A Bed for Bean

Bean is our third rescue Chihuahua. She has been with us for 1.5 years now and doesn't have a lot of new things for herself. She usually uses Pino's or Yuki's hand-me-downs.

But last night we got her very own bed. A cat bed, that is. For the only 'cat' in our family. :)

Bean usually would sneak in under our sheets at night. But last night, she did not even try. I guess, we picked the right bed.

Something Pretty Arrived Yesterday

My emera* is here! I will tell you right now, I am loving this bag!

It's just the right size for me being petite and all. It fits my camera equipments, including the 70-200mm lens.

Great thing about this bag is that it is wide, has the capability to expand a little more, the zipper and a inside compartment for paper goods, like magazines or contracts and such.

Though I currently have a Kelly Moore bag (in a beautiful chocolate color) and love it for it's style and function - it's just too big and very heavy for my frame.

Yuki vs Guinea Turkeys

Yuki was a little bored while we were busy putting up our Christmas tree.

So I took her outside and the Guinea turkeys happen to be roaming nearby our front door.

Yuki has never seen a live turkey before and was very curious.

The Guinea turkeys aren't so happy about Yuki being there though and chased her away.

After being chased a few times, Yuki decided it's time to chase them instead. She almost caught one of them and I had to tell her no. :)

The farm also has chickens and a rooster.

The Farm House

We moved from a tiny boxed apartment into this beautiful, spacious farmhouse 2 weeks ago.

The farmhouse sits on top of a small hill in the middle of the huge farm. We are very thankful and very happy to be living here!

This is main door of the house. Yuki likes to look out from the glass door. The house is filled with lots of windows and skylights. Natural light fills every part of the house during the day.

Our dogs are welcome at the farm and are not treat like liabilities. They finally have a yard to enjoy.

Can't wait for summer, it'll be so much fun!

Rode the Hot Air Balloon in Lancaster, PA. We were served sparkling (non-alcoholic) champagne after landing and received these glasses as souvenir. =) On a side note, the Nikkor 24mm f/1.4G is such an amazing lens. This image was taken inside a car with tinted windows and with utmost, bare minimum light.

I am very impressed!
