word. yet he tries to open up a conversation while apologising.
The silence was heavy to say at least. Almost suffocating — which is why Gaku to leave the room and hide in his own, not being able to play well in such heaviness.
Everyone in the group knew what's wrong. With everyone, I meant everyone happened to know about the little fight you and Kei had because of your worries over his safety.
Yet Kei is stubborn. Enough to let the urge grow to rip out all your hair and throw them at his handsome face. Hell you even forced him to eat more!
That man looked like some kind of corpse with those sunken cheeks and empty, dead eyes.
And man, he avoids everything when his own health is involved.
"Thanks, Kumanomi..." he trailed off as he received a meal from his sister.
"No need to thank me, Kei. [name] is right, you should eat more." she folded her arms and disappeared again, mission already accomplished.
What now? Yes, here he sits. On the couch. Next to you. Yet there was some space between you.
The man slowly lifted his head and glanced to you, watching how unbothered you were — watching some silly videos on your phone. His hand raised as he began to stir before taking one bite.
"...I'm sorry." he began slowly yet surely, trailing off since his mind couldn't form a coherent sentence. "Eh... I think uh— you were right."
You listened. Of course you did. But you tried to play it off, eyes glued to your screen while waiting for his next words.
"I should take care of myself more. Thank you for worrying about me... I really appreciate it." he showed his gratitude with a faint smile ghosting over his lips. "I hope you aren't that mad anymore."
He waits. The seconds passing felt like hours. And it urges him to part his lips again.
"Please don't ignore me..."
"You're such an idiot." your eye twitched slightly and eventually looked up from your phone, "hell yes, you should be grateful for my worries. Don't brush it off anymore! And you have to finish this, alright?"
"Yes, ma'am."
That's right, he was miserable.
GAKU.
oh god — good luck with him and silent treatment since he simply does not care. he does enjoy your silence more than anything, moments where you two just sit together, your shoulders touching and embracing the warmth. yet the longer you keep this going, the more annoyed he is. and he also doesn't like the idea of you walking away whenever he enters the room. his patience is slowly wearing thin and at the end, you won.
It's not as if he feels bad — and he also knows you're right when you said you two should spend more time together and go out instead of staying in the hideout all the day.
But you have to accept that Gaku is a hella lazy man, his hands always having to grip onto his phone or gaming console when he isn't busy with the missions or anything.
Yet also you shouldn't also forget — he doesn't even try to put any effort into your dates. Or anything else around the relationship.
No wonder why you are so mad, he understands. It's just, he doesn't understand how to better himself since he's always been like that.
"G'morning..." he muttered and yawned as he entered the room, bare muscles flexing.
"Wear a shirt." Kumanomi immediately narrowed her eyes and scrutinised him.
"Yeah..." he twitched at her glare and lifted his gaze from the screen, searching for your figure. "Where's [name]?"
"[name]-sama just left the moment you set a foot into the room." Kashima pointed at one door.
Surprise, surprise! It was your door to be specific.
"Oh." he let out and rubbed his neck.
"You two should make up." Kumanomi folded her arms, "or else you'll be left miserable."
"What a way to tell me..." Gaku grumbled and made his way to your room.
At the end it was just her way of caring and he's aware, so he doesn't take it in a mean way. She's right. You should make up.
But the moment he opened the door that lead to your room (without the decency to knock), you already rose from the seat and wanted to walk past him.
It irritated him. At first he didn't mind much but now? He doesn't like this petty fight at all.
"Wait a second." he grasped your wrist and dragged you into the room again. "I'm tired of this back and forth. Actually leave out the forth part..."
You stared at him, lips forming a straight line as you raised a brow. "You think I'm not annoyed?" you questioned, "this is how I feel. Sometimes I feel like an obsessive ex following you around."
Silence. He doesn't dare to say something yet, mind too puzzled.
"And now I want you to better yourself. Don't talk to me if you aren't ready yet."
His fingers are still wrapped around your wrist as he parted his lips, trying to form a normal sentence — to reply and not let you stand here alone, to make an effort you aren't the only one talking.
"I... am ready." he whispered under his breath, "I just don't know how to start."
Of course he is willing to try. It's not like he wants this relationship to end.
characters… shin asakura, heisuke mashimo, choso kamo, iketeru daga, ichikawa reno, noe archiviste, louis moriarty, little johnny, lin ling, rafayel, + your favs !
you couldn’t get over how undeniably cute your boyfriend looked under you. with his face flushed, pupils dilated, and messy hair, you couldn’t believe you had gotten yourself someone like him. someone so adorable and sweet, it was like he was begging to be teased.
“[n-name]…”
you removed his hands that were covering his face and smiled at his adorable expression. “don’t cover your face, baby. i wanna see all the cute faces you make.” and he just ever so slightly nodded, but you could tell the compliment went straight to his dick.
“i’m not…”
“keep your hands above your head, pretty.”
you moved his wrists above his head. you took the liberty of sliding your hands under his shirt, allowing your fingers to rest on his stomach. your fingertips were cold, and he shuddered at the contact, gasping as his stomach twitched at every little graze. already, he was struggling to keep his hands above his head.
he couldn’t help but whine so prettily when both your hands grazed over his nipples. “w-wait—! that felt…”
something was wrong with you, you thought. he was so cute, like he wasn’t even aware of the raging boner he was sporting beneath you. and now he couldn’t find the words to describe the feeling of you just ever so slightly playing with his nipples.
“it felt like what? did this feel good?” you pushed one of his nipples up with your thumb and watched him writhe under you. “it looks like you’re really sensitive here, pretty. no wonder you’re so picky about the shirts you wear!”
ugh. the way you call him pretty, tease his body repeatedly, and act so clueless only adds to his embarrassment!
you play around with both of his nipples a little more, tweaking, pulling, and pushing until a sob finally erupted from his throat.
“mmgh—! i—it’s too much!”
his tears! you felt a little guilty not, but then again, you couldn’t deny how pretty he looked. it was like he was the one teasing you! the pressure on his nipples from you was getting too much for him—he couldn't stop himself from whimpering with a buck of his hips.
“we’ll get there sweetheart, okay? i just want to get to know you a little more.”

