I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. Well, here’s what’s been going on. I’m actually not 100% ready to write this, but I’ve been getting a ton of anon hate about it, so I figure I need to say something.

First off, I have a new tumblr: themetatphorgirl.tumblr.com. You’re welcome to come follow me there! If you don’t want to follow me, that’s fine. But why do I have a new tumblr?

Here’s the short version: I started a new tumblr because I need a fresh start. Eight months ago, shortly after our anniversary, my husband announced he’s just not the marrying type, he never wanted to marry me in the first place, he doesn’t love me like that and isn’t sure if he ever did,and yeah, could we separate? It really hurts, especially since I’ve dealt with him cheating on me four different times in the course of our nearly five year marriage and stupidly trusted him every time he said “I’m sorry, I love you, it won’t happen again.” 

So unless things change, no, I am not married anymore. No, I will not answer your anon messages about my marriage. My new themetaphorgirl tumblr is a safe space for me and I fervently hope that is something that can be honored. Hateful messages will be deleted, but pictures of kittens, words of encouragement, and offers of eligible bachelors are all welcome. (mostly kidding about the eligible bachelors).

My phone died last night before I could post this, but after buying my first two #festivaloffantasy pins I went to a different register with a friend so she could trade vinylmations. The cast member noticed I had the pins and asked if I got the ones I wanted. I said not exactly, I was hoping for Tangled and Frozen, and she told me to hang on while she popped in the back. Lo and behold...the pins!! I spent so much money last night, but now I have them!!
