My step-dad found a box in our attic from the previous owner. It turns out it was a box of letters that a husband wrote to his wife on deployment in WWII, and the letters he sent back. The crazy thing is he has the same handwriting as @walking-snapple-cap and says the same things that he would write to me when he was in boot camp. And the letters she sent to him were the same as the ones I would send to Trey. This is so crazy and cute I think I'm gonna die.

How did you ask your girlfriend to be your girlfriend? Do you have any advice on asking girls out?

So I took @mrsprison to a hockey game. It was Blackhawks at the Flyers. We won 3-0, it was amazing. So getting back to where I was, it was the second period intermission, we got some fries and cheese, and we were eating them. And she looked over at me and was like, “Are you happy?” And I said, “Yeah I’m pretty happy. But I would be a lot happier if you were my girlfriend.” And then she got all red and said, “Wait, are you asking me for real?” She ended up saying yes, and here we are today. When it comes to asking girls out, just be yourself and be confident. The worst she can do is say no, so you may as well go balls to the wall. I actually had to ask her three times before she finally said yes. So just be cool about it. I hope that helped!