╰⪼┆nagumo kisses you like you’re both in a constant game of cat and mouse. it’s competitive and intoxicating with a strong surge of adrenaline bustling through your veins but oftentimes it’s fleeting.
he allows for his bottom lip to gently graze yours then retracts himself from your vicinity with the mere purpose of seeing the dazed look on your face that was anticipating more. he enjoys the shocked gasp and reprimand that comes from you, followed by a murmur of “dickhead.” which he classically retorts with, “hey, that’s not nice!”
the roles switches up constantly, something he indulges in, but a sick part of him can’t help but bask in the sight of you desperately grinding down on his clothed crotch with your forehead littered by sweat as you incoherently rasp in his ear for him to kiss you harder. his mouth twists up in a sadistic manner against the column of your neck, “hm? want more neck kisses?” he feigns innocence.
his playing dumb act grinds your gears to the fullest and makes you want to choke him out till your heart’s content but he’d probably brush off your actions with a snippy comeback.
you loudly groan in frustration and his eyebrows pull up at your outburst, your hips halt against his pelvis, “god, do i have to spell everything out for you?” you grab a fist full of his noir hair to perfectly align his head with your face, “kiss me properly, nagumo.. on the lips.”
he likes seeing you all riled up. he tauntingly smirks, “ah! you should’ve just asked, silly.” before you can argue on that’s what you were doing in the first place, he encloses the space, humming contently. your lips moves together in sync, rapidly harmonizing in a sensual way. his tattooed hands slip under your shirt caressing the bare skin but the small delight comes to a pause once he uses his teeth to gently pull at your bottom lip, teasingly letting it go out from his hold. he drily chuckles at you chasing after his lips for more.
╰⪼┆natsuki kisses you like a pornstar in love. it’s lewd but intimate, igniting an untamed flame in the pit of your stomach, rapidly flickering waiting to be extinguished, but your heart beats erratically against your chest with warmth blooming around the organ.
it can be messy at times with his saliva smearing onto your chin and drippling off, or, it can be sweet and memorable leaving you smitten with butterflies for the rest of the day; pick your poison, he doesn’t mind either way.
he likes to sneak up on you— at first it was an occasional habit he’d done unintentionally but now he uses his airy footsteps to his advantage. slithering his toned arm around your stomach to pull you closer to his broad chest and grips at your jaw with his calloused hand to tilt your head upwards to somewhat face him
“open your mouth.” he calmly instructs, as if what he planned to do next was just a run-on-the-mill activity. you comply and suddenly feel a warm droplet of spit land onto your tongue, your eyes widens and before a squeal could erupt from your throat he captures your lips with his.
natsuki pants heavily against your mouth his hot tongue hastily collides with yours as he subconsciously begins to rut himself into your figure, his eyebrows deeply furrows together. his lips are soft on yours but has intensity far too hot to handle. “s-slow down natsu…” your meek voice trembles in between the heated kisses.
his usual nonchalant complacence crumbles apart. his plump lips glistens once he pulls away, a small string of saliva connecting the two of you. “can’t. sorry. you just taste so damn good.” some darken strands of hair stick to his forehead; he’s dizzy but pushes through to quench his thirst.
╰⪼┆shin kisses you like he’s almost afraid of you. he’s not and he swears by it but the way his body stiffens with his shoulders nearing his ears and rigid lips stilled has you thinking the former. he touches you as if you’re a porcelain doll glossed over with iridescent medium, and that sometimes translates into his fear of messing up.
he gets in his head a lot and stays there. but as the relationship progresses, he gains his confidence within his abilities to please you and once that layer of skin grows, that’s all he dedicates himself to. he’s rough which causes teeth to clash but he’s also sweetly passionate with his movements.
an extremely slow day at sakamoto’s store leads to you on top of the store counter with him between your legs. he disregards the opportunity to flip over the closed sign— the thought of being caught fuelled something dubious inside of him.
his large palms roam from your thighs to grazing over your chest eliciting a choked up gasp from you. he’d become too cocky, perhaps for his own good. his lips moved with delicious vigour against yours, slowly increasing the tempo with every passing second. soft grunts and huffs comes from the blond mixed in with your panting.
“is this too much?” he asked as he departs from your space with antsy eyes. you whine restlessly, “it’s not enough.” you tug at the belt loops of his baggy jeans, pulling him back in your vicinity and his face plants in the crock of your neck instead. suckling and nipping at the delicate skin and swirling his tongue around the area. your whimpers fills his ears like a lullaby.
eventually, his ministrations cause a darken bruise to appear. he ogles at the sight that encourages him to continue but an unfamiliar intruding thought enters his mind. a customer outside was planning on coming in and purchasing pockys. and while shin knows it would be morally ethical to put a stop to your activities, he can’t find the strength to do so. he’s completely and utterly drunk off by your smell and touch; what a bad influence you are.
A GUT FEELING . . . Shin has a dilemma: he’s crushing on his civilian co-worker, who’s baffled that he seems to just know better than anyone. His best excuse? “It was just a gut feeling.” Oh, and another dilemma: your thoughts are painfully loud and clear that you’d pounce on him if given the chance.

𐙚 — RAAAAA IM JUST IN A SHIN BRAINROT HES SO BF CODED IM CLAWING AT THE WALLS CUZ I NEED HIM SO BAD
If you told Shin a few months ago that he’d be a convenience store worker in the future, he might have laughed in your face. For starters, he had to learn some things – like how the chime of the convenience store wasn’t as alarming as the sharp click of a safety being disengaged. To him, the fluorescent lights and the rhythmic hum of the refrigerated aisles were like fragments of a dream.
He moved around the convenience store with practiced ease, effortlessly stacking chips and sorting cans. Every now and then, a customer would come in, and he’d follow them with a basket ready on hand, supplied with the items they would want. And while their impressed – and shocked – faces were no longer a new thing for him, it never failed to make his heart do that little fluttering bounce.
At least here, his mind reading abilities weren't weird. It didn’t make him a freak. It didn’t make him creepy or disgusting. He was just Shin, the cashier and convenience store worker, adored by the customers for always anticipating their needs beforehand.
Here, he felt needed.
Closing the refrigerator, he smoothed his apron out. There was just one more area to check when a familiar ding rang around. Looking up, he plastered on his biggest smile, walking over to the automatic sliding doors.
“Hello. Welcome to—” Instantly, Shin was bombarded with a flurry of anxious thoughts. He saw flashes of an eviction notice, of empty cupboards housing only an expired ramen noodle cup, and bedroom lights that flickered twice before the room went completely dark.
Shin couldn’t help but wince.
Clearly, someone wasn’t having the best time, yet the bright smile on your face said otherwise. Perhaps a little too bright for someone who’d skipped breakfast today (your fridge was also, sadly, unoccupied.)
