I like that at least from what I’ve seen, J’s Default expression in the Mother Protocol AU has kinda shifted to instead of like annoyance and disappointment, a kind of contentment. A very drained and tired contentment, but she legitimately loves what she’s doing, and I love that for her! She deserves to look back on her life and go: “I think this is good. I like this! It’s not perfect, but I like it, and that’s what matters.”

YES!! THIS!! Reminded me of that one quote with a old Garfield plush next to a new one “To be loved.. is to be changed”
