I think most of the helix waltz fandom is in a silent agreement to head canon Gonzalo as a petty bitch and while I fully believe he can be like that sometimes, a lot of people forget that he’s actually really sensitive and sweet. Like that time he started crying when he was trying so hard on a new look and people made fun of him instead of appreciating him, or when he excepted Magda as his best friend. He’s really precious you guys, and while I 100% support petty bitch Gonzalo, I’d like to bring awareness towards sweetheart Gonzalo because he’s valid too.

Let’s also not forget that Tilla’s first three favor quests are about Gonzalo digging on his mother’s past for ideas on presents that which would make her happy, now that she has all the weight of her family’s reputation on her shoulders.

The way Gonzalo also donates upon hearing Alan would admire him if he did so, might be an indication of how much Gonzalo wants to be liked by his friends and family. He’s a sweetheart for real, but Goddes may help you if you don’t appreciate his efforts in going the extra mile for you.