“Hi. I, uh, saw your poster outside. I saw that you were hiring for a part-time worker?”
“Oh,” He blinked. Mr. Sakamoto hadn’t told him anything about it, but he saw glimpses of you walking around the same area a few days ago, your eyes brightening up at the HELP WANTED poster plastered outside. You’d ran home then, emailing the address written down below.
Fighting back a sigh, he scratched the back of his head. “Yeah, I suppose we are, but the owner isn’t around yet. Maybe you can leave your number though? I’ll call you when he’s ready for an interview.”
You tipped your head to the side, a frown on your lips. “Really? It says there to look for Mr. Shin, though, and that–” taking two steps closer, you were suddenly in his face, your eyes narrowed at the sight of his nametag. Shin couldn’t, for the life of him, explain why his senses clouded over at the scent of roses that wafted over him. “–seems to be you. Unless I’m mistaken?”
Roses, with a hint of vanilla.
It had been the last pump of your scented body wash, one you used generously to make an impression for your job interview. Heaven knows you couldn’t afford to be turned down again. And just like that – with the image of you slumping over your shower as the bottle came out empty – Shin’s cheeks flushed a deep red.
He shook his head free from the image. Jeez, he thought, and took a step back until his tailbone hit the counter, I don’t even know this person.
“No, uh, that’s definitely me. Shin, I mean.” Way to go, he cheered sourly, so damn smooth.
Your lips twisted into a grin again. “Great! Then I’m ready. I already have my resume already in case you need to look at it.” Your hands remained by your side, but in your head, he felt it. The need to twitch, to practically shove your papers into his face and get down on your knees, if need be. Hire me, please! I’m a really diligent worker and fast learner! Your mind screamed.
Plucking the resume from your hands, he skimmed through it. “Wow, uh,” Your entire record screamed civilian. Civilian high school, regular background, no criminal record. You wouldn’t fit into this store if you asked him. “This seems… okay. You work the cashier a lot?”
“I did at my past two jobs, yeah. I promise I know my way around,” you wrung your hands together at your back, sending him a sheepish smile. “So… am I hired?”
Your mind began to scream in desperation. The pay wouldn’t be much – you’d have preferred a full-time position, if just to get you by for this month so you wouldn’t be camping out in the streets – but it was better than nothing. Also, Shin’s head was hurting. He never imagined one could be so distressed that their mind was literally nothing but desperate pleas to be accepted.
He was nearly tempted to say yes if it hadn’t been for one fact: you were too innocent to be around someone like him.
“I’ll have to get back to you on that.”
That night during dinner, when Shin’s belly was full with soup and his mouth stuffed with rice, he brought the issue up to his employer. “Sakamoto-san, you never told me you were hiring!”
“Shin-chan,” Hana poked his side, “Mommy says it’s not polite to talk when your mouth is full.”
Shame crept up the back of his neck. Swallowing his food, he placed his bowl down and smiled sheepishly at Hana before turning back to her father. As usual, Sakamoto-san was unbothered. The man was simply scooping more rice back into his bowl.
“You could’ve looked at the posters outside,” he replied in his mind.
“But I wasn’t in charge of cleaning duty, Lu was,” He pointed to the red-head, who was happily passed out beside him, crumbs of rice littered around her mouth. He nudged her awake. “Oi, Lu, did you know you were hiring?”
Lu’s eyes blearily opened. “Huh? Yeah. Sakamoto-san told me to put that up the other day. I thought you would’ve seen.”
“I would’ve if a certain co-worker of mine didn’t leave me to handle stocking up all by myself,” he snorted to himself. It was true that their tasks around the store weren’t fairly divided. Lu always came in late, and did more de-organizing than actually organizing. But Shin cared about the little bugger, and only complained half-heartedly. He knew deep down he’d happily take on her duties if it meant they were all safe under the same roof.
“Sakamoto-san… Not that I’m telling you how to run your shop, but why would we need another worker? And a civilian, at that. Does she even know who she’s working with?”
“Of course not. She doesn’t need to know.”
“But we’re retired hitmen! And Lu’s a mafia family’s daughter!”
“I’m aware.”
Shin couldn’t wrap his head around it. “What if she gets into danger? You know we’ve had hitmen coming in here often. How could she defend herself when that happens?”
“That’s why I’m only hiring for a part-timer. She’d be working with you, or Lu. Never alone. The reason we needed one anyway is because we’re spending less time in the shop. It wouldn’t hurt to have another person helping out.”
“But… Couldn’t we have hired Heisuke? It’d be easier to work without having to hide your identity all the time.”
“Do you really trust Heisuke to check stock and inventory?” At Shin’s defeated expression, Sakamoto continued eating. “I already checked her background. She’s good. Tomorrow is her first day, and she works the first shift with you. Teach her everything she needs to know.”
Truthfully, Shin hoped it was going to be that easy. He’d already taught Lu everything before, starting from the basics to contacting the suppliers whenever they ran out of something. It really wasn’t as complicated as it seemed. It all just depended on the person. He believed if one was determined enough, they’d get the hang of it easily. If he’d taught Lu and survived, then teaching you – someone who already has knowledge with the cashier – should be a breeze.
Only it wasn’t.
Now that you had your head up in the clouds at being hired, and having a stable job, your mind was now only noticing other things. Those other things being Shin.
What a beautiful shade of blond hair, you mused once, when he was telling you which items went with which, and why they were in those specific aisles. Or is it golden? it looks more golden when the sunlight hits him. And why the hell is he a convenience store worker? Someone that good-looking should be doing something else. Modeling, maybe? But nah. He’s got more of that boy-next-door vibe.
Shin hoped the ground would open up and just eat him. “It’s only day one,” he tried to comfort himself, “She’s just getting used to things.”
Oh, how wrong he was.
As the weeks passed, he learned that everything you thought about yourself was true. You were a diligent worker, and an extremely fast learner – when you weren’t distracted by his long, elegant fingers, that was. You often volunteered to work overtime, or cover Lu’s shifts for her when she slept in again. Shin thought it showed your determination to work. Maybe you needed that overtime pay badly, to make ends meet.
Unfortunately for you (and him), he could read minds, and your mind wasn’t as subtle as your actions were.
On the day Lu didn’t come in again when she was supposed to, you offered to stay behind. “It’s really okay,” you told him, turning your nose the other way as you bit your cheek. Shin had taken off his apron and rolled his sleeves all the way up to his elbow, checking just how much more meat was left in the freezer. Oooh la la, he heard from your mind, your teeth sinking into your cheeks as he saw an image of his forearms of all things. Look at those veins. Damn it, why did my co-worker have to be so fine?
