Beth, I am in a fucking rehab center. I want to break out so bad. I want cocain so bad. I want everything that is bad for me so bad. I would advice you for you to stay as far away from as you can. I’m not a good influence right now and honestly I don’t have the strengh to be.

Hey hey hey, calm down okay? You don't need it Tyler, you do not need it. You're so much better than that- I know you are, everyone knows you are, and deep down you know you are too. I'm not a kid, you don't have to try to protect me when you're the one who needs protecting. It's okay to need help Tyler, and you do.. You don't have to be a good influence on anyone, you need someone to be a good influence for you. I love you, Posey.. I just want what's best for you, and to be completely honest I don't think being alone in some rehab center is what's best.

Only Dylan knew. No one in my family does. They think I’m too busy working to go home and honestly, I prefer that stay that way. Like I said, you can come, I don’t care anymore.

Come on, Tyler.. Don't be like that. You said you felt alone, and here I am trying to help you and you're shutting me out. I care because you're my best friend and one of the only people I ever want to talk to, or be with and you're hurting and I want to help. Don't pull that card, because you know people love you and people care- don't play the victim.. But fine, if you don't want me to come I won't.. But don't feel bad for yourself and say nobody cares, because people care- you just won't let them.

I don’t care, just promise me. I’m being taken care of by the most amazing people and they know what they’re doing. I don’t want to hurt you, so don’t come. I don’t know, I felt the need to be okay, mostly because he’s like my brother. When he started to fall down, I felt like I needed to be the strong one… so I had to step up as the older brother, although his some months older than me… I tried, but everyone was so damn busy… besides, it was christmas, everyone was going home and I… I was alone. I couldn’t tell anyone or force someone to stay.

Dylan is really good keeping secrets… specially mine. He knows I’m in rehab. He comes to visit from time to time, when I ask him to.. I can’t say it’s heaven, Beth, since it’s rehab after all, but it’s doing me good. I have people watching my every move and my every call, so I can’t do much. But I’m being taken care of..

How would you hurt me..? I understand why you felt that way, but there had to have been someone you could talk to. I just- I hate that it got this bad, and I wish there was something I could do to help but I know there isn't and I absolutely hate it. I don't want to see you like this- it kills me.. Tyler, I was here over Christmas. You could have talked to me and you didn't. You weren't alone, you just convinced yourself that you were and every time someone tried to help you shut them out.

Yeah, that's for sure.. That's good. I'm glad you're not always alone there. Who else knows? Does your family come see you- or anyone else? Tyler, you know I would be there in a heartbeat with you- if you would let me.. But anytime, if you ever need me, just say the word and I'm there. Okay? I'm glad you're being taken care of- I just wish it was by people you know and love and not random people at a rehab place..

Just promise me you won’t come here. Please. When Dylan started to get worse, I felt bad for not being there for my best friend. But mostly, I started to really realize how I wouldn’t be able to call my mom in the middle of the night or anything. So I started to get worse but I thought if I showed it… people would just think I was being a baby, that Dylan was worse.

I had already told my past with drugs to Dylan and he took it a really bad way and we had this fight… and it was huge. Remember, when we were both upset? That was it. Well, I called an old friend of mine and asked him for a dose… of cocain. One time thing, I said to myself, but it turned so much more… and here I am. I’m so sorry Beth…

How can I promise that, I'm freaking out over here, Posey.. You should never have to feel like that- don't ever hide how you feel. Obviously, nothing good comes out of it. Tyler, your mom died- you had every right to fall apart, you didn't have to act like everything was okay.. Yes, Dylan's dad died but just because he was hurting doesn't mean you couldn't be hurting too. It was all just too much at once, I get that, but god dammit Posey you should have talked to someone.. Anyone, really.

Yeah, I remember.. Just didn't know what it was about. Are you okay, though..? I mean, really okay? God, I hate the thought of you being there. Alone..
