I’m really digging the all-road bike trend. It seems to fit my riding ambitions well! This Icarus is a rad example!

So, the trailer for the new Armstrong biopic just came out. It really makes me wonder the percentage of fiction to non-fiction here...
Ion and his ridiculous antics always crack me up. This short race is no different!
Video from the Ion Gottlich youtube channel.
I don’t know where this illustration came from, but it is cool, so I need to share it.
Whether you’re a Taylor Phinney fan or not, this video is beautiful and puts life into perspective. Much thought and wisdom here.

I was digging through some pictures and came across this Gilmour single speed. Really liking this rig!
Sorry for the lack of photo credit. Guessing Tracko, but it was featured on The Radavist with a different saddle, chainring and pedals.
Modern take on a vintage bike by Bishop.

So this is pretty rad. John Watson photographed this Legor Cicli track bike at NAHBS in 2011. The bike now belongs to Chas Christiansen and he obviously uses it to the max! Very cool to see a once show bike now as a patina’d street racer.
Here are the NAHBS pics and here are the current pictures.
Pretty cool frame building video I spotted over at Tracko. Looks like Triton produces some great titanium frames along with cool videos.
I was just tipped by my Trek rep to this link. Looks like something big is happening. It’s kinda tough to pinpoint what, since both road and mountain athletes and products are shown. Though, I did hear something about a new Madone this year...
Since none of us are gonna be buying an Urban Racer for nearly $5000, unless you’re commuting to the office where you practice high end corporate law...

After weeks upon weeks of teasers and little information, the Speedvagen Urban Racer has finally launched. Welcome to the age of 650b roadies with coaster brakes people...
Info on The Radavist.
I’m not much of a mountain biker myself, but that doesn’t mean I don’t highly admire the skills and fitness those dudes achieve. Plus who doesn’t like watchin’ this kind of stuff?
Caps not hats!
Looks like Ringtail might be open for business soon...I’d like to score one of these rad caps!
I’ve always thought Andy’s couch at FYXO was such a rad idea. Actually, I find the couch appallingly ugly, but it inspired many couch/bike related pics at Horizon Cycling. So, thanks FYXO!
Old school class meets new road bike flash. This Victoire Bellevue frame built from Reynolds 631 and fillet brazed sure is pretty.

Back when I was still able to ride a track bike. Man, I miss those days. Just a word to the wise, don’t take a pedal single stroke for granted.