Shin coughed out loud. Although your mind never hid your blatant interest in him, he never got used to it. He didn’t think he was special, much less… appealing to someone like you.
How would you react anyway, once you found out he wasn’t as ‘adorable’ or ‘drool-worthy’ as you thought? He was a hitman. The hands you dreamt of holding were once stained with blood.
“So,” he began, “What were you doing before you started working here? And why this store of all places?”
He already knew the answer to all of those. He already knew you dropped out of university to tend to your sick mother, the reason why you moved back to this town. He already knew you’d given up on your dreams, left your friends – and even a partner behind – to focus more on family. He already knew that behind your easily accommodating, eager to please persona, you were just as sad and lost as everyone else.
Not that he was going to say it out loud. He never meant to read people’s minds all the time, but it was hard to control.
“Well hmm…” you started, fidgeting with the ties of your apron as you avoided his gaze.
In your head, insecurity gnawed at you. Despite your growing crush on Shin, you would’ve actually preferred he kept his distance like he always did. And Shin tried not to be bothered by this thought – tried.
“I didn’t actually plan on being a part-time worker. I wanted to be an artist, actually. To illustrate children’s books.”
Shin knew this, too. Whenever your morning shifts ended, you picked Hana up from school. You two would spend a lot of time upstairs drawing and doodling. Hana’s compliments at your skills always left you feeling warm. So much so that when you walked downstairs and said goodbye to him, Shin could feel that giddiness in your heart. Could see it in the way your eyes lit up, how your smile turned just a bit more shy and a little less forced. Your customer service smile, he called it. He preferred that genuine smile of yours more.
“You’d be a great one,” he found himself saying, leaning against the closed freezer as he looked at you. “I’ve seen your drawings. Hana puts them up in her room, and Ms. Aoi has some taped on their kitchen too.”
You bit your lip and avoided his gaze. He could see the images flickering in your mind. Nights spent staying up to submit the art projects, hanging out late into the night drinking with friends, how you loved being pushed up against a wall as your ex-boyfriend kissed you.
Now those images, Shin could do without.
Really, he didn’t know when it began – when he started noticing the little things you weren’t aware of. The constant stain of ink or graphite on your hands, the smears of charcoal on your favorite white university shirt. (He Googled it once, unsurprised that it was a fancy art school.) He thought maybe that was how you were so quick with your hands. The fastest and most efficient cashier. He’d told Sakamoto-san about you, and it wasn’t difficult to have a pay raise encouraged and arranged. He still remembered that day your eyes glistened with tears at the generous pay. He’d hoped you’d get yourself something nice, maybe a new set of pencils, but instead, you went with another day of skipping breakfast to keep up with your mom’s medical bills.
“That’s surprisingly sweet,” you smiled shyly, “Ms. Aoi and Hana really are such kind people, aren’t they?”
“They are.” Sakamoto and his family accepted him without a second thought, welcomed him into their home and gave him a seat at their table like it was the most normal thing in the world. They did the same thing to you – constantly offering to have you for dinner, but you never stayed too late. You headed straight to the hospital each time.
Unsure of what else to say, Shin picked up four Twix bars and scanned it silently. When he placed it down in front of you, you raised a brow up at him. “Twix bars,” he nudged them your way, suddenly feeling overly self-conscious the longer you looked at him. “Aren’t they your favorite?”
Your lips twitched into a smile. “They are, but how’d you know?”
I can read your mind, and you used to always eat them whenever you were sad. “A gut feeling,” he shrugged. “I thought they might, I don’t know, help you feel better.”
“They do,” you finally opened one, the other offered to him, “But why four? Is it so much better than just, say, two bars?”
“Yeah.” Once, when you were both cleaning up the shop, he heard your faint stream of thoughts. Four twix bars are always enough to get me by. If only I could have the luxury of snacks right now. But alas, the only snack I can have is my absurdly cute co-worker.
If possible, Shin’s entire body flushed red. “I have a gut feeling it is,” he said again, and finally turned his back to you.
The sound of your laughter was the last sound he heard before he retreated into the supply room, where he shamelessly smiled to himself in the dark.
After that one time Shin gave you four Twix bars, the invisible wall of casual politeness slowly turned into something more.
You began to linger at the register after your shift, making conversation with him and asking about his life and what he liked to do in his free time. He couldn’t tell the truth, of course. So he went with the safest answer that he sometimes liked to play paintball with Heisuke (and absolutely not so he can learn to dodge his friend’s impeccably precise rebound shooting skills.)
Tonight, you were bent over organizing canned food, and the silence lingering in the shop no longer felt tense and awkward. He simply reveled in the sound of your soft humming, and the steady whir of the air condition.
Beside you, Shin was meticulously arranging the bags of chips, rotating each one to face a perfectly uniform direction. You suppressed a giggle, but it was too late. His gaze flicked up to you, a question in his eyes at your unabashed grin. “What?”
“You know,” you bit your lip, your voice low and teasing. “I always wondered what a highly-trained, former special-ops type of person would do to keep their hands busy in retirement. I have noticed that for such a soft looking face, you have some pretty rough hands.”
Shin felt his heart drop, a bag of sour cream and onion chips suspended in mid-air.
She knows? Holy shit, but it can’t be. I’d been so careful. How could she know? Who told her? Did she see me or Sakamoto-san? Did Lu babble when she was drunk again? But that’s impossible, I don’t even do that kind of thing anymore – well not much, and I’ve stopped killing people. That’s the number one rule in the Sakamoto Family Rulebook.
You laughed – the sound soft and warm. “Oh my God, I’m just kidding! You should’ve seen the look on your face! But you have to admit, that’s some serious attention to detail,” leaning in, you bumped your shoulder playfully into his. “That’s some hitman-level precision, huh? Making sure no one steals the cheddar puffs? I know you hide them in the back aisle so you’ll never run out for yourself.”
Shin was baffled. “What? I – how’d you even know that?” He did, in fact, hid the cheddar puffs in a place no one would notice.
“You’re not the only one who spends their time watching people, you know.”
His ears, a part of him that he had no control over, turned red. He cleared his throat and mumbled something about ‘standard operating procedures’ before he turned to you again. “And where did you even hear that from? Hitman level precision? Former special ops? You’ve been watching way too many action movies with Nagumo.”
