Jehan nodded, trembling slightly “Oui, Monsieur” he murmured, eyes falling to the ground as he was let go. He knew already that he was nothing special to his master, just another slave- disposable. Still, a part of him felt let down at the observation.
"Don't look so hurt," he scoffed, rolling his eyes at the other. "There are much worse places you could be right now," he reminded him

Grantaire smiled genuinely as he felt his master’s arm wrapping around him and his lips against him, the small touch grounding him.”Yes you’re right sir. I don’t know better, I’ll try to do better…I just don’t always know…what you want from me…” He stated quietly, hoping he hadn’t over stepped his boundaries by stating that, he knew that could be seen as an insult, stating that his master did not give clear instructions.
"There's nothing I want from you." Montparnasse insisted, using the knuckle of his index finger to raise the others chin. "You're mine,--" he reminded the other. "I already have anything I could want." he laughed turning his lip up at the other and looking away.

Grantaire smiled a bit to himself, as he sat next to his master, not touching him, not having received the permission to do so but he hesitantly threw a glance at him.”I just want to make you proud of me sir, I want you to be happy, but I disappointed you…I always end up disappointing you..” Grantaire nodded at his words forcing a smile to his lips.”I’m sorry, sir. I’m being cruel and I’m really sorry.” He whispered, slowly opening the packet of crackers, pulling one out to munch on it
"Its alright." he sighed, snaking an arm around the other. "You barely know better." he said pressing his lips to the others temple, giving him a small kiss. "But you'll do better, non?"

"Y-Yes Sir" he replied obediently, swallowing thickly as the other’s fingers dug into him. A chill ran down his spine as he realized just how exposed and vulnerable he was.

"We have rivals," he said, locking the car doors and beginning to drive, "lots of them. They tried to use you to get the both of us there, which frightens me — they knew you and Brujon were getting close. They must have been watching."
"Why would they care about me?-- I'm not important," he said running his hands through his hair. "I run drugs, why wouldn't they do this to someone else?" stressed, the boy pulled out a cigarette and lit it immediately. "Don't try to blame this on me, 'Sous."

Grantaire winced at the reaction his master had sent him and he quickly bent down to grab the crackers that had fallen to the ground. “You’re right, I’m so sorry, sir. I won’t do it again, I’m so grateful for what you do…for me. Thank you sir.” Grantaire whispered, but kept his gaze down knowing he wasn’t to look at the other without permission.”Do I go back down, sir?”
"No," he said calmly and patted a spot on the bed, gesturing for the other to join him. "Why do you always look so sad, pet?" he asked with a pout, "Don't you know how cruel that is to me?"

"I…I’m sorry sir, I know I didn’t earn it. I was just cold..and hungry. I’ll go back down." Grantaire whispered looking down, but he sent him a quick pleading look before turning around.
Montparnasse sighed letting his head fall back and rolled his eyes. He got up and grabbed a box of rice crackers from under his bed and chucked them at the other. "Stop complaining, other boys would kill to be where you are."
"They were," he said, "if they saw us. You and I were luckily." He placed a calming hand on his back. "Now get in the car — I need to go get Didier and the crew. I don’t have time to drop you back at home."
Montparnasse looked down at the ground and hopped into the car, wondering what happened to the other men inside. "Can you at least explain what's going on?" he asked the other, voice cracking out of nervousness.

Montparnasse laughed out loud at the other, spilling his drink on the carpet. He kicked the other with the butt of his heel in response and stood up. "Do you see that?" he asked looking down as the wine began to stain the light carpet. "Clean that up immediately,"

Claquesous glanced down at his phone and cringed. His gloves were still on, no way he could get them off to text him without bringing attention to himself.
It was another twenty minutes before he could slip out the door unnoticed. He bolted for the car. “Montparnasse,” he hissed, looking for him.
Afraid, the boy hid in the darkest corner he could find. He only came out once he was certain that the man near the car was Claquesous. He ran over to him after scoping the area to make sure it was safe and clutched at the fabric the other was wearing. "I thought those people were going to kill us."
