A few days ago, I took the first picture. I was so excited with how beautiful my zucchini were looking. I came out later that afternoon to admire again, and found the one laying on the ground. The spine had snapped. I tried to tape it up, but the following morning all the leaves were wilting and it snapped off in my hand. I kept calm and I dug up the roots and took the top of the spine and planted it the ground. I figured, what the hell, it could still grow, if not, it becomes mulch - win-win. The next day it looked dreadful, but I just gave it some water and then it rained and in the third day, a flower OPENED. Is it still alive? I have no idea. I think so.