You threw your head back in laughter. “His blockbuster films are kinda nice,” you defended, “And I heard them from Heisuke. He joked once how he had the coolest friends – retired assassins and legendary hitmen. Said you didn’t look the part, but that you had crazy precision in shooting.”
Shin froze. “In paintball, yeah.”
“Well, duh,” you snorted, returning to the task at hand and stealing the bag of chip from him, putting it to where it belonged. “You’re strangely competitive over paintball. Give Heisuke some break, will you?”
Oh, he’ll get a break, alright, Shin gritted his teeth, cursing his friend whose mouth was too loose.
Unbeknownst to him, you watched him struggle with a soft smile on your face. Stepping back, you chuckled to yourself at the sight of Shin’s dilemma. The truth was, you found his flustered awkwardness incredibly endearing. He was thoughtful and observant, but painfully unaware of his own selflessness.
He had no idea you’d gone from seeing him as just a quiet coworker, who you occasionally shared a laugh with, to a guy you’d seriously been considering to date.
Just as Shin’s alarmed gaze suddenly snapped to you, the bell above the door chimed. Mr. Sakamoto stepped out, his face neutrally cool. “Still here, you two? It’s past closing time,” he shared a knowing look with Shin, who started glaring at the floor. Then, Mr. Sakamoto’s face changed just the slightest, with a hint of a smile. “Aoi made an extra big batch of dinner tonight. It would be lovely if you could both join.”
Shin braced himself for the disappointment. It’d been months now since you started working here, and you always politely declined. Though maybe he wouldn’t mind your absence tonight that much. His mind was still reeling from the fact that he’d heard your thoughts loud and clear – I wonder what it’s like to go on a date with Shin.
Date. A date. With him.
Mr. Sakamoto was right. There was no point in pretending to be immune to sweet smiles and kind eyes. Even he, the legendary hitman, had gladly fallen in love. It wouldn’t be wrong if Shin just gave in. Don’t fight it, he heard Mr. Sakamoto think, if you fall, you fall.
Taking off his apron, Shin stretched his arm out, waiting for you to hand yours back. This time, you surprised him by enveloping your hands with his. “I’d love to go to dinner.”
Oh, your mind gushed, his hand is so much warmer than I thought it’d be. I could get used to this.
Mr. Sakamato’s face remained impassive, but his snickering thoughts couldn’t be any louder.
Deep down, Shin had a gut feeling that it would all work out just right.
The walk from the store to the train station was just a handful of blocks, but it felt like the longest, most important journey of Shin’s life. He walked beside you, and couldn’t help but feel like the small space between your bodies kept getting smaller and smaller. Was it you inching closer to him, or was it his hands itching to reach out to yours?
Whatever it was, he was thankful you couldn’t read his mind. On the outside, he kept a cool, composed appearance. But on the inside? Hell, his palms were practically sweating. He couldn’t hold your now. But he could step a little bit closer, making up an excuse that it was just cold tonight. Keep it cool, he told himself, no need to let her know you’re a total virgin when it comes to dating.
And because the heavens found pity on him, you didn’t seem to notice the man practically fumbling.
The conversation was easy, nothing but soft murmurs in the night air. You could be talking about the most mundane of things - like a funny customer from this afternoon - and he’d still be listening with both ears, and his mind. In your head, you broadcasted that warm, giddy feeling of sitting next to him in dinner. How easy it felt to sit cross-legged next to him and share warm meals like it happened on the daily. How comfortable it was to be in the same space as him. How right it felt.
And you’d been beyond elated over the Sakamato’s warm welcome. It made you feel a little guilty for having turned them down before. If you’d known how much you’d enjoy it, you might have joined them from the start. (Shin wished you did.)
“You know, Sakamoto-san asked me what my plans were,” you said, your voice softening. Shin’s guard immediately went up, already anticipating the worst of disappointments. What were you going to say? Are you going to quit now? Did you think I’m a sloppy eater and no longer want to go out with me? Not that I asked you out, but I was planning to. He promised he was planning to. He didn’t drink liquid courage for nothing.
Instead, you shared what he already knew. How you quit school to take care of your mother, something you never mentioned before. Just like that, he felt a wave of both worry, exhaustion, and relief flood over your mind all at once.
“She’s finally okay,” you croaked out, and the mental image of your mother’s warm hands squeezing yours was so vivid, he swore he was also there. “I think I can finally go back. I’ve saved up enough, and… if it weren’t for you, Hana, and Ms. Aoi, I would have given up on school altogether.”
Shin was at a loss of what to say.
He knew he should be happy. Should be overjoyed, really, that things were finally working out for you. But as the station’s concrete structure came into view, his panic began to set in. This… romantic saga you had was coming to an end. The simple joy of just walking beside you, checking inventory with you, working at the register with you, was about to be interrupted.
He didn’t even have a chance yet to tell you what he felt. Or did you even want him to? You never voiced it out. You suddenly holding his hand could be a friendly gesture, for all he knew.
Stopping at the entrance, Shin was brought back to reality by the harsh fluorescent lights.
The two of you stood there for a moment – the convenience store and this too good to be true night behind you – the rush of the train station ahead.
You looked up at him, a sweet, hopeful expression on your face. Should I say thank you? Should I hug him? Maybe that’s too much. It isn’t, he swore it. Hug me, he nearly begged. Don’t go. What if I just… Before you could finish that thought, your hand came up to his arm, leaning until you were close enough to hear his erratic pulse. Your lips, soft and warm, touched his cheek.
Shin’s mind went blank. So quiet that he jumped at the squeals coming through your own.
Oh shit, I did it! But he’s so quiet now… Oh no, did I freak him out? Was I too forward? Fuck, well at least this might be my last day and I’ll never have to see him–
As if he’d let that happen.
Just as your panic bubbled up, he recalled a memory he’d shamelessly experienced vicariously through you. From dinner. From that time you spaced out at work while Shin sucked on a lollipop, and your eyes couldn’t take itself away from the sight. From when he threw his head back in laughter, and your throat felt dry at his throat muscles working. He felt your mind drift then. Those times, you weren’t thinking of past partners. Just him. And the idea of a perfect, toe-curling kiss.
You’d basically taught him how to sweep you off your feet. You just didn’t know it yet.
Shin took a deep breath.
For the first time in his life, he wasn’t acting on a hit order or a panicked reflex. He acted purely on feeling (and of constantly re-watching your daydreams where he kissed you.)
