Alan shuffled a little uncomfortably, an eyebrow raised as more and more questions tumbled out of the other's mouth, not really giving him much time to respond. But there was something endearing about it, and he found himself relaxing, a half smile on his lips as he lifted his weapon to show him, gazing at it almost fondly. 

"Yeah there's more humans coming. Hopefully they'll try and talk things out before fighting. Samael's like the head honcho of all the demons who tell us to go do shit for them. He sent us here to ask why your people are eating demons or something. Nah I'm not banished, at least I don't think I am. My demon, Marquis Andras gave me feathers. This thing is a bat usually you hit balls with it but I use it for smashing other people- not that I plan on smashing you with it or anyone else right now it's just for self defense ok. Eksusha is a cool as hell name and- Jesus fucking christ are you ever tall."

Alan had finally looked up from staring at his bat to find that the other in front of him was much taller than he was, which was definitely saying something, and he was also completely naked. Not that Alan could bring that up. That'd be impolite.

"Uhhh so. Eating demons..are you guys doing that? If so is there any reason behind it?"

Alan wandered further into the cave, starting to feel just a little wary of how silent it was. Maybe there were a bunch of those beast things watching him, and he was unwillingly walking right into an ambush. Maybe they'd jump out at him and tear him to pieces and no one would know about it.

He didn't get much time to dwell on it, really. The sound of a voice made him hoot in surprise, dropping his bat with a metallic thud which he then quickly scrambled to pick up, his feathers standing on end as he whirled around to look at the newcomer.

Well he couldn't say for sure that he expected something called a cave beast to look so..human. But still he wasn't really looking too great himself so, after a few moments of wary staring, he finally raised a hand in response.

"Uh. Hi." Shit this guy seemed happy. Which didn't necessarily mean Alan was safe, but he couldn't help but lower his guard a little. "Are you one of those cave beasts? Samael reckons you're eating other demons or something and while I don't really care, everyone elses demons were sending them in here so I thought I'd join in to see what's going on."

"Also this bat is just for protection it's nothing personal. I come in peace and all that. I should probably also mention I'm a human, huh. Since I look like some sort of bird."
