A couple of projects finished up recently.

The ringed sharp thing is leaf spring with paracord and waxed thread on the handle.

The hunter just got some kydex pants, it's made from leaf spring and Elm on the handle harvested from a tree that fell in my yard.

Making use of some scraps kicking around the shop with this little pair. The spike is rebar, hand forged and finished on a belt grinder. The knife is a leftover chunk of leaf spring, oak cutoffs from another project and the pin is an old nail

A few pics of my most recent journey, you can see the chunk of railroad clip I started with in the first pic. Made a mistake and tried a wrap on the handle, that lasted about 3 seconds before I hated myself for taking the shortcut haha. The last pic is where it is now. The blade is gun blued, handles are a mystery wood from Jamaica, brass pins and a kydex sheath. A few more tweaks on the sheath, a final edge and it will be complete!