He reached out, his hands trembling slightly, and cupped the soft skin of your jaw. His thumbs gently tracing the line of your cheekbone. Your eyes widened, and in your mind, he heard a surprised gasp of pleasure, the small sound enough to make his pants feel uncomfortably tight.
Taking a step forward, he pressed you back against the station’s cold, stone pillars. A train roared by, its powerful gust of wind making his hair brush back against his face. Just do it. Just do it. Shin leaned down and kissed you, his lips soft and pillowy against yours. And, oh.
He’s a damn good kisser.
Of course he was, he thought smugly. He kissed you the way he knew you liked. You liked it when a guy cupped your jaw. You reveled in the feeling of being gently pinned against something, so utterly helpless that you couldn’t help but be cocooned in someone’s strong, warm arms. It was the kind of thought a hitman like him would never have. A kind of trust Shin would never experience had it not been for the people who saved him.
His mind, so used to being a weapon, had given him a gift. A map that led him straight to your heart.
Your body melted into his, a surrender so complete he was unsure he deserved. He heard your thoughts of joy and unabashed adoration, thankful that the train was so loud you couldn’t hear how his own heart raced.
All he knew was that he’d found a quiet life – it was just a little loud on the outside.
But the roaring of his heart faded, and the thoughts flooded back in, all of them beautiful and pure. Too pure. His quiet life had just come face to face with the messiness of his past. The two could never co-exist. Not when this tender kiss felt like a betrayal, that your feelings were built on the lies of his hidden identity.
Shin pulled away, the movement startling you. “Shin,” you noted his widened eyes, his ragged breath. “What’s wrong? Did I do something?”
“I-I have to tell you something,” he blurted out. He could do it – hopefully it was just like ripping off a band-aid. “I’m… I’m not who you think I am. And neither is Sakamoto-san, or Lu, or Heisuke–”
“Shin, breathe.”
He did as he was told, loosening his hold out of fear he might crush you. The words just tumbled out, fast and clumsy. “We used to be… It’s all in the past, but we were hitmen. We’re both retired, I swear, it’s just… Sometimes things happen, and we need to protect our family, so we may or may not get involved in something ugly again. And I-I can read minds. It’s how I knew you liked to eat Twix bars when you’re sad, and how I knew you liked to be kissed. And you know, I-I, I can accept if this is too much to handle. If you’d want to walk away…”
Shin bent his head down in shame, realizing that for the first time, he’d been so absorbed in his own thoughts that he couldn’t hear yours. “I haven’t been part of that world in a long time. And I would never hurt anyone. I just… I had to tell you, I’m sorry. I swear I never meant to keep lying to you.”
He braced himself for the worst. For the shock, the disgust, the fear. He wouldn’t be a stranger to it. He’d already prepared himself to see your mind fill with terror, with betrayal, and watch you walk away. Instead, a soft laugh escaped you. Moving closer, you cupped his face in your hands, and kissed him again.
This time, your mind was as calm as it was still lightly fluttering. No panic, no fear, no thoughts of wanting to leave. When you pulled back, a mischievous glint in your eyes, you were met with Shin’s shocked, confused face.
“Shin,” you said, your voice barely a whisper. “I know.”
His mind went completely blank, the mental static deafening. “You… you know?” he stammered, his voice barely a whisper. “How?”
The words were playful, but they didn’t match the sudden, vivid memory that replayed in his head. A drunken Lu, on the night of the store’s anniversary party, slurring at a corner. “You’d never know it when we party together like this, but we used to be involved in some shady stuff, you know? The boss, Shin, me… we’re a family. Just one you don’t want to mess with.”
You gave him a knowing smile, your shoulder lifted in a one-shouldered shrug. “Just a gut feeling.”
And then, another flash: of Heisuke, with Piisuke chirping on top of his head. You’d given him popsicles to battle the midday heat. “You really are the best,” he’d gushed, “I gotta say, it really isn’t that bad to have another civilian around. We can do with more normalcy.”
You’d laugh it off, confused about what he meant. But the seed had been planted, and looking back at it now, not even Sakamoto-san had been discreet. His scarily accurate aim with his ballpoint pens. His ‘hidden’ button for his ‘hidden’ stash of guns that just screamed suspicious. It made Shin feel a new kind of fluster, one deeper than just shyness.
“You knew all this time?”
“It doesn’t matter,” you reassured him, the humor in your thoughts ringing true to your words. “I mean, I was freaked out at first, but I’ve spent enough time with all of you to believe you all mean well. Besides, I’m here now, and so are you. All that matters is that you’re a good person, Shin.”
Heat crept up Shin’s neck. “But the mind reading thing, did you know about it, too?”
“That one was a surprise,” you confessed, wrapping your arms around his neck to pull him closer. “But I really don’t mind. You can go ahead and read my mind right now. See what you wanna do about it.”
Shin was greeted by a mental image of him (not so gently) pushing you against the pillar again, your lips crushed together, chests pressed into one another. He saw a flash of tongues colliding – aaaaand he was flustered again. Groaning, he closed his eyes, his forehead resting against yours. “Now you’re just teasing me.”
If you told Shin a few months ago that the convenience store’s ding wouldn’t be his favorite sound in the world anymore, he would have laughed in your face. Nothing could top that sweet, calming sound that reminded him he knew peace now.
Not unless it was your melodious laugh that made warmth spread all over his chest.

Gaku
You’ve been seeing eachother for about a month now, and it’s not bad so don’t get him wrong. It’s rare for him to actually care about another person especially with how much he’s liked you… but that being said he can’t tell if you feel the same.
He found it amusing at first, when you found out he was an assassin, and you just shrugged saying in a tone that’d make most think he was telling you what’s for dinner. “K.”
That’s it, there was no questions, no fear, no nothing. And he thought for sure finally someone who can appreciate not overreacting over everything would match him perfectly… in recent days it’s become slightly annoying though.
“I’m home.” He says with a yawn throwing his shoes off of course. You looked over at him, face and shirt covered in blood. You give him a look about to ask but he responded quickly. “Not mine.”
And so you nod getting back to your show. “Figured.” Thats it? He means, he’s glad you’re not some sobbing bitch on-top of him telling him he needs to stop but…. A little concern wouldn’t hurt time to time.
“Figured aye?” He replied, matching your tone as he plops on the couch. In which you comment. “You’re going to get the cushions stained, might want to take that off you comment.”
That’s what you cared about? Gaku chuckled under his breath, both amused and annoyed. Taking his bloodied shirt off sitting back down. Moving closer to you. “Better?”
