PHAN!!!!!!!!!!
there’s this extremely kind soul of a woman on instagram that makes accessible recipes that don’t require standing, chopping, or a stove and she might just have a permanent place in my heart
edit: here's her YouTube account, as well as her TikTok and Facebook :)
mamma mia be like
Summer in movies:
Mamma Mia (2008) filmed in Greece, on the islands of Skopelos and Skiathos, in the Sporades archipelago and in the village of Damouchari, on the Pelion peninsula.
Not to like be too enamoured with celebrities but Stellan Skarsgård really is some kind of nationall treasure
x
Mamma Mia! (2008) dir. Phyllida Lloyd
doctor who series 4: my personal ranking
(don’t hate me) (jk feel free to argue w me)
turn left
midnight
stolen earth/journeys end
silence in the library/forest of the dead
partners in crime
the unicorn and the wasp
fires of pompeii
planet of the ood
the doctor’s daughter
the sontaran strategem/poison sky
i honestly love all of series 4 i think it has no weak episodes (unlike series 1-3) so this was hard!
turn left, midnight, and stolen earth/journey’s end always make my top 5, and silence in the library/forest of the dead, partners in crime, and the unicorn and the wasp always make my top 10 of all tenth doctor episodes so the rest were up against strong competition
Doctor Who season 4 is so delightful because you can tell that The Doctor, on occasion, straight up forgets that he's sad and burned because he's busy being in a sci-fi buddy comedy. And then something will remind him and he'll be like oh! I'm sad and burdened! And Donnas almost always there to be like 'hi sad and burdened. I'm Donna' and he has a completely proportional reaction like 'i would die a thousand deaths for you'.
he is utterly delighted to have received first place in the sanrio character ranking 2025

the Ghosts all gathering around to watch Mike die in the house (he's very old, it's cool) excited to maybe finally get to talk to him but once he's dead he just kinda looks around at them like 'oohhh... okay!!' and immediately moves on. fully satisfied with his life.
can’t believe I have to say this but it’s completely okay to question your own sexuality as an adult. you don’t have to have every single thing in your life figured out before you turn 18 babe. those socially deadlines are not real. there’s actually no such thing as deadline for learning new things about yourself as long as you’re alive
Hello and welcome to the very first Creature of the Month! For the month of February, I will be taking a deep dive into the gorgeous marine mammal Orcinus Orca, also known as the Killer Whale. Check back on Monday for the next update, Anatomy and Physiology! Introduction to Killer Whales: The Majestic Apex Predators
The Orca (scientific name Orcinus Orca) is a marine mammal, native to oceans around the globe. Orcas, while also known as Killer Whales, are actually not whales at all, but dolphins. They are the apex predators of the sea and the largest of dolphins. Orcas can range anywhere from 23 to 32 feet long and can weigh up to 6 tons. They have distinctive black and white coloring. This black and white coloring helps them to appear smaller and blend into their surroundings. These spots also help with recognition between whales. Orcas are most abundant in colder waters such as Antarctica, Norway, and Alaska, but can also be found near Hawaii, Australia, and the Bahamas. Orcas live in family groups called pods. These pods can be groups of up to 40 individuals. Orcas hunt within these groups, and because they are at the very top of the food chain, they feast on a variety of different animals. From fish, penguins, squid, and birds. They also hunt other marine mammals like seals, sea lions, and even whales. Orcas are extremely intelligent and social animals. As smart and social animals, orcas have a huge variety of sounds in order to communicate with each other. Each pod has distinctive sounds that members will easily recognize even from extremely far away. They use echolocation to communicate as well as hunt their prey. This allows them to gather information like size, shape, and location of objects within their surroundings. The Orca stands as a fascinating and formidable apex predator of the ocean, renowned for its intelligence, social structures, and striking appearance. By understanding and appreciating the unique characteristics and behaviors of these magnificent marine mammals, we can better advocate for their conservation and protect the delicate balance of marine ecosystems. Join us as we continue to delve deeper into the world of killer whales, exploring their anatomy, behaviors, and the challenges they face in our rapidly changing oceans. Stay tuned for our next edition, where we'll uncover the marvels of their anatomy and physiology. 🐋✨