You nod, scanning his torso for a moment. Which he took notice to, “like what you see?” He ask with a sly smile, his hand now drawing circles on your skin. Which you don’t seem to care for in the slightest replying.
“Nah just wanted to make sure you weren’t injured.” You reply in the same cool tone. Okay now he was slightly more annoyed, over the fact one you don’t seem to care about the proximity. And two… if you were checking if injuries it would mean you were worried right? Yet here you were with the same expression as always.
“Really? Any reason for that?” He ask looking at the TV switching it to his game lazily still drawing patterns in your shoulder. And you think for a moment before answering.
“Just know sometimes you hide stuff so figured I’d check.” And while you didn’t sound like you directly cared with that tone…. Those words did warm his heart. And that’s how it usually would go. And honestly, he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Yoichi Nagumo
To say he was confused to say the least. While Nagumo was by no means normal—I mean let’s be real he’s a freak (affectionately). But even with that he knows that your attitude wasn’t normal, not in the slightest. Maybe it was because, Nagumo was the opposite of you where he’d be overly expressive, while you well… weren’t.
“Mmmm the perfume you’re wearing is good.” He comments playfully into your neck. Which yeah, it was good but his main goal was get a reaction out of you. Just something to showed how he affected you. “Got it a few days ago, it’s my first time wearing it.”
You comment as if you could be less affected by the proximity. Hell you didn’t even play along and at least tease him by saying something like ‘I could wear it more often if you like.’ Nothing. Notta. Seriously Nagumo was wondering how the hell you guys even got together because, in the past he very rarely did relationships. And when he did… well his partner was usually more passionate.
“You know, a little thanks or blushing wouldn’t hurt you?” He teases more burying into you neck more. You open your mouth, then close it, then open it again because, you were thinking—confused. “Do you want me to thank you?”
“I wouldn’t be against it if you did.” He replies humming arms now slung around your torso, lazily leaning his weight against your back. “Or is that too much of a stretch for you?” He ask with a mock wounded expression.
And to be clear, it’s not that Nagumo hated your indifference or held it against you. He thought frankly it was quiet charming and cute, considering the fact to he’s surrounded by so many heavily emotion driven people. You’re a change of pace.
That being said… when a relationships as far in as you two you’d think there’d be atleast a little bit of vulnerability.
As the room was quiet for some time he can’t help commenting in an amused tone, though his words carried some vented weight to them. “Sometimes I wonder if you really care about me.”
“I care.” You respond in that always neutral tone of yours. And usually Nagumo isn’t one to get worked up over simple words. But god the way you…. His hands twitched as he felt his aggravation flare for a second before switching to his normal behavior. “Welllll caring a little more would be appreciated. Now I have to go bug an old friend, see you later.”
Before you could respond he’s already gone.
Shin
This man even with clairvoyance felt like he couldn’t read your thoughts. Even if they were right infront of him. He just couldn’t wrap his head around it.
Most notably today. He came over to your place later then what you guys had agreed upon, he was explaining what happened. Being caught up fighting Slur’s men and such. And what does he see in your mind as he explains. Just a single passive thought.
‘Damn I guess that means no going out to that new hotpot place…. I guess I have leftovers…’
“Seriously I’m telling you I almost died and you’re thinking about dinner?!” He ask exasperated as you reply.
“Oh, I forget you can read minds, my fault.” My fault?! Surly now you were just trying to mess with him, but as he read your mind it was like sakamoto personally punched him in the gut.
‘If he doesn’t want to eat why is he here… if he really just wanted to tell a story he could’ve sent a text.’
“Hey who says I didn’t want to eat?!” He ask in the most shin way possible adding on. “Just listen to me first then we can find somewhere to eat!”
…
And yet somehow you guys ended up ordering and getting DoorDash before he could finish his story.
Seba Natsuki
Man was this a match made in heaven for Natsuki. A partner who he didn’t have to care 24/7 for nor did they seem to care that much either? Perfect.
“Had to work overtime, can’t go out tonight.” He says as he walks into the shared living space where you reply back. “K.”
Perfect. No extra questions, no hassling, not even some kind of physical demand that he felt most were after when they tried to get with him. Finally someone who just lets him breath.
He takes a shower exhausted as he lays in bed. You join shortly after briefly commenting. “I’m going to get changed.” And so he nods. You made things easy for him, he got the comfort of a relationship and the connection of it without all the unneeded formalities.
That being said, if you asked for more… he’d be willing, just as you’d do the same. There was a mutual understanding like that between the two of you. Caring without the need to dramatize it.
Slipping into the bed next to him he turns the lamp off on his side of the bed. “Going to bed.”
In response you turn your own lamp off nodding. “K.”
Perfect.
Ngl I wanted to write more with Natsuki but I felt like it would’ve got really repetitive super fast. But he’d 10000% love a more laidback partner then one up in his space imo considering how much is already demanded from himmmmm
Also SORRY ABOUT NAGUMO’S I didnt reallly think it was like super angsty or anything until I reread it and near the end I was like ‘damn I feel bad for the guy :’<' (I want to say canonically I don’t think Nagumo would ever be vulnerable like that given the context or atleast in the way I wrote it but….)
But yeah hoped yah’ liked it it’s my first anon request on this account so I hoped I did well, as always like/reblog/comment and see you next post (hopefully)!
⛓️💥 sakamoto days men ft. lingeries (18+ suggestive, explicit but only in gaku's)
⟡ ݁₊ shin
would internally combust when he first saw you wearing one, steam coming out of his ears as his brain tries to comprehend such a wonderful sight. shin adores you greatly, and when you put on something that makes you even more beautiful, he thinks he could just kiss the ground you walk on.
it probably takes him a while to get used to it (as in get used to looking at you wearing a lingerie without getting red faced and messing up his words every so often), but when he does, best believe he'd be asking you to wear them more often so that he could give it to you so good for blessing his eyes with such a gorgeous view.
⟡ ݁₊ . nagumo
two words, knife play. this guy absolutely enjoys watching the skimpy pieces of fabric (and in extension, you) fall apart at his hands. the way you shiver when he teases by slowly and torturously dragging the cold, blunt side of his knife against your warm skin, your breath hitching as more and more of your body gets revealed to his eyes.
you'd sometimes nag at him for ruining such beautiful and expensive purchases, but — well, he got money to spare. he could buy you a whole lingerie store if you want, if only you would wear them and look pretty all for him. probably favors the ones in red the most too.
⟡ ݁₊ . natsuki
ceo of taking you while the set you're wearing is still on, ceo of slipping his fingers underneath any fold he could reach, ceo of having you stand in front of him so that he could just. stare at you. gaze upon your stunning self and maybe let his hand wander a lot bit, taking in every inch of skin that he could indulge in before eventually going to the main event(?).
loves groping you through the bra/panties. also loves when you ride him while wearing them. also loves garter belts.
⟡ ݁₊ . gaku
initially, he didn't see the point in buying fancy undergarments. in the end, he'd be stripping them off of you anyway, so why bother, right? it's only until he came home one day to you, bent over the vanity in nothing but a lingerie under a thin, almost see-through shirt. gaku swore to god he'd never popped a boner so fast in his life. since that day, you'd come to notice the way his eyes would light up — though not that obvious, but there's a certain glint in his eyes whenever he finds you wearing a set underneath your clothes.
oh and he's grown to love tugging your underwear to the side and sliding his cock against your pussy. not exactly thrusting in, but the wet, sticky friction is enough to have both of you cumming hard and staining your panties dark in slick (his current favourite view. second place on the podium is you wearing the lingerie itself).
Hi!! I wasn't sure if your requests were open or not, but I wanted to request the reader feeling jealous over the sakadays guys? (Especially Nagumo, Shin, Gaku, and Uzuki)
Thank you 💐
Jealous over him?
Cw: Jealousy; gender neutral!reader; public indecency (somewhat)
Characters used: Shin, Nagumo, Gaku, Uzuki
Synopsis:
It was peaceful. Both you and him just wanted a quiet evening to yourselves. Nothing over the top. Just something to do while alone together after so long. That was what it was supposed to be. All it needed to be.
So why was this lady here— smiling and giggling while getting way too close to your man? And in your face too??????
Shin Asakura
He was genuinely baffled. Nothing about this was expected. All he wanted was a peaceful walk in the park— hand-in-hand with his partner.
So who was she?!
It honestly took a while for his brain to process what was taking place. And when it did, you were already stepping in front of him and telling her off. Naturally, Shin was quick to try to defuse the situation, holding you back while shooing her off. It was then that he plainly mentioned his relationship with you. He even tugged you that slightest bit closer too! (Which only seemed to add colour to his cheeks.)
Once he'd gotten her away, he sat you on a bench to calm you down. Silence hung over you. Neither of you knew exactly how to address the issue. It was only broken when the clairvoyant cleared his throat.
"Just know that I wouldn't... I like you too much for that."
Yoichi Nagumo
This guy. He fed off it. The millisecond he felt your heated glare at the waitress, his grin only widened. So he let the ball keep rolling.
Occasionally, he'd add his own subtly flirtatious remarks— keeping her enticed while fanning the flames of your rage. It took way too long for her to leave with your orders. But by then, you were fuming! And with Nagumo being Nagumo, he kept that radiant, charming smile that both made your heart throb, but also want to jump the table and wrap your hands around his throat!
Even though you knew that he took great pleasure in seeing you frustrated, you still couldn't let the waitress slide. Because who did she think she was?! Couldn't she see that you were clearly on a date?!
No matter, you could still solve it without causing a scene. So any and every time she returned, you made a show of holding Nagumo's hand across the table or calling terns of endearment with the sickeningly sweet tone. The raven-haired man would return every exaggerated gesture with one of his own— running his tattooed fingers over your knuckles, feeding you bites of his food, while swiping some off yours and giving cringe-worthy nicknames.
She seemed to take the hint and backed off. So you relaxed. Pay time arrived and she was back with the bill. As goofy as Nagumo was, he rarely ever let you take the bill, so he'd cracked it open first— ready to pay and get done with it. But there, he saw it. Written in neat handwriting was her number. He hummed, before settling the bill and waiting for her to return.
When she did, her smile was friendly, innocent. It made your eye twitch. Nagumo mirrored her smile, extending the booklet to her. He swiped it back before she could actually take it and turned his gaze to you. A mischievous glint darkened his eyes. Neither you nor the waitress had enough time to question as he pulled you in for a loud, sloppy make out session— tongue and all.
Staff paused. Diners stared. Children had their eyes covered. He made a show of it, pinning you to you seat and dragging you back in for more whenever you pulled away. Eventually, he separated from you, slowly licking his lips to savour the taste of you on them. He handed the waitress the bill and pulled you up with him by the waist. You were dazed beside him as he flashed a wide smile.
"Thanks for the service. I really enjoyed my meal."
The both of you were banned from that establishment.
Gaku
To his merit— and your semi-relief— he was unbothered. Sure, she was giggling, was way too generous when giving compliments on his gaming skills, dropping her voice to give off that seductive allure. But he was simply unphased.
You, on the other hand, glared at her through the monitor. Every innocent giggle, loud gasp of amazement and not-so-subtle remark only served to grate your nerves even further.
It was only after a few rounds did he start to suspect something was off. Your button mashing was done with far more aggression than usual. And for whatever reason, you always seemed to kill her first. Every. Single. Round. It got to the point that you'd spend the entire round hunting her down and getting a lower score.
But still, he kept his thoughts to himself. Instead, he started another round. Unfortunately, the girl got more bold, blatantly asking for any of his socials. Beside him, you seethed.
Not that it really mattered as he'd immediately logged off the game. You blinked in surprise. "Huh? What was that for?"
"The game got boring. Let's pick another."
And that was the end of it.
Ken Uzuki
Another unbothered king!
On the exterior. Internally, he was mildly annoyed. This was far too much trouble for a quiet night. But to be polite, he let the lady do her thing till she got bored.
You on the other hand, couldn't let that slide! Your arms wrapped around one of his own as you loudly cleared your throat, forcefully announcing your presence. She glanced at you, then your linked arms before offering some snide remark. This only angered you further.
Sensing your murderous intent, Uzuki only wrapped his free arm around you to hold you back. He excused the both of you before finding somewhere quiet to relax. Still, he was pissed. Was it too much to ask for a night without bloodshed— alone with his partner?!
Still, it wasn't all ruined. He could salvage this. And that he did. His arms wrapped around you as he buried his face into the crook on your neck.
"You needn't worry. I'm yours, just as you are mine. It'll stay like that till the end of time."
a/n: This unironically made me struggle— especially Uzuki's! Why is he so difficult to write?!?!?!!
And again, I went overboard with Nagumo's.✌🏽😭
But ohhhh! Double post! Your girl is on a roll!!!!
